00:00In this video I will show you how to enable Steam overlay. To get started open up Steam and log
00:07into
00:07your account and once you've done that what you want to do is come and click on Steam up in
00:11the
00:11top left hand corner and from this menu that comes up you want to come down and click on to
00:16settings. Now once you're in your settings come over to the menu on the left hand side and select
00:21the in-game option and once you've done that if you look at the top of this screen you can
00:26see a
00:26section about the Steam overlay and you can see an option to enable the Steam overlay whilst in
00:31game. So you want to make sure you've got this turned on by clicking the switch over here and to
00:35actually use this you need to find the overlay shortcut keys. So you can see mine is set to
00:40shift and tab which means when I'm playing a game on Steam if I hold down shift and press tab
00:45on my
00:45keyboard that's going to display the Steam overlay. Now of course what you can do is click into the box
00:51and you can change this to a different shortcut key so you can enter that into here and click confirm
00:56and that is how to enable the Steam overlay. Thanks for watching and I'll see you in the next video.
