00:00Hey you guys!
00:01What's up you guys?
00:03How you feeling?
00:05Yeah! Thank you for bailing
00:08on your jobs or school today.
00:10Yeah!
00:11How many bailed on the job?
00:14How many don't have jobs?
00:17Kind of about the same.
00:20Well you guys know
00:21they're obviously an amazing band.
00:23Is it your first time getting to see these guys for anybody today?
00:26Yeah. Most.
00:27Same here. You know they got their new album
00:29coming out October 2nd. We're gonna talk all about it.
00:32So, let's do it.
00:33Let's do it. Dexter and the Moon Rocks!
00:35Dexter and the Moon Rocks!
00:37Woo!
00:48What's up guys?
00:50Hello. Sorry we're still finding our seating.
00:54Welcome.
00:57That's an Epic Hooters shirt, I gotta say.
01:00Thanks.
01:00Yeah.
01:01Big NASCAR guys.
01:02Oh, okay, okay.
01:03There we go.
01:04Name three drivers.
01:05Welcome, you guys.
01:06How does it feel just about to put out your first full length album?
01:10Exciting.
01:10Scary.
01:11I'm terrified.
01:13How long has it been ready?
01:15Like you could have released it?
01:16Eight years.
01:17Years.
01:18Eight years.
01:19Probably end of June or early July.
01:21Yeah, we went into this year being like, we're only gonna release singles unless we have
01:27the biggest song ever, which isn't gonna happen.
01:30And then we got two songs in and we went, fuck, we gotta go make an album.
01:34Uh, so we did that.
01:37Um, we had, so like Freakin' Out came out March 11th.
01:40Um, and then we had to tour all of April.
01:42And we were supposed to have May off with our wives.
01:44We didn't.
01:45We did not.
01:46Uh, tragically.
01:47Do wives love that?
01:48No.
01:48They don't.
01:49Um, but, we may be getting a house, you know?
01:54Yeah.
01:54Finally moving out of like apartments.
01:56And it's like, oh cool, the band's doing better.
01:57And we don't have to rent anymore.
01:59So, we'll see what happens, but who knows.
02:01Speaking of, let's talk about the jobs that you guys had before you got to be a band.
02:06Mm-hmm.
02:06Each of you tell us which job you had.
02:09I was a kid's baseball coach.
02:11Yeah.
02:11Wait, hold on.
02:12Did you drop out of law school?
02:14I did drop out of law school, yes.
02:15Oh, wow.
02:15But I was coaching baseball at the same time.
02:17Gotcha.
02:17I was mostly unemployed.
02:20Nice.
02:21Hell yeah.
02:22You've got friends in the crowd.
02:24Yeah.
02:26I was an oil field worker.
02:28Oil field worker.
02:29Yep.
02:30Hard work.
02:30Somebody did really hard work.
02:32Yeah, really.
02:32Both them two.
02:34Eh, it was alright.
02:35You can't bend your knees.
02:37I did concrete with my father-in-law for like a year and a half.
02:40Not like pouring slabs, but like staining concrete and such.
02:44What is, I saw something about that.
02:46What is concrete decoration?
02:48Concrete surface decorator?
02:49Yeah, what?
02:50Yeah.
02:50So you come into a room where the concrete looks like dog shit and you make it look pretty.
02:55Nice.
02:55You put like designs in it.
02:56Stain it or stamp it and such.
02:58No kidding.
02:59That's a job?
03:00It's big in Texas.
03:01Yeah.
03:02It's a big deal.
03:02We Texans love our concrete.
03:04I fucking hate concrete.
03:06Well, and that's definitely something that we want to talk to you guys about is where
03:10you're from.
03:11So you're technically from Throckmorton County.
03:13Is that right?
03:14Yeah.
03:14Like the Abilene area.
03:16It's just, it's so tiny.
03:17There's like a town, it's a town of 700 people.
03:19Abilene is the closest actual place that someone might have heard of before to us.
03:24Okay.
