00:30anything and they played a team my second observation was the patriots that now i understand
00:37they don't have aj brown right now but that's the takeaway right now which is the patriots offense
00:41scares nobody i'm not saying it's terrible but i don't think it scares anybody what are they doing
00:47i think that's interesting right now i think the steeler thing is not surprising at all
00:51right but i think what may has looked like through two games is interesting he didn't have aj brown
00:56last year and he should have won the mvp yeah so yeah they're kind of a puzzle so far and

03:45think the chiefs i want to see them tonight and i did so i'll put them there obviously but
03:49bills bangles chiefs i think after that there's a separation you might be able to still make an
03:53argument for the broncos they had a nice bounce back that was a tough week one obviously in kansas city
03:57but man i think the bangles are the team right now that you're looking at going hmm interesting
04:02but yes because of the scar tissue the team you're obsessing about like for me i woke up i watched
04:08that whole game yesterday last night and i was just beside myself how indy gets a gift at the end

04:14overtime there whatever during overtime they get a gift and they just decide not to take advantage of
04:19it and try to win the game right there and i woke up like frustrated about that this morning i'm

04:24you you had this is this is the typical way that we've watched kansas city win in these years that
04:30it ultimately winds up they want to play in the bills and the bills go there and they can't beat
04:34them or whatever but it's just that kind of win for kansas city yeah it two years ago was very

04:40that when they had the the you know the 15 and one before they punted on their final you know
04:44gave up
04:45the last game of the year so they didn't need it was all these close calls where it's more their
04:50opponent can't get out of their own way and that was that was a little bit of yesterday i mean

04:54colts get the get the call overturned on the long pass that sets them up and then it's two run

05:01that lose three yards and it's third and 13 and i you know they end up kicking the tying field

05:10with three minutes left and like giving the ball back to my homes like what do you expect to happen
05:14there you know like i don't know like it handling taylor's their best guy so i on one hand i

05:21you can defend them giving him the ball a little if you want to but it felt like they were

05:27to kick a tying field goal to me which is not where you want to be i had much more
05:32of an issue with them
05:33kicking to start overtime knowing they're playing my homes now i don't i'm not like blanket against
05:38that that's fine i totally get it you can start it there is an argument to be made for starting
05:43second in overtime because you know what you need and it actually worked out in their favor like
05:47that like okay they right did it right they knew what they needed score a touchdown here i i think
05:52it is a tough ass though to say fourth and eight you still had three and a half minutes and
05:55you say
05:55look if we stop them we're getting the ball back and we're going to win the game i understand it's
06:00patrick mahomes but man fourth and eight you're almost like the chances of converting the fourth and
06:04eight i think are a lot less than you kicking a field goal maybe stopping them and getting the ball
06:10back i don't know it's it's it's tough but to give mahomes the ball what you're saying is
06:14if we're both the same after the after one possession we're giving him the ball to win the
06:19game with only needing a field goal yeah the the rest of that point is so fourth and eight is
06:26fourth
06:26and eight but you're probably never winning the game you're only tying is almost definitely your best
06:32there could be a turnover but when kansas city's faced with that if they you know you kick the field
06:38goal and they get the ball again in a tie i mean indianapolis would have to get a real break
06:43to win the game from there they're just probably yeah but the tie there's such a stigma about ties
06:49like nobody ever wants to tie and i feel like for the colts in that spot that would have been
06:53pretty
06:53good yeah that's right to go there and get get a point if you will but good road game coaches

07:52team that only allowed the cincinnati bangles high-flying offense to get to 20. the bad news is the bills
07:58gave up houston they had they had five sacks on burrow i mean they did get after him a little
08:04bit right so i just think that cincinnati's playing really good really good football right now and look
08:10at their schedule guys if you're if you're a bangles fan you're looking at that schedule and
08:15you are already starting to think about boy burrow stays healthy we have a legit shot at the one seed
08:19that's kind of always been sitting there with their schedule this year and now they go to pittsburgh
08:25and people are going to want to see them win that game for this you know and uh maybe then
08:31we get
08:31to baltimore in the middle of the season and what is baltimore that's a a bad loss for the ravens
08:36but
08:36it happens every year they all they just lose that game every year is a big favorite with a big
08:41lead
08:41for whatever it wasn't john harbaugh i guess exclusively that was responsible for that just
08:47remember they lost to the raiders a couple years ago like that lost the raiders they lost to the colts
08:51they lost the browns they've lost these games yes like all the time i tweeted about the touchdown
08:56that gave new orleans the lead and i don't know this no proving it right but no way does he

09:03but then you see his helmet get almost ripped off his head on a face mask that wasn't called either
09:08right and my prediction watching them review that play was they're just going to give it to him because

10:04first to arizona and then to the raiders what's going on there you think which by the way good tie

10:12because they were also part of my takeaways and what my takeaway from them was boy i don't know
10:18if this harbaugh mcdaniel thing is going to last it could be like earlier rather than later before
10:21they get a divorce it just feels like it's not a good match and it feels like harbaugh is this

