04:18that being said tonight we are jumping into WWE Monday Netflix Raw
04:23man I got so much to say tonight about this episode
04:25because there's some good stuff some bad stuff
04:27and some frustrating stuff right
04:28without even going into each piece
04:31I'll just say this up front two things
04:33one well actually three things
04:34one I love that they opened the show with a graphic
04:38for Pac
04:39of course they refer to him as Neville
04:41because that was his name in WWE
04:42but I really appreciated the fact that they did that
04:45what I really thought was interesting
04:47if you watch throughout the show
04:48the superstars that were wearing a armband
04:51one side would say Ben
04:53and then the side on the underarm
04:55which I thought was kind of messed up
04:56said Pac on it
04:57I love that they put Pac on the armband
04:59it was more clear when Becky Lynch was wearing hers later in the show
05:03than when Bayley had hers and others
05:04but I love that they had those armbands on
05:07I love that they were doing a tribute
05:11that's the good stuff
05:12let's go with the frustrating stuff
05:13before I get into individual segments
05:14there were 10 backstage or in ring or whatever
05:20conversation segments and only four matches
05:23this was a two and a half hour show
05:25and we got 10 segments of talking
05:29it's absolutely ridiculous
05:30it's a wrestling show
05:32like I get it
05:33I love the storyline drama as well
05:36but the ratio needs to be balanced a little more
05:39and then the matches we got
05:40some of them were good time
05:42you know what I mean
05:43in terms of how long they were given to go
05:45and whatnot
05:45but some of them were shorter
05:48and when you've got that many speaking segments
05:51you got to maximize that TV time for the matches
05:54because that's what we're tuning in for
05:55we're not tuning in for all this conversation
05:57that being said
05:58let's get into it segment by segment
05:59the show opens with the Usos and Jacob Fatu
06:01actually it opened with the graphic for PAC
06:04then from there it transitioned into a recap video
06:07about everything going on with the 946
06:08and the Usos and Jacob Fatu
06:09and then we get into the Usos and Jacob Fatu
06:12having a conversation in the back
06:14that tonight is the night
06:15they're finally going to do something
06:17about this 946 problem
06:18we've kind of been waiting for this forever
06:20and let's be honest
06:20the last 3-4 weeks
06:21we've got the same conversations
06:23every week in the back
06:25oh it's not time to run the play
06:26it's not time to run the play
06:27you know slow
06:29slow and steady
06:30and now all of a sudden
06:30we're just going to jump to super fast speed
06:32I guess
06:33it's about time
06:34you know they should have done this weeks ago
06:36because I've already soured on caring about this feud at all
06:38that's not going to stay that way
06:39at the end of the night
06:40they're going to hook me
06:40but at this point of the show
06:42opening the show with this
06:43kind of boring
06:44and I got to say this
06:46and obviously I'm going to go segment to segment
06:47but the fact that we had so many segments
06:50with the same people
06:51starts to get on my last nerve
06:53I don't need multiple 946 and Uso segments
06:57I need one
06:57maybe two if there's a match or whatever
07:00but this was all throughout the show
07:02and it's not even the most exciting thing on the show
07:04from there we get yet another
07:06our second
07:07we haven't had a match yet
07:08our second backstage segment
07:10with Javon Evans and Penta
07:11coming into the arena