03:24So we just say that.
03:25So you just refer to that.
03:26I think there's more people in the two blocks we're in than are in Abilene.
03:31Shit, there's room.
03:32Wow.
03:32Yeah.
03:33What's the music scene like in Abilene?
03:36Nothing.
03:36Nothing.
03:36You play at a bar where the owner asks you to, it's not even a bar, it's a fucking shack
03:42where the owner asks you to bring sound and then yells at you because it sounds like
03:46shit.
03:46He cried.
03:48He shed an actual tear because he was so mad at us.
03:50He pulled us into the back room.
03:52And first off, nobody ever goes to this fucking bar.
03:55We played.
03:57There were like 60 people in there.
03:58It was shoulder to shoulder and he pulled us aside and he was like, it sounds terrible.
04:02And I was like, what the fuck do you want me to do?
04:04It's a good thing it's a back house.
04:05It's your fault, dude.
04:06You made us bring the sound system.
04:09What are you talking about?
04:10There's people in here because of us.
04:12That was their best night of the year.
04:14Yeah.
04:14So how did you guys sort of meet each other and then get exposed into the music scene
04:20and kind of start jamming out?
04:22So me and James have been best friends since we were like 12 when we graduated together
04:27and such.
04:28Me and Ty are cousins.
04:29I've known him since I've been a sentient being.
04:32And then Fox moved or was going to college in Abilene when we were kind of getting going.
04:37So we just kind of found him online.
04:40And this, it's like Tinder for musicians.
04:42We won't say the name of it because it's a horrible fucking website.
04:44They won't give us money.
04:45I don't want their money.
04:46It's a gross website.
04:47But what was the rest of that question?
04:50I'm sorry.
04:51Well, just how you started coming together and working on music.
04:55So James barely played guitar in high school, didn't sing, randomly sent me one of the best
05:01songs I've still heard in my entire life today and said, let's start a band essentially.
05:05So I didn't go to class for the rest of the semester.
05:07Lied to my parents, told them I was passing, and then came home and surprised them that
05:11I was dropping out of school to be in a band with James.
05:14Hell yeah.
05:14Parents love that.
05:15Love it.
05:16They did.
05:17They did.
05:18Good thing it's working out.
05:19Ty was not a bass player.
05:21We called him and said, buy a bass and learn bass.
05:23What?
05:23And we had a show like a week later.
05:25It was not good.
05:26Oh my God.
05:27For any of us.
05:28Didn't he get your bass from Walmart or something?
05:32Yes.
05:32It was a starter pack.
05:33Yeah.
05:34He still has it.
05:34He's actually, he's using that bass today.
05:37The good old Walmart bass coming through.
05:39The first bass he ever bought.
05:39Have you learned on YouTube, I assume?
05:42No.
05:43How did you learn?
05:43We had our shows.
05:44Just figuring it out.
05:46The show's live.
05:46Yeah.
05:47That's great for the other three guys.
05:49We loved it.
05:50I mean, the shows that they were, that we were playing.
05:55I mean-
05:55Shows is generous.
05:57Shows is, yeah.
05:58Three people, we played, we got paid $400 to play a bar in Lockhart, Texas.
06:04Which, don't bother looking it up.
06:05It's, it doesn't exist.
06:08And I think there were three-
06:10It's just the bartender.
06:10There were three people in there.
06:11There was a bartender and then two of our girlfriends.
06:14And that was it.
06:15That was it.
06:15Totally.
06:16That was it.
06:16And we were kind of like, all right, we're just going to practice.
06:18And then they were like, you guys can fucking leave early.
06:20We want to go home.
06:21And we were like-
06:21We've also played to a venue with zero people.
06:25People.
06:25All the workers were inside.
06:27And there was no one outside.
06:28Was that the only deal, Dan?
06:29It was literally-
06:29This might have been even before you.
06:31Why would you play that?
06:33Money.
06:33Money.
06:34We also just practiced there.
06:36Yeah, yeah, yeah.
