00:00um another team that i want to ask you about uh the lions because the lions almost lost
00:05lines almost lost saints uh it went to overtime they almost blew a 20 point lead
00:11uh they were up what was it 21 to nothing or something like that yeah it was crazy and the
00:16saints came back tied it at 24 um and then they couldn't get a two-point conversion and they lost
00:22does that tell you anything about the lions because i know that you were talking about
00:26dan campbell kind of being on that hot seat this this wasn't really a good showing for anybody that
00:31believes in that lions team i thought they just took their foot off the gas i really do i think
00:37they got up on new orleans and they kind of you know had the same feel that i have about
00:41new orleans like
00:42tyler shuck what is it what is that but he played well he gave an a plus effort out there
00:47but at the
00:48end of the day they didn't get the win the lions did but i really just kind of felt like
00:54the lions
00:54controlled this game jameer gibbs was unbelievable another guy who had an outstanding performance
00:58right out of the gate uh amaran saint brown ended up catching a game winning touchdown but it just
01:04really felt like all right we got this game let's let's just let's make sure we don't get hurt they're
01:09gonna get yards but we went we're gonna win the game and then they were like oh wait a minute
01:13we're
01:13in the game now and so i thought that this was kind of like one of those situations where you
01:19you kind
01:19of feel like you have control of the game and then all of a sudden you look up you don't
01:22and you just
01:22kind of gotta you know uh choke the life out of them and they were able to do that yeah
01:27i i think
01:28that the saints team just hung around enough to kind of make it interesting the lions like you said
01:34kind of took their foot off the pedal they didn't really close well uh and this is one of those
01:39games
01:39they probably thought that they could just roll over right yeah but that offense doesn't look the
01:44same jameson williams is a non-factor by the way it not that oh and that should never be said
01:50a person that fast with that good indoors should never that should never be a factor and so that
01:59offense it just doesn't look the same minus ben johnson and that's my biggest worry because now
02:04you see that that this is the second year in a row that defense it will give up points it's
02:10it's the
02:10dan campbell you know lock jaw that that ain't really that ain't holding no more yeah and so if they
02:16don't score this is another team that if they don't score they're probably going to be in trouble
02:21and so i today was an example of it but they were just able to shut off the saints because

02:26saints yeah a lot of a lot of close games around the nfl i feel like it was a really
