Escudero clarifies: VP Sara not liable for company’s SEC filing

Presiding Officer Francis “Chiz” Escudero asked Witness Gerardo Del Rosario who would be liable if a shareholder’s name does not appear in a company’s documents submitted to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).  Del Rosario said the company’s management would be liable for the report, not the Vice President, since she was not the one who prepared or submitted the company’s records.  Escudero noted that any liability related to Vice President Sara Duterte’s declaration of the company in her Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN) would be a separate matter from the company’s SEC filings.