06:36You just look at it as-
06:38There was a lot of that going on for a long time.
06:40Yeah.
06:40I've heard a lot of band stories about starting small and I've never heard anyone that said
06:45they played for no one.
06:46Oh yeah.
06:46Multiple times.
06:47A lot.
06:48A lot.
06:49We crush.
06:50So things really started to change for you guys when you put out Couch, which was about
06:55five years ago now, right?
06:56Or 2021.
06:57Five years ago, yeah.
06:58Yeah.
06:59So, and then you just decided, hey, let's throw this up on TikTok.
07:03And then things really started to sort of hit.
07:06Yeah.
07:07I mean, so it was very interesting.
07:09So they grinded a lot more than I did because when they dropped out, they did the whole like,
07:16we're going to go be a country band because that's kind of what you have to do in the
07:19Texas music scene because nobody's going to be like, Alice in Chains covers.
07:22Yeah.
07:24They want to hear Brooks and Dunn and shit, which Brooks and Dunn is great.
07:32And so they had just changed from being a country band whose name I will not mention
07:39into being Dexter and the Moon Rocks.
07:40They recorded Couch off of an iPhone, like an Isotope Spire Studios.
07:47Yep.
07:47It's a thing that runs off your phone.
07:48It was like 200 bucks.
07:50He played the drums in Couch on a keyboard.
07:52They are not real drums.
07:53It's like keyboard MIDI drums.
07:56Wow.
07:56So it's basically an 8-track recorder.
07:58Oh, showbiz, huh?
07:59You run on a phone.
08:00Yeah, yeah, yeah.
08:01And so then they put that out.
08:03And then I joined like two months later.
08:07They put the self-titled out.
08:09And then it was kind of just like, okay, well, let's try to fucking be a band.
08:13And then...
08:14What group?
08:15Was there a car enthusiast group that found Couch?
08:17That's what started all of this shit.
08:19The side of the...
08:20Car Talk.
08:21Car Talk.
08:21A very niche side of TikTok was like, we're just going to show our sick-ass cars off with
08:26just like Couch.
08:26With this sad-ass song.
08:27With that song.
08:28And they would put your song underneath all of them.
08:30Yeah.
08:31And that kind of started it.
08:32And it was like, okay, maybe we can do this.
08:34And then we recorded a few more songs all in Ty's Double Wide off of an iPhone.
08:40They're still out.
08:41You can still hear those songs, unfortunately.
08:43Did you record the album that's coming out October 2nd in a Double Wide on an iPhone?
08:49No.
08:49Unfortunately not.
08:50Did you do it in the Double Wide though?
08:52No.
08:53Okay.
08:54Okay.
08:55We went to a real studio.
08:56Okay.
08:57Because I saw videos and I was like, dang, it's cramped in there.
09:00But it's impressive what you guys were able to pump out, you know, with the Donkey Flats EP
09:04and that little Double Wide.
09:06I think it's a testament to like just how much Ryan and Ty have grown as just like musicians
09:14and just figuring out, because that's what it was.
09:17It was just them just watching YouTube videos and then being like, this is how we're going
09:20to fucking do it.
09:21Or like when we're recording with like an actual studio is just annoying the shit out
09:25of the producer and engineer with questions.
09:27And they were always friendly enough to answer.
09:29Yeah.
09:29So we just took in as much as we could.
09:31Chad GBT helped you out with a little drum.
09:33No.
09:34Fuck AI.
09:35Other than the drums, which we're ashamed of.
09:38No.
09:38Fuck that fucking bullshit.
09:40Fuck AI.
09:41Yes.
09:42That seems to be a pretty common refrain these days.
09:46The new album is called Friends That I Don't Like.
09:49Yes.
09:50And there's not a song called that.
09:52Correct.
09:52It's in the lyrics of It's A Lot, right?
09:55Yes.
09:55That is correct.
09:56And It's A Lot is a song about what touring and how crazy your lives have become?
10:01Absolutely.
