A Sainsbury’s Scotland family grocery haul packed with practical buys, budget-friendly offers, and a few festive treats for the week ahead. Cheryl spends just under £70 on the usual household staples plus a handful of handy extras, from baby baked potatoes, bananas, butter, cheese, wraps, salad, green beans, roast beef slices and tiger loaf to Actimel, yoghurt pouches, custard, jelly, lentil chips and a strawberry trifle.

There are also everyday essentials like bleach, toothpaste, deodorant and ibuprofen, along with comfort-food picks such as chicken and mushroom pastry slices, smoked cheddar, Derry Lee cheese spread, a Madeira cake and festive mini loaves. She also mentions a couple of items still to pick up from the local butcher, including minced beef and pork chops, making this a realistic UK family food shop and supermarket haul.

If you enjoy grocery haul videos, budget shopping, Sainsbury’s hauls, UK family food shops, and real-life meal planning content, this one is a useful and relatable watch. It’s especially suited to viewers looking for supermarket shopping inspiration, affordable meal ideas, and everyday Scottish lifestyle content.

00:37so thank
00:38you so much for coming back this week just to see what i've got for the family food shop as
00:43usual
00:44we've gone to sainsbury's and spent just under 70 pounds so 68 pound and 57p so i'll just start from
00:52the beginning to the end in no particular order so i got some bay baked potatoes and i also got
00:58a big
00:58bag of ice as well i know we're in the winter but i love a nice cold drink and i
01:03don't think you can
01:04beat ice and a nice cold drink and then some actamel as well i've been using this for about a
01:10year now
01:11i don't know if it makes any difference it's meant to be good for your gut health but i do
01:16enjoy the
01:16way that it tastes and it's always on offer so i'll just continue to get it i don't suppose it's
01:21doing any harm and then my usual frozen jackets which i really like and then these wraps are amazing
01:29they taste lovely they're nice and soft but they've got 14 grams of fiber in each wrap and i'm trying
01:36to
01:37up my fiber so this is excellent you know that's two of them and you've got your daily recommended
01:42allowance of fiber so yeah those are fab then a couple of bottles of bleach i just used this for
01:49down the toilets exclusively and then some custard as well this one was an offer and it's lovely it's
01:55got such a nice flavor almost almondy there's just something about it that's just lovely and then our
02:01usual bananas but this is a bigger bunch of bananas there are eight in here because our usual bananas
02:07are about 78p these are 130 just simply because there are more bananas and those will take a couple
02:13of days to ripen up properly i reckon and then a block of butter which was also on offer this
02:20one
02:20isn't usually on offer because the one i normally get but yeah nice to save 20p on that and then
02:26this
02:26cheese is tiny i thought it was going to be much bigger and this is just to put by you
02:31know for new
02:32year we like to have biscuits and cheese at new year but yeah i will get another one of those
02:36and then these yogurt pouches again we're on offer they're normally a wee bit dearer and this is
02:41something i would have in the morning or even in the afternoon as a wee snack there are 20 grams
02:46of
02:46protein in these wee pouches and they are quite pleasant i have had them before quite low in calories
02:52as well so when they're on offer i do pick up these kinds of things they're just handy to have
02:57in the
02:58fridge if you want to sort of top up your protein for the day and this diluting juice i thought
03:02looked
03:03amazing the combination of apple and rhubarb i think is going to be absolutely delicious and then
03:09i needed some cheese as well and this is the one that we prefer but was on offer this week
03:13which is
03:14a bonus it's quite a big block and this will do us for well over a week obviously depending on
03:19what
03:20we're making macaroni cheese that'll probably be gone in a couple of days and then a tiger loaf which
03:25is lovely and crunchy on the top but lovely and soft on the bottom then i picked up one of
03:31our usual
03:31tuna pasta bake seasoning sachets and i don't think i need that this week but it's just about half price
03:37which is really good because you don't normally find these kinds of things you know with a half
03:42price on them so i said i think i'll get this and just stick it into the cupboard if i
03:46don't use it
03:46this week i will probably use it next week and it is really handy to have and then just a
03:52bag of salad
03:53as well and then for yogurts i got two of the yo valley so i got one of the peach
03:58and apricot and also
03:59got one of the lemon curd as well the lemon curd one is lovely it's really zingy which i like
04:06i don't
04:06eat much yoghurt like that i prefer greek yoghurt but they are really nice and then a bag of green
04:12beans just for the side of something and then i got some roast beef slices and these are absolutely
04:17tiny i have bought this before and they're usually quite large slices but these ones are really really
04:24small but they are just for a sandwich or a roll or something anyway so i don't suppose it matters
04:29that much but i was quite surprised by the size but anyway yeah pack of roast beef and then some
04:35toothpaste as well and i'm sure i bought this last time and it's still half price so instead of six
04:41pounds it's down to three pounds so yeah bargain on that one as well and then some of mr what's
04:48for
04:48tea's cardboard slices i really don't like this although i don't mind actually it's not that bad
04:54but it's a bit tasteless so yeah riveta and then a couple of these chicken and mushroom pastry slices
05:00which i reckon are going to be lovely full of fat and calories of course but i'm sure they are
05:05going
05:06to be very tasty and then a couple of boxes of ibuprofen because i've often got a sore head with
05:12mr
05:12what's for tea so i got two boxes of those and then a large tub of the dairily cheese spread
05:19mr
05:19what's for tea really likes this one something else again i'm not that you know that keen on
05:25but he likes it so into the basket with that and then a strawberry trifle as well another one we
05:31haven't bought for quite a wee while i was looking for the wee individual pots which they didn't have
05:37or were out of stock so just get the large one so this will do about four times really easy
05:42to make
05:43your own trifle but that's really handy just to have in the fridge and then some cheddars these are the
05:48smoked cheddar flavor which i thought would be nice with cheese on the top and then these wee serene
05:54mini loaves these are the gingerbread sort of festive edition which i thought sounded quite nice and then
06:01for some custard i thought this madeira cake would be nice this is the iced madeira cake and you've
06:06got buttercream in there and jam in there that's something else it's really easy to make yourself
06:11but if it's already made in the snack drawer it just makes life that wee bit easier and then these
06:16jellies are a ridiculous price for what they are i know that but again they're just so handy to have
06:23in the fridge and just grab and go if you want something sweet which doesn't have a lot of calories
06:28and they are just fruit jelly at the end of the day and it you know does pain me to
06:33pay that much
06:34money for them but they are really handy and some lentil chips as well which we haven't had the
06:39individual bags for a wee while and again just something handy to have in the snack drawer and
06:44then i needed some deodorant this is the one that i normally buy which had a wee bit of money
06:48off of
06:49it this week which is really handy and then i needed a gift bag just for a gift for somebody
06:54that i'm meeting
06:55up with i haven't seen for a wee while and i thought this one was nice and festive you know
07:00and
07:00obviously very scottish with the tartan on the front or the plaid depending on you know what
07:06you like to call it so that was everything that i bought this week and i will need to pick
07:10up a
07:11couple of things from the local butcher as well i do need some minced beef and i also need some
07:16pork
07:17chops as well which i will get over the next couple of days but that's everything that we will use
07:22other than the butcher so thank you so much for watching if you're still here and a huge thank you
