00:00In this video, I will show you how to disable Windows Security in Windows 11.
00:06Now, there's two things you need to do to disable Windows Security.
00:09So the first thing you're going to want to do from your desktop is come down to your search box
00:13in the taskbar at the bottom.
00:15And in here, you want to type Windows Security.
00:18Once you've done that, open up Windows Security underneath Best Match.
00:21And once that's opened, what you want to do is click onto Virus and Threat Protection.
00:26What you then want to do is come down to Virus and Threat Protection Settings and click the link here
00:31to Manage Settings.
00:33Now, on the next screen, you're going to see an option for Real-Time Protection.
00:36Turn this off and just click Yes on the pop-up that comes up.
00:40And as you can see, that's going to turn off Windows Security.
00:43Now, you also want to do this with your Windows Defender Firewall if you want to completely disable your Windows
00:48Security.
00:49So to do that, what you want to do is come back down to your search box.
00:52And this time, you want to type Defender Firewall and then open up Windows Defender Firewall underneath Best Match.
00:59Now, once you've done that, you want to come over to the left-hand side and click here where it
01:02says turn Windows Defender Firewall on or off.
01:05And then what you want to do is turn off Windows Defender Firewall for both private network settings and public
01:10network settings.
01:11Once you've done that, come down and click OK to apply the changes and that's going to disable Windows Security
01:17on your Windows 11 computer or laptop.
01:20So that's how to disable Windows Security in Windows 11.