10:02It's about being a lot.
10:03That's what that song's about.
10:04Do you think any of the friends are going to know that it's about them?
10:08Yep.
10:08They know so.
10:08They know?
10:09They know.
10:09Okay.
10:09Good.
10:10I hope every single one of them knows.
10:12I do too.
10:13I do too.
10:13You want to give us any names?
10:15Nah.
10:15They know.
10:16I mean, if you wish.
10:18Just call me fat from high school.
10:21Something that I really love and appreciate about you guys, because I've been in recovery
10:24for over 10 years now.
10:26Congratulations.
10:27And thank you very much.
10:29And you definitely never shy away from the tough subjects and talking about addiction
10:33and mental health.
10:34And there is a song on the new album that's called 12 Steps that I really love.
10:40So, is it important for you guys to share about these struggles and kind of let people
10:46know, hey, we're going through it.
10:47You might be going through it.
10:49Yeah.
10:50I think we just want everyone to know everyone's human.
10:53And that's such a cringy cliche thing to say, but it's true.
10:57And just because we're on stage playing music doesn't mean we're not just like them dealing
11:01with, you know, in here or physical bullshit that we all have to deal with.
11:05Yeah.
11:06Yeah.
11:06I think it's important, too, that it's like we're not.
11:09I think it's, I think our superpower is the fact that we came from such a small town, so
11:14we only had us to rely on and you couldn't be.
11:17It wasn't like, oh man, the band down the street is doing this and they just played the
11:22Kia Forum.
11:23We got to copy what they're doing or whatever.
11:25I think it was just kind of like, nope, this is it.
11:27You either like it or you don't.
11:28We don't care.
11:29And I think we've always wanted to be honest and just be ourselves.
11:33I know.
11:34I'm sorry.
11:35Super cliche.
11:36But I think that's always been the plan and that's how we ended up here and done this
11:41because I think a lot of people have whispered in our ears and being like, but what if you
11:44put a synth?
11:45What if you changed everything that worked?
11:47What if you tried auto-tune?
11:49Right.
11:49I'm going to punch you in the face.
11:51How about that?
11:52Yeah, and you guys don't like writing with other songwriters.
11:55You like to just lock in, do it all yourselves together.
11:58Very collaborative.
11:59That is what we have, yeah.
12:01I think it is a, if you notice, everybody on every song gets a writing credit no matter
12:06how many.
12:06I saw that.
12:07I think it's just something that it's like, we don't really care where the idea comes
12:12from as long as it's good.
12:13As long as it works.
12:14As long as it works.
12:15And I think we're very open and honest with each other in communicating.
12:19And the only four people that know, or the only people that know how to make a Dexter
12:24and the Moon Rocks song are the four people in Dexter and the Moon Rocks.
12:26And that's kind of it.
12:27Yeah.
12:27So we, I think we like to take, thank you.
12:30I think we like to take stuff from other writers.
12:33Like we're not opposed, like the focus track for this album was a song called Why Don't
12:37You Say So with the very lovely Avery Anna on it.
12:40And that chorus got sent to us.
12:43It was a little bit different and had some different.
12:45Way different.
12:46Yeah.
12:46It's like an Oliver Tree song almost.
12:48Oh, okay.
12:48Oh, wow.
12:48When they sent it to us, yeah.
12:49And we'll kind of be like, oh, that's cool.
12:51Let's take that and then do our own thing instead of being like, all right, now we have
12:55to sit in the room with the person who like made a song and then be, and then like have
13:01to look at them.
13:01Cap dance around.
13:02Yeah.
13:02Be like, okay, this idea is really cool.
13:05The other seven you have aren't.
13:07So we can kind of just pick and choose and it makes it easier.
13:10All right, talking about songwriting, that brings up true or false.
13:13You find stuff on the internet, you never know.
13:15Okay.
13:15Let's hear it.
13:18Someone's parents entered them in a songwriting contest without him knowing.
13:24True.
13:25True.
