00:00Former Negeri Sembilan Executive Councillor Asna Amin says he answered more than 60 questions
00:06when giving his statement to police today over the state's administrative and royal crisis.
00:12The session involved 10 former ex-co members and several other individuals
00:16at the Negeri Sembilan Islamic Religious Council Building in Seremban.
00:20They left at about 2pm, Utusan Malaysia reported.
00:23Asna, who is also Lengging Assemblyman, said he spent more than half an hour
00:28giving his statement to officers from Bukit Aman's Classified Crime Investigation Unit.
00:33Asna remarked that the process was conducted professionally
00:37and that those involved answered the questions properly.
00:40He added that many more people were expected to be called.
00:44Muntri Bursa Ismail Lassim was not present.
00:47Asna also noted that all official vehicles and state government property
00:51would be returned today following an order from the state secretary.
00:55Another former ex-co member, Searching Assemblyman Firuz Issa,
00:59said he took about two hours to provide his statement and that all questions were answered.
01:04Inspector General of Police Khalid Ismail had earlier mentioned that the 10 former ex-co members
01:10would be called to assist investigations into the crisis
01:13and did not rule out classifying the case under the Sedition Act.
01:17The 10 ex-co members had their appointments revoked on September 20th
01:21after the palace said they breached their oaths of office
01:24and pledge of allegiance to Tuankumuris, Tuankumunawir.
01:27The revocation came a week after they issued a joint statement
01:31purportedly affirming Tuankumuris' removal as state ruler.
