00:00In this video I will show you how to enable sleep mode on Windows 11. To get started from your
00:06desktop what you want to do is come down to your search box in the task bar at the bottom.
00:11In the
00:11search box you want to type settings and then open up your settings underneath best match.
00:16Once you've done that come over to the menu on the left hand side and click onto system and in
00:22your system settings you want to click onto power and battery. Then what you want to do from this
00:27screen you're going to see an option for screen sleep and hibernate timeouts. Click the small arrow
00:32to expand this and then what you can do is choose your sleep settings from here. So because I'm on
00:37laptop I've got options when I'm plugged in and when I'm just running off the laptop battery but you can
00:43see there's an option to turn your screen off and you can click onto the drop down box and choose
00:47from
00:48any of these time slots here. So for example if I set it to five minutes then if I've not
00:53used my PC or
00:54laptop for five minutes the screen's going to turn off and you can see there's an option to make your
00:59device sleep. So again click onto the drop down box and what I'm going to do is set this to
01:0315 minutes
01:04which means that after 15 minutes if I'm not on my laptop and there's no activity my laptop is going
01:10to enter sleep mode. So that's how to enable sleep mode on Windows 11. Thanks for watching and I will
01:16see
01:16you in the next video.