13:26Can you elaborate a little bit about that?
13:29Yes, please.
13:29I guess I just showed them a couple songs that I had written and they forced me to do
13:35a songwriting contest.
13:37Did you really not want to do that?
13:38No, not at all.
13:40But I made it to like the finals of whatever, which isn't impressive.
13:45Or whatever.
13:45It was a terrible contest.
13:48And I lost.
13:48In hindsight, does it make you kind of, oh my God.
13:52You came in second, right?
13:53But do you think in any way it sort of sparked something that has inevitably gotten you to
13:58this spot right now?
13:59I think so.
14:01There was a dude that was starting up a recording studio that said he wanted to record me and
14:06that's why I eventually called Ryan and said, let's try it.
14:10So maybe.
14:11Maybe.
14:12So your parents did the right thing at the end of the day.
14:15Yeah.
14:15Fucking A.
14:15Yep.
14:16Yeah.
14:16They did.
14:16Hell yeah.
14:17Yeah.
14:18Is it true that you guys have a knockdown drag out fight with cheeses?
14:22Yeah.
14:23We're kind of past that.
14:24It's not a knockdown drag out.
14:25It's more like we're flees.
14:26Catch us up.
14:27We're like flees.
14:27Just like a bad ex.
14:28You know what I mean?
14:28Honestly, we just got so tired of eating them.
14:31Yeah.
14:31That fueled the hate.
14:32Let's see how bad we can fuck this whole thing up.
14:34Yeah.
14:34And we did.
14:35There was a time when you were throwing them at the audience?
14:38Long ago.
14:38There was a time when we were passing them out and stuff like that.
14:41That's very different.
14:42Which was very cool.
14:44I think we moved on to, it was a fun bit.
14:48We moved on to bigger and better things that I'm not allowed to say, but shout out Tim.
14:51I know you're in the audience fucking somewhere.
14:54Yep.
14:54There he is.
14:55Shout out Tim.
14:55Yeah, Tim.
14:56Tim gets it.
14:57He does stuff with a certain brand that we're very excited to work with, but I think that
15:01happens next year.
15:04Watch it.
15:05So.
15:05Yeah, we're on to cooler shit than Cheez-Its.
15:09Fuck you.
15:09You had your chance.
15:10You rat bastards.
15:12So there was a time when you were arguing with trying to get them to sponsor?
15:16It was not an argument.
15:16It wasn't an argument.
15:17They wouldn't respond to any of our fucking emails.
15:19Okay.
15:19To the point where you can't even tag us in their posts.
15:22Yeah, we're blocked.
15:23Our handle is blocked.
15:23Oh my God.
15:24We're blocked.
15:24If you go into the Cheez-Its Instagram right now and you say Dexter moon rocks or you comment
15:30the moon and rock emoji.
15:32It goes away.
15:32It will mute your comment and throw it away.
15:35Oh my God.
15:36You guys are showing.
15:37I don't know anyone else that's been banned from Cheez-Its.
15:40Yeah.
15:40Me neither.
15:41That's great.
15:42Yeah.
15:43But we're over it.
15:44We don't care.
15:44Hasn't done anything for you.
15:45Bigger and better things.
15:46That's right.
15:47One of you has a Fern collection?
15:50No.
15:51So that's funny.
15:51Okay.
15:53Sometimes we, I know this might be shocking, lie in interviews.
15:57Yes.
15:57A lot of bands do that.
15:58That's why we're doing true or false.
16:00Also, I love doing it because whenever the AI scrapes the interviews, if you put it in
16:05Google, it'll be like, and one of them's fucking a black belt in Taekwondo and it's
16:09like, it's not.
16:10I got, we got your bitch ass.
16:13So no, no one has a large Fern collection.
16:15No, that's false.
16:16Was that a lie of yours or just someone made it up?
16:19I don't even remember.
16:20Do we make up?
16:21We probably said that in an interview.
16:22I do not recall that one though.
16:23Oh my God.
