00:00And now we have more breaking news coming in. This is about the controversy which is happening
00:04over the ECI. Now, ECI took a question from India Today on Form 6. There was no answer about
00:10why the audit was not done when India Today asked the EC and then EC's objection was not
00:16answered about Form 6 which is to be filled by new voters. The ECI said that ERO.net provides
00:24addition and deletion rights to the ERO when notices are served and if a particular person
00:29is found to be ineligible, the ERO has to click on Form 7 for deletion. However, once the
00:35ERO clicks on Form 7 for deletion, there is no rollback provision and that is what happened
00:40in Goa's case. However, now when India Today asked them about Form 6 which is now also in
00:46question because remember if we look at the particular case that has been coming from Goa
00:50is also of the voters who were deleted from the final roll that was made and now the ECI
00:57has not answered any of these questions that India Today had posed to the EC. In fact,
01:03they are now going on to say that there is a Form 7 which has to be filled in case
01:07of
01:08deletion and there was some sort of a mix-up that happened on that side. But this is the
01:14no response that we got when we asked EC's questions. For more on that, we have Sahil Joshi
01:19joining us. Sahil, so India Today asked EC about the questions over the alleged controversies,
01:25especially when it comes to Form 6 that has to be filled in for the voters and of course
01:29when it comes to Goa and we see that more than about 97 names were not part of the final
01:34roll call. So what was the kind of response that you also got from EC and what really happened
01:39in the press conference. So we'll wait to connect with Sahil for that. But Sahil, we're getting
01:55in news of how over Form 6 ECI dugged India Today's questions when we asked them about particularly
02:02Form 6 and why was it modified for new voters, especially the provisions, the new questions
02:07that were added to Form 6 now that new voters would have to fill. So let me go back to

02:14Sahil, what was the response from the EC that you got when you asked them about these controversies
02:19that are now surfacing, especially over Form 6 and also about the case that's happening in
02:24Goa where we saw 97 names being deleted.
02:43We'll wait for Sahil to join us back in. But India Today posed these questions to the ECI
02:50specifically about Form 6 because there were certain questions which were added and specifically
02:54those questions were relating to SIR where a person had to prove that their parents were part
03:00of the SIR role and they had to make a proof about that. And there was also certain objections which
03:07were raised from the other two members of the ECI. Despite all of that, we saw that these new
03:12questions were added to the Form 6 which is to be filled by the new voters. Now when objections were
03:19raised, India Today also asked them the question but did not get any response.
