00:00Hey, how are you?
00:05So excited to be chatting with you today. Thanks for joining us.
00:09Oh, my pleasure. How is everybody?
00:11Oh my god, everyone's excited to see you and ready for all the secrets on Taza.
00:18Well, we won't reveal all of them, but we'll get everybody going.
00:21Well, it's my job to try, so...
00:24You look great.
00:25Thank you!
00:26Yeah, you look fantastic.
00:27Thank you. Ditto, ditto, you look so cool with your glasses.
00:31Those are really handy to keep the secrets, because I'm going to try to trick you.
00:39Okay, so last week we had Jacob Vargas on the chat, a true post-mortem.
00:47And we teased a little bit that we might be seeing a little bit more of him in this episode.
00:52And so you guys shared a scene.
00:54Talk a little bit about having Jacob on, representing Montez's dead body in that barrel with all the salt.
01:04You know, it's one of those really great things, and that's why it's fun making movies.
01:09Because, I mean, I could describe how it was actually shot.
01:13I think that's cool to talk about that, right?
01:15Yeah.
01:16I mean, it's just so funny, because, I mean, literally, it's a barrel, and they've got enough
01:22of a hole for his head to pop through.
01:24So he's got to sit there with his head surrounded by sand, and then they've got to, like, you
01:30know, close it up so it doesn't leak, so that when I pour the rest of the sand, you know,
01:35it stays there.
01:36And, of course, you know, no one can hold their breath that long.
01:40But I tried within, like, 10 seconds, so he's already gasping.
01:46But let's be clear.
01:47Let's be clear.
01:48He told us that that's really him.
01:50That's not a doll.
01:50That's actually Jacob Vargas in the barrel having salt poured on him.
01:54And that is the beauty of sometimes being an actor, is that you end up doing stuff like
02:00you're like, really?
02:01This is not even acting.
02:02We could have had a hit.
02:03But he was there.
02:04He was a real trooper to do it.
02:06And he inhaled a lot of salt for us.
02:09Well, did it give you any kind of ideas for, like, maybe Taza?
02:13He's got all of these things that he's doing, trying to hide some kind of big secret.
02:18Are you plotting out how he would die?
02:21No.
02:21I mean, the thing about having him there was just, I mean, a real, you know, really him
02:29was just great because it really brings out the realism of what it's like to possibly do
02:38something like that.
02:39I mean, because none of us have a clue what it's like to, you know, get rid of a dispose
02:43of a body in salt.
02:45But just to have him there and be a real body and the fact that he's going to actually suffocate,
02:49it actually just creates a little bit of angst and anxiety in yourself for him.
02:55But it serves the scene, I think, too.
02:58So that's good.
02:59OK.
02:59So it cannot be a coincidence that Paolo kills Montez and that it's Taza who finds the body
03:08and has to dispose of it.
03:10So what is the connection here?
03:12Well, I think it's fair to say that he needed to send a message directly to me.
03:18So not only is it the second son now that we have to be accountable for, because you remember
03:26the first one that was killed when we got rid of most of the Vato Malditos.
03:31Well, now we have a second one and he gets delivered personally to my bike.
03:35So he's sending a real clear message to Taza that I'm on you and I'm really close.
03:43And this is how close I got.
03:44You know, you guys are inside.
03:47You're there on the forge.
03:48Boom.
03:49I got this close to you.
03:50So it's a huge threat at this point, knowing that he can get that close to us.
03:55So it amps up Taza's need to, like, really get to him quickly.
04:02A resolver immediately.
04:03Yeah, exactly.
04:05Para chingarlo bien.
04:08Love it.
04:10But it's also, like, it keeps me wondering, like, what is this huge thing?
04:16I mean, whatever this huge secret is, I mean, he killed Riz.
04:22That was, like, his buddy, his brother.
04:25What can you kind of tease about what's ahead that we discover from this?
04:29Are you worried that this could cost Taza his life?
04:34Yeah, I think that's the idea.