16:24That's so good.
16:25Have you lied to us here today yet?
16:27Not yet.
16:28Not yet.
16:28It's coming.
16:29Yes.
16:29It'll be there.
16:30Okay.
16:30Later on.
16:31Did you know Ty only speaks Spanish?
16:33Wow.
16:34Impressive.
16:35Impressive.
16:36Hence no microphone.
16:38That's good.
16:39You guys are going to get that question in about a year.
16:41Yeah.
16:43What was the biggest and craziest thing that changed for you when freaking out just started to
16:49blow up?
16:49What was the moment where you just thought, oh man, our lives are about to change.
16:52We're on Fortnite right now.
16:54Dude.
16:55Yeah.
16:57That's wild.
16:57That is unfortunately the real answer.
17:00Yeah.
17:00That's not a joke.
17:01We've been playing that game for 10 years straight.
17:03So, I mean, that game is equally responsible for me dropping out of college as the band is.
17:08So the fact that the full circle it kind of worked out is embarrassingly the truth.
17:12We have a bus.
17:13That's the coolest thing in the world now.
17:16Yeah.
17:16We can actually like sleep.
17:18Our crew can actually sleep.
17:19Yeah.
17:20Our crew can sleep.
17:21We don't have to.
17:22We did some bullshit one year where we had to play a show in Nashville and then our crew
17:27drove us 15 hours to Gulf Shores, Alabama while we slept.
17:33Our crew got two hours of sleep and then we played a festival.
17:36And then we did a festival set in 118 degree weather.
17:39Oh.
17:40It was on the beach though.
17:41So we got to swim.
17:41It was the most abysmal thing of all time.
17:45And now we don't have to do that.
17:46And that's great.
17:47Hell yeah.
17:47So thank you for listening.
17:51All right.
17:52The new album comes out Friday, October 2nd.
17:55And you guys are going to be, where are you, Palladium Saturday night?
17:58Yeah.
17:58We're at the Palladium.
17:59That's a huge deal.
18:01Yeah.
18:01Very excited.
18:01First time there.
18:03It's very weird being like, oh, we just played the Troubadour, which is like tiny club.
18:07And now it's like, oh, we're going to go play the Palladium.
18:10That's insane.
18:11So, yeah.
18:12Yeah.
18:12Well, so excited and happy for all of your success, you guys.
18:15Thank you very much.
18:16It's really cool.
18:17And I can't wait to watch you play.
18:18So, should we do it?
18:19Let's do it.
18:20Yeah.
18:21Give it up for Dexter and the Moon Rocks, you guys.
18:24Welcome to the In-N-Out Burger sound space.
18:26Are you having a good time so far?
18:29Yeah.
18:29How about some music from Dexter and the Moon Rocks?
18:32Yeah.
18:33Let's do it.
18:35Let's do it.
19:28I'll decide if I'm okay or not.
19:37I'll keep it to myself and it's so hard.
19:45Like keeping up with friends that I don't like.
19:53I got stabbed again.
19:56I guess I'll twist the knife.
20:01I guess I'll twist the...
20:20I'm awake.
20:22I'm awake.
20:23But I still feel like sleeping.
20:28Are you okay?
20:31You haven't been speaking.
20:40I swear I'll listen.
20:45Well, I'm awake.
20:48But I still feel like sleep.
20:53Well, I'll decide if I'm okay or not.
21:02I'll keep it to myself and it's so hard.
21:10Well, I'm keeping up with friends that I don't like.
21:19I guess I'll twist the knife.
21:26I guess I'll twist the knife.
21:33No, I can't feel anything.
21:42No, I can't feel anything.
21:51No, I can't.
21:55No, I can't.
22:14No, I can't.
22:22This is one called If You Could Talk.
22:28I Broke a String.
