02:06to be that consistent out of the gate because if he's not first besides last weekend he's second or
02:12third every single time and to me at this level in order to get a hole shot that start has

02:58he's aggressive i was watching him in uh first qualifying i mean it's like a complete opposite of
03:04what i was watching with orge like it's like two sides of the spectrum right there and they're i mean
03:09they were what zero point zero something apart so it's uh pretty cool to see it always impresses me
03:14with hayden how how he rides the motorcycles so aggressive to me that would only work in certain
03:20conditions like when you have traction or in the sand but he's able to make that ultra aggressive
03:26riding style and at the same time he doesn't override the bike either which i think is hard to do
03:31yeah to be honest he kind of and they don't ride the exact same but he reminds me of eli
03:37a bit with how
03:38like eli you would think that he's not good in the hard pack but he goes out there and he's

03:42phoenix all these hard pack races so many times and watching hayden it's kind of the same like
03:47he rides like that no matter how the conditions are and it works everywhere i wouldn't say maybe it
03:52wouldn't be easier to ride a different way in certain conditions but he makes it work and i think
03:56it's a special talent to have and that's kind of how i picture eli a bit too because eli the

04:01rides you have to be ultra talented to ride like that in certain conditions well i'd love that we're
04:06bringing this up because we talk about oftentimes technique that's a big conversation here in
04:13supercross and motocross and i love that hayden can do it a different way than you chase or you adam
04:18did or even jet and hunter are doing i think ken roxson kind of started it chase you expanded on

04:23then jet took it to a new level as far as technique and now hayden's coming back you mentioned riding
04:27like eli there's not one way to skin a cat here you can ride so many different ways i think

04:32sees the guy that's winning they think that's the only way you can do it but as you see there's
04:39multiple ways hunter doesn't ride like jet he does beat jet outdoors there's multiple ways to skin a cat
04:44as i would say and uh hayden's just doing it a different way and i think i see all these

04:50trying to ride a certain way and it's just whatever is natural for you you're going to make your your
04:55habits on 85s once you are past a certain age you're going to ride not that you can't change you

05:01perfect stuff but you're the dna is already there like eli is not going to change how he's going to
05:05ride fast basically he was i don't know he's probably ridden the same way since he's been on 85s
05:09yeah you can't tell eli tomac to go and keep it low in the revs i think there's a lot
05:14to be said for
05:15knowing who you are as a rider right and i think everyone watches um obviously jet and like these guys
05:22that are very particular and uh very neat i would say on the bike but eli you watch him and
05:28you really
05:28pick apart even when i was over in europe watching jeffrey ride you would say jeffrey doesn't isn't
05:34maybe the most uh i would say like neat rider but you watch him and really pick the stuff that
05:41he's
05:41doing apart he is he's very precise and so is eli you just got to really pay attention to it

05:47fast lap right here jorge prado overall your fastest that's from session number one fastest in this session
05:53alone is hayden deegan at a 50.3 tomac in this session is six with a 51.4 he had
06:00a 50.8 earlier
06:02he goes triple out of that turn tomac on a fast one right now and i i do think this
06:08racetrack
06:09i i would say lends itself to tomac he he's always good at these tracks think about eight time daytona
06:16winner at these tracks that rewards intensity and aggression right sometimes it's very easy
06:22to be a little bit too aggressive on more precise technical conditions but i think this lines up with
06:27what he does well i said that watching the first practice one like i said earlier i think his the
06:33bike the ktm in these conditions is going to be really good and also the more sand you can put
06:36on
06:36the track the better for eli so i think him and orge both are going to be very good hunter
06:41just uh went to
06:42the top 49.7 like i said the good start or not it's going to be a tough beat hunter
06:47but if he gets
06:49a good start and he rides like that it's going to be nearly impossible and i think hunter since he
06:54since he's been in the 450 class he's been that solid guy right gets good starts consistently in the
07:00top five but we got to start looking at him as the guy that has the raw speed because he's
07:05shown it
07:06all year did you see that corner speed that was unbelievable i think this might be the fact the
07:10new fastest lab i'm not really i think that inside is starting to become a factor that's
07:13where hunter went before the finish line and we'll see he carried so much speed around that turn
07:17going for it right now for 50.4 that time around so it doesn't better his time from earlier today
07:25at that 49.9 but the 38 hayden deegan on your screen he is going to go for one right
07:30now but shout
07:30out to hunter lawrence he's nearly really the only guys hayden goes a little bit long right there
07:34the only guy faster in this session than he was earlier in the session before as justin hill
07:40goes up to p4 we have a justin hill sighting early he had a good little race with justin i
07:47believe is
07:48that cleveland yeah yeah he yeah he got the better isn't it crazy how there are races where justin hill
07:54is outside the top 10 looks like he's just riding around the next weekend he's battling for a podium
07:59or top five like he was in nashville i mean i would i would say justin hill maybe uh one

08:06talented guys in the gate um and i don't think he gets a lot of credit for it so on