04:36The idea is that this secret, which we'll get to know about by episode eight, we now will understand why
04:47he did it.
04:48And then it's going to be up to the fans whether or not they will be forgiving and understanding of
04:55why he did it.
04:57One way or the other, I mean, I don't think in any normal human being there would be any kind
05:04of understanding of justifying killing anybody.
05:07I mean, you know, as you saw, we offed Vicky, another.
05:12It's like, I seem to be getting rid of that family all in one fell swoop.
05:17But there's never any justification to it, ultimately.
05:20And I think the biggest message is that it wears on us all.
05:25I mean, we saw at the end of that episode when he comes to Bishop and basically says it's done.
05:32It doesn't get any easier.
05:33And you can see now that it's starting to wear on him.
05:36And it's fair to say the toll of death and his his and his he takes responsibility for all of
05:45it in the end.
05:47But right now, it's all wearing on his conscience, for sure.
05:52Well, in a previous episode, I can't remember who said it, but when they were talking about the dead reaper
05:57in the desert, and then there's the body of Montez.
06:01But somebody said, like, you know, what, are you looking for a war?
06:04So the fact that Taza, like, had Montez's body and is the one disposing of it, could that be a
06:09catalyst for some kind of war?
06:12Well, yeah, I mean, it is.
06:13Because it's like if the sons find out, you know, now that we're responsible, I mean, I think we got
06:18away with the first one.
06:20And we kind of said, hey, we don't know.
06:22But I mean, this one was delivered.
06:24So if it got out and it was actually found there, there would definitely be an all out war.
06:31So I think that was his reasoning to dispose immediately of the body.
06:36So there is no evidence whatsoever.
06:38But the evidence ultimately takes a toll on Taza, I think, because the secret that will be revealed in the
06:48next three episodes from now will basically let you know why he did it all.
06:53And again, it's are we going to forgive him for it and be understanding of why he did it?
06:57And that's going to be the big one for the fans, I think.
07:00I'm already getting hate mail.
07:02I have to keep reminding people, dude, I'm not Taza.
07:05I'm just an actor, you guys.
07:07But that's how good you are.
07:09Especially when I post something that isn't even Mayans related.
07:13And I'm like, I'm still mad at you for killing Riz or I hate you.
07:17And I'm like, whoa, harsh, harsh.
07:20But that's when you know that you're doing a good job.
07:22Like, I hate Lincoln Potter with every fiber of my being.
07:26I cannot wait for him to die.
07:28But, like, he's just kind of been talked about a little bit this season.
07:31He hasn't been there.
07:31I'm like, oh, I really miss seeing Potter.
07:34I want to hate him.
07:35I know.
07:36He's just one of those great, great guys that you want to hate.
07:39And then when you actually meet him, he's just the sweetest guy.
07:44Okay, so after Taza handles Montez's body, the next time we see him,
07:53this is a very big episode for you, he visits Palo's sister.
07:57What is his endgame there?
07:59What is the what?
08:00What is his endgame?
08:02To get to Palo.
08:05And it got revealed.
08:08It got revealed at the end of Five that he felt badly for the way that he did it
08:13and the way that he used her.
08:15Because he did.
08:16He blindsided her and just thought, oh, okay.
08:19Because, again, I think operating from that level,
08:21we need to get what we need to get and we'll do whatever we do.
08:24But I think a heart cord was struck seeing her 25 years later.
08:33Now seeing that she's, you know, a woman and she's grown up to be something.
08:37She's got a kid.
08:37I mean, she's really become somebody.
08:40And I think after the first meeting, he realizes, okay, that was not cool.
08:45That was not a way to do it.
08:46I could have been probably up, you know, really honest.
08:51But ultimately his endgame is I need to find Palo and find him quickly.
08:55Because now that I know that a body got this close to us, what else could happen?
09:01So I need to find his ass real fast.
09:04Now for you, his feelings may have been evident because you know the rest of the season.
09:10But for us, the entire time I'm like, oh my God, she's going to put her key in the car
09:15and it's going to explode.