10:29old school guy who you know he has a certain way he wants to win yet he's got justin herbert
10:34there and
10:34he brings in mcdaniel to win this old school running the football come on let's go that's what you do
10:40that's what you're known for and they don't have the type of offensive line to run the football the
10:46way they want mcdaniel can't do what he wants i don't really love their weapons at wide receiver
10:51they're kind of stuck in the mud right now at on offense and it just feels like it's going nowhere
10:56and it's weird because the chargers are supposed to be this really talented team for the last four
11:02five years that everybody's picking and it just always seems to happen quite like this maybe or
11:07differently later in the season but they can't seem to get out of their own way i don't know
11:12what's going on other than that's what i can point to i think which is they they it feels to
11:17me like
11:17they don't have the right mix of what you need to win in the national football league when it comes
11:22to the coaching staff and philosophy sal capaccio on the western hotline bills and chargers sunday
11:29at one uh so what's this weekend what was the weekend for the bills were they gone brady said
11:35last week that wednesday would be their next practice so there's not going to be any sort of
11:40news right until then correct so while there is a little bit of news over the weekend um and i

11:45say this about the chargers i mean the chargers are coming in here as a very very desperate team
11:48and i mean circumstantially a lot is against them they're a west coast team coming east playing an early
11:53game that's always a tough deal if you look at the numbers on that almost it's really tough to win
11:58um regardless of who you are the record isn't very good that being said a very desperate team
12:03and they're going to throw everything they can at the bills um the bills have 10 days to sit back
12:08and
12:08wait for them get get healthy as they can and that's the big news which is over the weekend
12:13ian rapoport reported that dj moore and at oliver are both considered day-to-day and the dj moore is
12:19going
12:20to practice on wednesday and then they'll see where it goes so looks like they you know avoided anything
12:25serious with either guy but we'll see what happens with dj moore and like i said to you guys the
12:29other
12:30day even if dj moore doesn't play you have 10 days to figure it out if you're the bills you
12:34you can
12:34come up with a plan i'm sure they have an understanding right now of what they think
12:39might happen between now and sunday and they'll come up with a plan to you know whether that's
12:43skylar bell or if it's dj moore himself um but yeah that was the news this weekend and then
12:48brady did tell us that ty johnson and tj sanders were both close to playing last sunday
12:52so i would assume that you know you can expect both of them to be ready by next sunday
12:56what would you do if no dj moore would you just put i mean coleman in his spot and leave

13:04would you bring i mean would you bring someone up would it be bell just taking certain reps
13:09is there any other good idea no i would just have skylar bell active and you just basically play with
13:16the group you have that you do have greg dorch that available that you can bring up for one more
13:21elevation uh for returns and you can make him a part of your offense as well he's been here for
13:26a little while now you know he'll understand a little more so maybe you sprinkle him in there
13:30i think because you have josh allen and the way these tight ends are playing right now and
13:34um you know the way they can run the ball i don't think that you have to really change too
13:39much i think
13:40you can still be very efficient on offense if you just kind of replace dj moore with skylar bell and
13:46then maybe keon coleman has a little bit of a different role and kalisakir has a little bit of a
13:50different role is shavers in the picture at all he's on the pup list right so is he somebody that
13:56we can talk about or is he just way over there like not ready no not ready i mean he
14:03has to start
14:04practicing first that hasn't even happened so you know he hasn't he hasn't been on the football field
14:09since last january so once he starts practicing then you know we can start talking about that um then
14:16they've taken him off the the pup list i think then there's some roster things they have to do
14:20but they'd give him he has time they have to put him on the 53 right away um but i
14:23don't i don't see
14:24that happening anytime soon um look i think this game for me and like when i look at it right

14:30this game isn't going to be about the bills offense should be fine they have josh allen what they're
14:34doing is fine i need the bills defense to be really good in this game because i want to see

14:41beat a team that looks like they can't do much right now yeah and that's the chargers i think
14:46the chargers have talent but they've scored a total of 28 points against the cardinals and raiders
14:50like to me the bills defense this is a game for them to show that they can go out there
14:56and beat
14:56a team and put their foot down on them when it's needed just like that this game becomes that because
15:02the chargers in two games yeah the chargers look inept and houston could not move the ball and score
15:09any points against the bangles and they had no trouble against you so like you know go figure
15:14like the the side of the ball that we thought would be maybe the the you know the most growing
15:19pains would be evident there it is and so you know the fact that they've managed to get to two
15:24and oh
15:24while that is still the case is you know to their offense's credit uh but yeah i mean as much
15:30as
15:30we've enjoyed i certainly have like russo's got four sacks and walker is looking like a menace
15:36um so they've they've had moments that have been very impactful but the overall is 61 points in two
15:42games i mean that's not there's no way that's sustainable yeah if the chargers come here and
15:49score 30 points i mean i guess it depends on how it happens you could have give them short fields
15:55because of turnovers and stuff but you know we're going to be having discussions about like what really
16:00is going on with this defense and where they can go and what they are able to do or not
16:04able to do
16:04so i'm that that's the side of the ball that i'm more interested in this week because even if the
16:10bills offense has a dud right if the bills offense goes out there and just sunday doesn't play well
16:13i am not concerned i'm not going to come here on monday and go oh my god i'm concerned about
16:17the
16:17offense they have josh allen they'll be fine that happens once in a while but this defense needs to
16:22show that it can be um a you know a championship contender defense to complement the offense
16:29what a buster game this is absolutely all caps buster i mean who who would put money on the
16:35charges right now at buffalo even sales point about west coast east coast i mean just who who would be
16:42brave enough to do that somebody will it's a little scary there'll be some survivor picks right this
16:47week oh yeah they will i don't know the rest of the schedule well enough yet but probably i mean
16:52it's only seven though at this point it's going up from four to seven but just um who's going to

16:57to take the charger side the way they look the way the bills have looked through two games all right