07:12as they're in the back being interviewed
07:14here comes JD McDonough
07:15and Dominic Mysterio
07:16talking trash about Penta stealing Dominic's spot
07:20and this that and the other
07:21and of course this is there specifically
07:23to set up a tag team match for later in the evening
07:25it is supposedly going to be our main event
07:27I would argue that it sort of is
07:29sort of isn't
07:30we'll get to that a little bit later
07:31but again
07:32two conversational pieces
07:34and we're already a half an hour into the show
07:36between commercials and everything else
07:39it's somewhat ludicrous
07:40from there we finally get a match
07:42we get Lola Vice versus Roxanne Perez
07:44and here's my issue here
07:45it looked like they were really going to push Roxanne Perez
07:48and now she loses at Worlds Collide
07:51she loses to Lola Vice tonight
07:53and it wasn't even the most
07:55it was a very clunky match to begin with
07:58Lola Vice running the ropes
07:59was a little awkward at the beginning of the match
08:01some of the exchanges between the ladies
08:03was a little more awkward
08:04as the match went on
08:05it got a little more fluid
08:07but I was sad to say
08:09I was really surprised with the finish of the match
08:11it seemed so basic
08:12so vanilla
08:13it wasn't exciting at all
08:15you know
08:16I'm thrilled for Lola Vice
08:18but I'm kind of upset for Roxanne
08:19Roxanne's one of the most
08:21naturally gifted and talented superstars in the world
08:23and you keep calling her the prodigy
08:25the prodigy that keeps taking the fall
08:27like I don't understand that
08:28you were building her
08:30to a great opportunity
08:31to have a feud with Liv Morgan
08:33and now she's lost back-to-back matches
08:36I just
08:36I can't buy her
08:38right now as a main eventer
08:40where Liv is
08:40and that's kind of what we've been building to
08:42it's what I want to see
08:43now after the match
08:44Raquel Rodriguez comes out
08:45and she's attacking Lola Vice
08:47going to lay her out
08:48and the music hits
08:49and here comes Sol Ruka
08:50and Sol comes out
08:51and now we have
08:52all sorts of exchanges
08:53with she and Raquel Rodriguez
08:55she goes for a soul snatcher
08:58Roxanne stops that from happening
08:59and then it's a beat down
09:00on Sol Ruka
09:01more beat down
09:03pop rocks on Lola Vice
09:04all because these ladies
09:06are headed to Money in the Bank
09:07I get it
09:08and we're going to get
09:09a tag team match next week
09:11between these four
09:11and I guess that makes a lot of sense
09:13to set something up for next week
09:15but I don't know
09:16I'm just
09:16I'm tired of every single
09:18match with the Judgment Day
09:19even though the match
09:21ended clean
09:22I don't need the interference
09:24afterwards
09:24just like
09:25just go to the back
09:26man seriously
09:26if you want to do this
09:28this is how you should end
09:29one of those
09:29those vignette sections
09:31because it would
09:31be more impactful
09:33from there
09:34we get our third
09:35conversation piece
09:36of the night
09:36we get Rey Mysterio
09:37and Dragon Lee
09:38in the back
09:39talking about the match
09:39coming up tonight
09:40against Big Cass
09:41for Dragon Lee
09:43after they're talking
09:44some trash for a few seconds
09:45Dragon Lee coming off
09:46very confident
09:47here comes Cass
09:47into the picture
09:48there was a report
09:49this week that Enzo
09:50is close to signing
09:51I hope so
09:52because I need something
09:53different for Cass
09:54because you brought him back
09:56and you're basically
09:56making him look like
09:57a loser
09:58but again
09:59our third backstage segment