09:17The whole time.
09:18I said, that's going to explode.
09:20Wow.
09:22That's amazing.
09:23That's amazing.
09:23I guess that's the beauty of the way that the show is written this year too.
09:28There's a lot of anxiety, I think, in the viewer's head going on all the time, right?
09:35I mean, what were your thoughts when you saw this body of Montez, who, you know, is a character that
09:41I think people have loved from Sons.
09:43Of course.
09:43And at least in this season, because, I mean, he's such a good guy too.
09:47But what were your thoughts when you saw him on the bike dead?
09:52I mean, for me, it was heartbreaking.
09:53As you can see, I got my little Sons of Anarchy, Funko toys here, my Mayans MC book back here.
09:58I'm a big fan of this universe.
10:00So for me, seeing Montez, to be completely clear, I thought he was the dead body in the season two
10:06finale.
10:07I remember I bumped into him shortly after I go, tell me that's not Montez.
10:11Tell me that's not Montez.
10:13Which he wouldn't say either way, but obviously.
10:16But so for me, it was very shocking.
10:19I hate when I have, like, we have so many, so few of our Sam Crow, like, originals that are
10:24left.
10:25It was very sad for me to see him go.
10:27But it seems that it could be a catalyst for something much bigger.
10:31Yeah, but what were your thoughts, not just in seeing him dead, but what runs to your head of, like,
10:39why, okay, why was he brought there?
10:41I'm just curious.
10:42Well, Falo, Falo is trying to set up, is trying to set up Chaza, obviously.
10:47Okay, okay, cool.
10:48That came across then.
10:49Yeah, that's like a cat or mouse.
10:52They're like, you know, but I mean, hopefully the Montez that he was double dipping thing comes out too.
10:58So, but he's like the puppet master.
11:03Yeah, yeah, for sure.
11:04Falo.
11:05He may have lost his brothers, but he's really strong on his own.
11:08He's so great too, isn't he?
11:10I mean, he plays that role so, so well.
11:13Yeah, I've known about, we've known about each other for decades.
11:18And finally to have the opportunity to work together.
11:20And by the end of this season, you know, it's just, we've had so many rich scenes together.
11:25But yeah, he's doing such a good job in this role.
11:28I mean, he's so, so cold and calculated and just heartless, you know.
11:33But he's, again, a testament to a really good performance.
11:36It makes for great television.
11:38I see somebody else saying there that they think.
11:41Taza needs to show Paolo them hands.
11:44Show them them hands.
11:46Yeah.
11:47Somebody else a little bit ago said that they think that Paolo may have seen Taza talking to his sister.
11:54What do you think about that?
11:57There's a good possibility because, you know, if this guy is this close to us and he's following me around
12:01and, you know, maybe he does know where his sister lives.
12:05I mean, you know, according to her, she says she hasn't seen any of her family in 20 years and
12:09all that.
12:10And we have to believe her.
12:11But you just never know.
12:13He could be looming in the background somewhere, just watching, waiting to swoop in.
12:18He's like a reaper and he's worse.
12:20Oh, yeah.
12:21He's worse than a stalker.
12:23Yeah, big time.
12:24He kills you when he gets close enough.
12:27Can you say whether one of you two dies this season?
12:31That's such a spoiler.
12:32Wait, say that again?
12:34Whether Taza or Paolo can die this season.
12:37I'm so scared for everybody.
12:39I think I would be fired if I told you that.
12:43I'm just going to say you've got to wait to find out and you won't find out until episode 10.
12:49Oh, you're going to say until next season.
12:51It's basically to the very bitter end.
12:54You're going to find out what goes down here.
12:56Oh, my God.
12:57That's such a beautiful fabric that you have behind you.
12:59What is that?
12:59Oh, I'm at my niece's house down at my house because I live on a ranch way up in the
13:05mountains and I've got really shitty Wi-Fi.
13:08So she's the one that convinced me.
13:10She says, you know, we need to go to my house.
