00:07So I was walking through my neighborhood and I saw this man walking his dog and a crow landed on
00:13his head.
00:14I was like, oh my goodness, how did you do this?
00:18And he said that he put peanuts in his hoodie and that the crows would land on his head and
00:25take the peanuts out of the beanie.
00:26I was like, okay, that sounds cool. I want to try that.
00:32It's officially happened. A crow has landed on my head.
00:37He only stayed for a minute, but he did it.
00:40It turned into a little bit of an obsession.
00:43Naturally.
00:44These cashews bring all the crows to the yard.
00:48They're very quirky and interesting. You know, they do have unique behaviors.
00:53The first crow that I really befriended, his name is Russell.

00:57He brings me gifts.

01:19I turned 65 in February and I was lamenting to friends that when you pass a certain age, especially if

01:47I don't want to anthropomorphize them, but they do seem to enjoy the connection with me as much as I
01:53enjoy it with them.
01:54You just landed on my head. I'm so excited.
01:56The biggest thing that I've learned is that you can find the natural world if that is what you seek.
02:03And I encourage everybody to connect with nature.
02:07The universe is trying to connect with us.
02:09And I don't think there's any downside to becoming more aware of nature and honoring that.