10:01taking place a little bit later
10:02then we get our fourth
10:04backstage segment

10:06talking about how
10:07tonight's the night
10:07nobody's safe
10:08blah blah blah
10:09it's the same promo
10:10they've been cutting
10:10for several weeks also
10:13and then we go to
10:14a commercial break
10:14we come back
10:15and another speaking section
10:17this one
10:18Obafemi coming out
10:19to the ring
10:19he has a contract
10:21in hand
10:21for a one versus one match
10:23at Money in the Bank
10:25and he's calling out
10:26Bronson Reed
10:27and I find that
10:28wildly entertaining
10:29I think it's something
10:30we need to see
10:31he's got this issue
10:32with the vision
10:33Bronson has gotten
10:34much more involved
10:35in this feud
10:36and let's be honest
10:37Bron Breaker's already
10:38tied up
10:38because he'll be
10:38at Money in the Bank
10:39so the actual
10:41Money in the Bank match
10:41so we had to do
10:42something here
10:43and Oba made a great point
10:44we can come out
10:44every week
10:44and smash each other
10:45at some point
10:46we've got to put
10:46pen to paper
10:47and make this happen
10:48they're going to do that
10:49at Money in the Bank
10:49and I actually thought
10:51Oba came across
10:51very confident
10:52but I loved
10:53Bronson Reed's
10:54Mike skills here
10:55he came across
10:56authentic
10:56it was believable
10:58he's obviously
10:59in great shape now
11:00I know we've seen
11:00some pictures
11:01but even with the
11:02sport coat on
11:02he looked amazing
11:04I'm actually really
11:05looking forward
11:05to this match
11:06I understand
11:07he's not Brock Lesnar
11:08so I'm not on that
11:08level of excitement
11:09but this definitely
11:11built my excitement
11:12for the match
11:13it's going to be great
11:13it's going to be
11:14heavy hitting
11:14and I think
11:16it's the perfect
11:19time consumer
11:20before we get
11:21you know
11:21keep kicking down
11:22the can down the pike
11:23for Roman and Oba
11:26I'm a little frustrated
11:27did we go another week
11:29with no Roman on television
11:30it's kind of ridiculous
11:31at this point
11:31so what do we got
11:331, 2, 3, 4, 5
11:34that was our 5th
11:35talking section
11:36then we get
11:36our 6th one
11:37which is Lyra Valkyria
11:39and Io Sky in the back
11:40with Adam Pearce
11:43Lyra's mad
11:44because she beat
11:45Bayley
11:45and then he's
11:46talking to Io
11:46before he talks to her
11:47and of course
11:48this sets up a match
11:49for them later
11:49in the evening
11:51so from there
11:52we actually get
11:53another match
11:53it's this far
11:55into the show
11:55all these commercial
11:56breaks
11:56all these speaking times
11:58and we finally get
11:59Dragon Lee vs Big Cass
12:00really solid match
12:02if I'm being honest
12:02I think Big Cass
12:05looked more clunky
12:05than anything
12:06but Dragon Lee
12:07man
12:07oh my goodness
12:08he is
12:11unbelievably phenomenal
12:12and I understand
12:13teaming with AJ Styles
12:15it may seem like
12:15I'm trying to be funny
12:16when I say that
12:17he is just absolutely
12:20majestic in the ring
12:21I love everything he does
12:22he ends up picking up
12:24the win in the match
12:25beating Big Cass
12:26now here's the thing
12:27Big Cass looked unstoppable
12:28the first few weeks
12:29he was in the company
12:30and now he's lost
12:31two weeks in a row
12:32to very small guys
12:34so I don't know
12:35how you could ever
12:35build him up
12:36to be an incredible
12:37championship contender
12:38because he can't
12:38beat anybody
12:39you're going to
12:40kind of need to
12:41bring Enzo in
12:42to make him a tag team
12:43just to give him
12:44an opportunity
12:44to do something
12:45of substance
12:46because at this point
12:47he's like a glorified
12:48jobber who's just
12:49really really tall
12:51from there
12:52back to the
12:52speaking segments
12:53we get our
12:55third speaking segment
12:56in the back
12:57with the Usos
12:58and Jacob Fatou
12:59again talking
13:00some trash
13:02I didn't need

13:57leading up to
13:58where we're at

13:59I guess this

14:01build some heat

14:02but it's just
14:03not working for me

14:05if you remember

14:09how frequently

14:12he's almost
14:13never there

14:15nothing's really
14:15changed
14:16so when they're

14:17like why Roman
14:18Reigns can't go
14:19away because we
14:20haven't cultivated
14:20any new big stars
14:21you can't cultivate
14:23big stars if you're
14:24never on the show
14:24to get them over
14:25that's how it