13:12She just actually moved back here.
13:14She's one of the closest allies in my whole family.
13:18I mean, I helped raise her.
13:20And, yeah, this is how she fixed it up.
13:22It's an old, old house.
13:23It's been here since the 80s and she fixed it up.
13:25And this is her fabric, but I thought it was a good backdrop.
13:29Yeah, it's beautiful.
13:29I love it.
13:31Yeah, it's a great place.
13:32Yeah, it's so good to be back in New Mexico.
13:34This is, never leave us, Taza.
13:36I will do my best not to.
13:38Hey, the Empire, brother.
13:40Look at him.
13:41I got some good people tuning in here.
13:43That's awesome.
13:44I love you guys.
13:45I just want to say I appreciate all you guys tuning into this show.
13:48I mean, this season is so special to us all.
13:51Having Elgin and Deborah at the helm and leading us down these incredible, incredible scripts.
13:58And, I mean, visually, it's such a beautiful, beautiful season to watch, isn't it?
14:04I mean, just cinematically.
14:05I have to say that Elgin has helped bring out, like, I feel like all of you have,
14:12not that you guys were not amazing before, but, like, he elevated you to a place where you guys are
14:17just spectacular.
14:18And visually, I don't want to say too much, but I just watched 306.
14:26I saw 306.
14:27And I said, this is one of the most beautiful, beautifully shot episodes.
14:32It was like a movie.
14:34Yeah, yeah, yeah.
14:34I've always coined it this season.
14:37It's poetic violence.
14:40You know, I mean, it's just so beautiful to look at.
14:43Even in the most grisly of scenes, it just looks incredible.
14:49And, like I say, we're all so proud of this season because this is the show that we've wanted to
14:55do now.
14:55And it's taken us three seasons to get there, and we're all incredibly proud.
14:59And we have such an amazing crew that works their asses off.
15:03I mean, we as actors, please.
15:04I mean, you know, we work some, but we don't even work anywhere near as close as much as the
15:10crew does.
15:11They're the best crew ever, seriously.
15:13They're just so good.
15:14I think that's a, it's more like a dance.
15:17Because you guys, you can't say that about the acting.
15:20Because the acting, like, I mean, I have been watching so many of you guys for so long, and this
15:24was just, like, next level.
15:26Again, though, but that's all in the writing.
15:28If the writing wasn't what it was this year, you wouldn't have seen this kind of performances.
15:33Because we're not just delivering information and sort of dealing with the formula that I think the first two seasons,
15:39you know, as much as I've loved this show from the beginning.
15:41But it was still formulaic in the beginning because, you know, we were trying to feel our footing in this
15:48world that was still very governed by, you know, what the greatness of Sons of Anarchy.
15:54But I think it took this third season to really get us to a place.
15:58And that's all to the writers and to Elgin and Deborah's, you know, leading, steering the ship.
16:04But Elgin is just such an amazing, amazing writer, director, and I've worked with some amazing directors, and he's right
16:10up there with one of the greats.
16:12I mean, his way of working with actors, getting performances from them exactly the way that he wants them.
16:18Because he's got the vision.
16:19And you just, he's just someone you just trust completely to tell you how to get there.
16:26But he gives you the safety nets to be able to play.
16:30Like some of these scenes, like that scene that you saw with Laura and I, I mean, God, he allowed
16:36us so much time to shoot that thing.
16:39But giving him so many different flavors and nuances that he could ultimately just pick and choose all the stuff
16:45he needs.
16:46So I can't say enough about this show.
16:48I'm so happy being part of this show.
16:50It's such a great show to be part of.
16:53Every one of these chats that I have, everybody wants to know where Chucky is.
16:57Chucky, Chucky is in Ohio.
16:59He's left with his family, which is for real.
17:03Everyone has a different funny answer about where Chucky is.
17:06You know, it's just, it's all, it's in this business.
17:09It's a funny thing.
17:10You know, it just, it takes, you know, he's gone on with his life.
