00:00You mentioned, listen, teams that are bounce back.
00:03Tampa Bay, New Orleans, Carolina, Atlanta.
00:08Who wins this division?
00:10I mean, who would you lean towards here?
00:12You think Tampa figures it out?
00:14Is New Orleans better than we're giving them credit?
00:16Or is Carolina better than we're giving them credit here at this point?
00:20Carolina will be better.
00:22The Saints will be better than they were a year ago.
00:24So I guess I would lean toward Tampa Bay because they probably have,
00:31if I'm looking at all of those teams, the best seasoned quarterback of them all.
00:35And so maybe, but I don't love their coach.
00:39It's tough, Joe.
00:41It could come right down to the end.
00:42I wouldn't rule the Saints out.
00:44I think the Panthers will be better than they showed a year ago.
00:46The only team that I don't like is Atlanta.
00:50Even though I think they'll be better than what they showed,
00:52but I think that they understand that this could be a season
00:56where they don't win a ton of games.
00:58Like, I don't think they did enough in the offseason to get better.
01:02Now, overreaction, it's certainly, it's coming, and we know this.
01:08Yesterday, talking to you, it sounded like you think the Bears are dropping
01:1150 points every week.
01:13I do.
01:14Even against that Vikings defense that did a heck of a job of making the adjustments
01:19and shutting everyone down, are we getting a higher-scoring game here again
01:25with the Vikings and Bears?
01:26I do think so.
01:27Yeah, I do think so.
01:28Yeah.
01:28I'm going to buy the Bears for the majority of the season on offense.
01:32On defense, I'm not sold at all, but I do think, yes,
01:36I would go back to the Bears team total over, whatever that is.
01:40Is it going to be the highest in the NFL this week?
01:44I don't know.
01:45San Francisco may be the highest?
01:47Yeah.
01:47Yeah, San Francisco may be the highest of all.
01:49Yeah, yeah.
01:51But, yes, I will keep buying the Bears until I see differently.
01:56I think regression will come, but regression, Joe, from 59 can be 45
02:02and still look pretty good.
02:04And they did not get their two offensive weapons at wide receiver involved.
02:07They didn't get their tight end involved.
02:09What happens when that starts?
02:11Yes, and you just know that I don't think the Bears are going to rush
02:14for 200 yards every week.
02:16It just seems to me that Ben Johnson is doing things almost identical
02:22in Chicago than what he did in Detroit.
02:24And you remember that season that Detroit had three years ago
02:27where it was like Dan Campbell's a genius, Ben Johnson's a genius,
02:32and they were on the doorstep of the Super Bowl,
02:35and then Ben Johnson left, and then the team wasn't as good.
02:37So I think that there is something to it.
02:40He just happens to be one of the best offensive coaches in the NFL
02:43in a really long time, and I think that he's going to prove it again.
02:46It's going to be a fun year for the Bears.
02:48But, Joe, they're going to lose games, man, and they're going to lose some games,
02:51probably 42 to 37.
02:52It's going to be a fun season.
02:54Yeah.
02:55Yeah, I think entertaining is definitely a word I would use there,
03:00but you've got to play a defense that can actually stop you.
03:06Unfortunately, Carolina's best defensive players all got hurt preseason,
03:11and they have nobody who can rush the passer on that side.
03:15I think the test is coming, and I think this is going to be an interesting one.
03:18You'll buy if they score 40 this week.
03:23I will, because Flores and that defense of Minnesota,
03:28that's going to show us what we need to know.
