00:47it was a dominant ride he was the best guy on track all day but i think what impressed me

00:52was his consistency out of the gate everyone knows in a mud race that is where the race is won
00:58and for
00:59him to go out there get a good start win the first moto and then back it up again with

01:04start in the second moto that is difficult to do that's not normally his calling card has struggled
01:09with being consistently in the top three off the start but i think if he keeps that up he has
01:15a very
01:15good chance of winning this smx world championship and finally jorge prado got his first win in america
01:23at our last pro motocross race in ironman just a few weeks ago he's riding high on confidence goes out
01:29that gets a podium in the mud last weekend which is his admittedly not his favorite condition so
01:34i think we will see the best of jorge prado these next couple weekends jorge prado with a solid
01:40race a week ago and he was ecstatic you could tell on the podium he was really happy with it
01:45carries the red plate your points lead he's racing for that million dollars trying to be an smx world
01:50champion 56.1 these guys are throwing down early he's probably the best the track's going to be
01:55all day long and i love that line right there yeah i love that little three five three a lot

02:05motorcycle just barely clipped the top of that five footer kept the bike super level able to carry
02:12speed in those corners and i love what i'm seeing from the 26 right now i think this condition the

02:53racer but for these hybrid style tracks like we've seen in years past the faster tracks that you have to
03:00be less precise on that's not normally where cooper webb does well but with the smaller stadium floors
03:05here i think he does have a chance and i just love that line from hayden vegan doubling to the
03:11inside of
03:12the sand right there that was unreal man it's not often times that we almost come out of our seat

03:17on race day live we just about did the corner speed the speed from hayden tegan 50.5 over a

03:24second faster than everybody else on track and i really think for hayden when you look at his
03:29career in the 250 class these hybrid style tracks from 2023 until now he's been lights out he's been
03:36so good so i think for him even though he didn't get a win in pro motocross at the 450
03:41level at the
03:42premier class level i think coming into the playoffs he already thought this is where i can do some damage
03:48so getting that win in the mud last weekend like i said off the top just gives him that validation
03:53that he is the best guy in these conditions about the 96 hunter lawrence on the honda hrc progressive
03:59ride he wins the 450 motocross title he was in contention down to the very last few laps in salt

04:06city for the supercross title now he's in contention for the smx world championship talk about just being
04:12in title contention really for the last couple years and in the 450 in the 450 class this is the
04:18first year for hunter when he's been a championship level guy and being in contention weekend and week
04:24out all year long that takes a toll on even the most mentally disciplined humans on the planet but
04:31if hunter lawrence he's gonna have to dig he's gonna have to dig for this smx world championship it's
04:37been a long year i know he's been struggling with a bit of a wrist injury but if that is
04:41a bit better
04:41he's able to go out there and give his best of course he's a favorite to go out there and
04:46get it done
04:46well eli tomac just a couple weeks ago announced that these three playoff rounds will be the last
04:51of his career he's fourth right now 51.5 we're going to get a chance to celebrate the three and
04:56just everything he's done but how about the 38 unbelievable lands leaned over already on the gas
05:04a lot of guys sticking with this outside option in the sand just allows you to carry your momentum
05:08this sand is so deep there on the inside as soon as you shut the gas off and load the
05:14front end the
05:15front end just wants to wash right out from underneath you but hayden deegan almost just put
05:19a 49 down 50.0 for hayden deegan jorge prado second right now with a 50.6 hunter lawrence and
05:27how about
05:27rj hampshire in that rockstar energy factory husk of honor ride he's in the top five and eli tomac
05:33rounds out your top five right now that's jorge prado's teammate and we're going to celebrate eli tomac
05:38this is going to be fun over the next couple weeks we're obviously going to miss him but
05:41what a legendary career but how about this guy he's got a lot of confidence right now jorge prado
05:45does after that one one performance at iron man a couple weeks ago and we saw with the first unseated
05:50250 guys and in the 250 class a lot of guys going to the far kind of outside of these
05:54bulk corners but
05:55you see the ruts starting to form and i love how jorge is shortening the track while keeping up his
06:01momentum i think this is going to be a good lap one of the best sand riders on the planet

06:19for jorge right now justin it does not he looks like he is thriving under the pressure you know he
06:25wants to become an smx world champion put another million dollars in his bank account but this man does
06:30as well he narrowly missed out on it a year ago the 96 hunter lawrence sitting third right now
06:36needs a rebound after last week found himself on the ground a few times in the mud 50.9 right

06:43he's going to go for a fast one right here everybody's sticking with that on off quad right
06:49there and you really got to watch your front end in these two 90 degree corners right here not a

06:54traction at all see the front and rear tire kind of skating around on him
06:59always so smooth hunter even when he's at qualifying intensity and he's going 110 percent
07:05just looks like he could do the same thing lap after lap haley tell us more about the 96.
07:10yeah that wrist injury he kind of sprung that on us last weekend at the press conference before
07:15columbus a wrist injury sustained at ironman actually he only had one day of riding coming
07:20into columbus but this past week he said it's been an improvement the weather's also been better
07:24allowing him to ride but he said specifically i was able to hit my lap count
07:28so he knows that coming into playoff two he's going to be able to put in the necessary work
07:32to hopefully achieve a better result thank you haley hunter hasn't qualified outside the top five since
07:38round 12 at st louis supercross he has been in the mix all year long sitting third right now he
07:44bettered
07:45his time 50.1 he's only two tenths off the lead now that you see the time so tight at
07:50the top the less
07:51technical a track is the less precise you have to be the harder you have to ride it the more
07:57aggressive you