17:14Because, I mean, he's such an amazing artist as well as an actor.
17:17And I think right now, the move to Ohio is a big deal for him.
17:20And, you know, that just takes him out of the loop.
17:22Because he's not, you know, he's not in L.A. and can't be part of the family.
17:26Whereas in Sons, he lived in L.A.
17:28So he's just a little further away.
17:30But we all miss him so much.
17:32I'm sure he'll maybe pop in again someday.
17:35Yeah, I know.
17:36We do, too.
17:36We just, we love that guy.
17:38He's so awesome.
17:39So in 305, this tiny little thing happened.
17:42Like, you blinked and you missed it.
17:44But this guy, his name is Easy, He Gets Shot.
17:48This tiny little thing, you know.
17:50Easy gets shot.
17:51That little thing.
17:52That little thing.
17:53Can we talk a little bit about that and how it changes the game?
17:58I think we could.
17:59I mean, I guess I could talk about just the fact that I think we needed something like that at
18:04the crossroads where he's at right now.
18:06I mean, he was just on the verge of losing Gabby, who was ready to walk out of his life.
18:10And I just think this brings the violence that exists in his world to the immediate forefront for her.
18:20But at the same time, I mean, she was ready to pack up and leave.
18:23And now all of a sudden he's shot.
18:24So we're going to see now how she actually deals with that.
18:27But again, I think that was the brilliance of the writing, again, is letting everybody know that, you know, any
18:35of us could go any time, you know.
18:38And whether or not we survive it or not is a different story, you know.
18:42Well, that's a perfect setup for me to announce that next week we're going to have Girl Talk for the
18:47first time from this season of Mayans MC.
18:49We're going to have Zulem Calderon joining me to speak about Gabby.
18:54We can dish about what it's really like to kiss J.D. Pardo.
18:58You know, all the important things about the show.
19:00Yeah.
19:00I see an interesting here.
19:01Will Taza have a love interest this season?
19:04I think this season you're going to find out more about Taza and love.
19:09But that's as much as I'll say.
19:12Oh, my God.
19:13Wait.
19:13Does the secret have to do with love?
19:16Doesn't it all have to do with love?
19:18It does, huh?
19:19I mean, look at Bishop's character.
19:21You know, you now have uncovered the fact that he, you know, had a wife and a kid that he
19:27lost.
19:27So I think this season, again, because of the digging that we're going into all of our characters, we're now
19:35really allowed into our hearts somewhat to find out either what has happened in the past and what is currently
19:42going on right now.
19:43But I think this is a glimpse into our hearts.
19:46Our other, I think the other seasons have always been about what, you know, what's up with us in our,
19:53you know, our male bravura, in our balls, in our kick-ass world.
19:57But this year, I think we're going to be able to touch on all of our hearts.
20:01I mean, look at Galinda, what's going on there?
20:03I mean, there's a lot of heart action going on here, you know.
20:07Coco, you know, in there.
20:09There's a lot of good stuff.
20:11Who could resist Taza?
20:12I was going to say one thing.
20:13Taza, girl, you're the best.
20:15Love you.
20:15Love you, Taza, girl.
20:17I was going to repeat that, too.
20:20So, wait.
20:21So, don't stray me too far from there.
20:24Because I kind of felt like maybe there was something between Taza and Paolo's sister.
20:29Is that where we're going?
20:30Well, you have to remember, I haven't seen her in 20-some years.
20:37So, she was a little girl.
20:39Oh, I'm bad at math.
20:41I'm a good writer.
20:42Not good at math.
20:45But, you know, you're definitely going to find out what is behind Taza.
20:51You're going to find out more of his past.
20:53You're going to find the reason for all of it.
20:57So, I can just have one of the questions.
20:59Is he going to fess up about killing Riz?
21:01You're going to find out everything by the last episode of the season.
21:05You're going to find out everything.
21:07And then it's up to you whether you're going to forgive him and still love him or not.