22:41Tell me
22:45Are you not alright
22:50All you do is cry
22:55Ever since I left
23:01I'm sorry
23:05I hate it when I work
23:08I swear the heavens and the earth stand still
23:16For you
23:21So this is hello from Detroit
23:27Soon I'm headed to Boston
23:31All this is to you is noise
23:35I don't even see you that often
23:53Sorry
23:55I gotta pay the bills
24:01Keeping lights on making mills
24:05Just to make it through
24:12You tell me
24:16You hate that empty piece
24:20Why can't you ever stay and play
24:25Feels like you're running away
24:32So this is hello from home
24:38Isn't this what you wanted
24:42I guess I'll take you over the phone
24:47I don't need to miss you that often
25:04If you could talk
25:06Would you say
25:09Thank you for all of my problems
25:13Feels like they're never going away
25:17Looking forward to when you're calling
25:23I'm not a hello from Detroit
25:29I'm still in your head
25:31At the Boston
25:34Oh, this is to me
25:37There's no use
25:39I don't even see you that often
25:43Oh, this is to me
26:25Oh, this is to me
26:42I'm spinning on the ceiling
26:46I'm crashing out on the floor
26:49I gave you every reason
26:52To leave me begging for more
26:55I'm coming down
26:57Freaking out on the porch
27:00So darling
27:02If you wanna go
27:04Why don't you say so
27:18I'm still hard to find
27:22I guess I apologize
27:27I'm around the corner
27:33She thinks I ignore her
27:41It catches up to me
27:46Your excuses
27:49Your excuses
27:50Unrepeat
27:51Oh, I'll never get it
27:56I hope you regret it
28:05I'm spinning on the ceiling
28:08I'm crashing out on the floor
28:11I gave you every reason
28:14I gave you every reason
28:15To leave me begging for more
28:17I'm coming down
28:19Creeping out on the floor
28:21Creeping out on the floor
28:22So darling
28:23If you wanna go
28:26Why don't you say so
28:34Darling
28:35If you wanna go
28:39Darling

28:57Darling, if you want to go
29:03Darling, if you want to go
29:08I'm spinning on the ceiling
29:12I'm crashing out on the floor
29:15I gave you every reason
29:17To leave me begging for more
29:20I'm coming down, creeping out on the floor
29:25So darling, if you want to go
29:29Why don't you say so
29:34Why don't you say so
29:45Thank you

30:14Take me
30:16Oh no, another nosebleed
30:21She said to stay off the slope, please
30:24I said I swear that I'm clean
30:33Step in the wrong direction
30:38Help me
30:42Yes, I learned my lesson
30:48I'm not myself without my medicine
30:53I took so Ritalin
30:55Wasn't a little bit
30:57Nobody else would rather see me finish it
31:01I'm fucking overreared
31:04It always makes me sick
31:13I'm alone with all the things that kill me
31:20Do you even know the real me?
31:24I don't need your sympathy
31:28I don't need your sympathy
31:32Step in the wrong direction
31:37Help me

33:00Nobody else would rather see me finish it
33:04I'm fucking over it
33:07It always makes me sick

33:55In the cold, so warm me up again, the weather's coming in.
34:11Let me out, so I can get back in.
34:18I'm freaking out again.
34:29Got something in my system, see, so I ain't got to take it so far.
34:36Excuse me, I'm out of rhythm, taking pills and sleeping in a car.
35:00Breathing out, I'm forced to breathe back in.
35:05The pen is setting in.
35:14Leave me out, so I can get back in.
35:21I'm freaking out again.
35:31You've got something in my system, see, so I ain't got to take it so far.
35:39Excuse me, I'm out of rhythm, taking pills and sleeping in a car.
35:47What's the use in being home?
35:51If I'm never home, I'm on the route.
35:55Can't reach me, I'm off the code.
35:58Cause I'm all alone, I'm not home.
36:01You've got something in my system, see, so I ain't got to take it so far.
36:26Excuse me, I'm out of rhythm, taking pills and sleeping in a car.
36:33You just can't be home.
36:37Yeah, you've never been, I've always been.
36:40I just can't trust my bones.
36:45Yeah.
