00:09Excuse me. It's the New Testament
00:14version. New Testament with the Joseph Smith translation, the
00:19founder of the Latter-day Saints. Excuse me. Included
00:23the complete New Testament text and parallel harmony
00:28of the four Gospels. And it was compiled by Stephen
00:32J. Hite and Julia M. Hite. I just
00:35got this. It's right here. I haven't had a chance
00:40to look at it yet, but I'm going to. I'm going to look at this.
00:44Check it out. I got some other research I'm doing
00:48right now. Looking at some other theological
00:50and Christology books. But I'm going to get into this real soon.
00:55And I'm going to come back. I'm going to come back and I'm going to give you my
00:59opinion on it. I've looked, you know, some of the YouTube videos I looked up about it
01:06are, you know, kind of revealing themselves. But I have to actually get into it and
01:11look at it myself and compare it and give my complete, you know, my honest opinion
01:17about it and what I think about it.
01:21Being a former Mormon myself, I always heard about this, but I never came about getting
01:28a copy or anything. But I've heard other people talk about it. If you talk to Mormons,
01:35they love it, but I don't think that, to my knowledge today, they don't, they don't, this
01:40ain't their preferred Bible version. There's still the King James version. But anyways, they
01:48don't, yeah, they don't, they don't, they don't down it or diss it. They don't say anything
01:53bad about it because it came from the prophet and it's inspired and everything. But I, I just
02:00got to, I got to look it up myself. I got to check it out. It's going to take a
02:03long
02:03time. Trust me. Uh, here's what, here's what the harmony part looks like right here. Stuff
02:10like that. Uh, and what I think in the beginning, I think it's got a, of course, like everything
02:19else, it's got sort of like what you'd call a introduction. Well, it's got dedication here
02:24and then it's got, uh, pages are sticking, of course. Uh, yeah, you got the introduction
02:29here, what it's about. Maybe when Joseph, around what time Joseph, uh, actually did the translation
02:37with, you know, with who, I'm sure he had a scribe with him. Somebody, he's a right hand
02:41man. Could have been, uh, could have been Sidney Rigdon. It could have been, uh, Oliver Cowdery,
02:47one of them guys. Uh, yeah, it says right here. It's sort of the chronology of Joseph Smith's
02:54translation, but I'll, uh, you know, like I said, when I get into it and I'll let, I'll
03:02let you know, I'll get back on. Here's a table of contents. Of course, there's a table of contents
03:07right there. And I kind of like this book because it's, it's, it's really big. You can lay it
03:14down on the table. You can lay it down on the table and it, uh, basically flatten out where
03:21the pages ain't just going to flip back around if you don't have your hands on them. But,
03:26uh, it's got down here, it's got little, uh, uh, footnotes. I just noticed that there's
03:35like little footnotes down here too. So that's good. Uh, in the back, it's got Bibli, uh, Bibliography,
03:43Raymond Brown, F.F. Bruce. So it's got, uh, uh, uh, chapter and verse index in this appendix
03:55has got spelling variations in the Joseph Smith translation right here. If you can see that,
04:04but yeah, I'll be interested. I can't wait to dig into this, uh, because I, you know,
04:11I love collecting different Bible translations, even if I agree with them or not. Like, like
04:17I got a, I think I even did a Jehovah's witness, uh, book, uh, Bible review, the translation,
04:25and I'm not for that or anything, but I still got it, you know, references, things like that,
04:30you know, to prove, prove, you know, to me to prove, you know, they met, they misrepresented
04:36this, you know, like, like a scripture says, do not add, do not subtract stuff like that.
04:41Deuteronomy and, uh, revelation, I believe in it. Yeah. Revelation. But, uh, yeah, I just
04:47wanted to share this with you and I will be back eventually to let you know what I think
04:53about this book, this, this translation. But I, like I said, if you ask Mormons, they'll
04:59all jump on the bandwagon and say, he can, he can, he can never, he can never, he's, you
05:05know, he can, he can do no wrong because he is the prophet inspired by Yahweh. But then
05:12you look on YouTube at other ones and they compare this, you know, this translation or
05:17whatever, the new revised or the King James or whatever they do and say, no, he's got
05:21it wrong. Look at this, look at that. And I just got to get in there myself and look at
05:25it and study it and see it for, see for myself. That's what I want to do. But anyways, that's
05:31all I want to say right now. And I'll be back with this eventually, probably.
05:35Within months or maybe a year, I don't know. But anyways, that's all I have to say right
