00:05Across the Ukrainian front lines, anti-drone nets are used to help protect people by catching
00:10drones before they reach the towns.
00:12But for wildlife passing through, these nets can become very dangerous.
00:16And that is exactly what happened here.
00:19This owl is struggling so much, there was no way she could free herself on her own.
00:23The rescuers, Valentina and Leonid, who we've covered multiple times here at the Dodo.
00:29Once again, chose to drop everything and risk their own safety in order to help her.
00:49Once free, she was in shock and remained quite still, so they rushed her to their veterinary
00:54hospital.
00:54So exactly right now we are rescued this owl from anti-drone nets, which you can see
01:02behind me.
01:03We will be bringing her to our hospital, check her there, and if everything will be successful
01:09with her, will be released here in one national reserve, which under protection.
01:38There she was given water and was closely examined, especially around her head and her wing where
01:44she had been injured.
01:45Right now, rescuers have no idea if she'll be able to return to the wild.
01:49She suffered severe head injuries that left one eye almost completely blind.
01:54So she may need to remain in their care and eventually live at their wildlife sanctuary,
01:58where they can continue looking after her.
