00:00In this video, I will show you how to open Chrome in guest mode.

00:04So I'll be showing you how to use Chrome guest mode to browse the internet without

00:08using your main Chrome profile.

00:10Of course, this can be useful when someone else needs to use your computer or when you

00:14want to keep their browsing separate from your personal Chrome profile.

00:26So to do this, all you need to do from your desktop is come down to your search box in

00:31the taskbar at the bottom, type Chrome into your search box and then open up Google Chrome

00:36underneath best match.

00:37Now, when you do this, it's going to ask who's using Chrome.

00:40And if you look in the bottom left hand corner, you can see we got the option for guest mode

00:44down here, give that a click.

00:45And as you can see, it's going to open a window where it says you're browsing as a guest.

00:50So this means that pages you view in this window will not appear in the browser history and

00:54they won't leave other traces like for example, cookies on the computer after you,

00:58after you close all open guest windows.

01:01The only exception to this is if you do download any files or things like that,

01:04if you download anything, that's of course going to be safe to the computer.

01:08So that's how to open Chrome in guest mode.