21:14But then, so, what happens always with the Mayans episodes, though, it answers a lot of the
21:19questions, but then it brings you a whole batch of new ones, leaving you thinking.
21:23Pretty much.
21:24Pretty much.
21:24I think that's the beauty of it is, you know, that's the complexity of life.
21:29It's never that easy.
21:31And, again, it's from one perspective, it's one thing.
21:33And then from somebody else's perspective, it's a whole different thing.
21:36I mean, if you ask Paolo these same questions, he'd have a whole different set of reasons
21:41of why things are being done.
21:42So, yeah, thank you, Sense of Anarchy, Happy Chick.
21:50You're awesome.
21:52I love all the fans.
21:53You guys are so amazing, the way you guys support the show.
21:55You guys are just the best.
21:57And we're having such a good time doing all this for you guys.
22:00So just don't hate me by the end of the season, okay?
22:03That's all I ask.
22:04Well, they can hate Taza, no?
22:06They can hate Raul.
22:07No, I mean, I hope they can separate the two.
22:10But I want to hope that in the end they can always feel a little something for Taza.
22:15Because up until now, Taza has been sort of the grounding force of the club.
22:20He's always the most calm, most grounded.
22:22And now we're actually seeing him be probably ungrounded for the first time in three seasons.
22:30And, you know, rightfully so.
22:32I mean, you know, he did.
22:32He killed one of his brothers, probably the closest brother.
22:36And I mean, which is really amazing.
22:37Because Antonio and I had such a close relationship as human beings, you know, as well.
22:43And in the show, we always tried to play that there was a real brotherhood there.
22:48And we're the two long hairs, you know?
22:52So we use all the big jokes that we've all had to endure from everybody else about the hair.
22:58It was hilarious.
23:00Well, I don't want to stray too far from Bishop.
23:04Everybody has, like, their own personal things that are going on.
23:08And it's affecting what they're doing within the club.
23:12And Bishop is one of those people.
23:14Obviously, Taza is one of those people.
23:15Can you talk a little bit about how that can, like, how that's going to affect the club as we
23:21continue the second half of the season?
23:23Okay.
23:23You have to just go back to the first part of the question.
23:25I missed it because I was actually reading some of the stuff here.
23:28I know.
23:28Some of them are really good.
23:29You're asking me what specifically about Bishop?
23:32Well, we're talking about how each individual member of the MC is going through their own thing.
23:37Bishop, Coco.
23:38But, you know, with Bishop being, you know, in the president position, you know, he makes the decisions for the
23:44club.
23:45And they're not always the right decisions.
23:47So can you talk a little bit about how the decisions he's making are going to play out in the
23:54second half of the season?
23:55Yeah, I think it's fair to say that this, you know, the first half of the show, from the beginning
24:02of the season, you saw how Bishop disregarded my advice a lot.
24:10And he all of a sudden favored taking advice from easy.
24:14And that didn't go well with anybody.
24:16And especially Taza.
24:17Taza, I think, and Hank looked on a lot like, wait, what's going on here?
24:21This is just a kid.
24:23He just got patched.
24:24And now we're just being discarded.
24:26So there was a lot of that going on.
24:28But as we're now in the middle of the season, and, you know, you saw we had a successful venture
24:36last night, finally.
24:38I mean, it was something that was, you know, it failed the first time, second time it actually succeeded.
24:43I think it's fair to say that that success showed that we were all still united and together against the
24:53odds that we were going to be facing huge backlash from everybody, from Alvarez, for the choice that Bishop made,
25:02from the other charters for what we've just done.
25:06So I think it's fair to say that the success of this last venture united us fully, again, as brothers.
25:16And in a sense now, we're going to be able to deal now with the emotional s**t that comes up
25:23because of a united front.
25:27But this s**t will hit the fan by episode 10, big time.
25:31We have to talk about Bridge Over River Kwai.
25:34Yeah, wasn't it amazing?
25:35That was so cool!
25:37Yeah, that was so cool.
25:38I mean, as I say, it was something that, you know, again, you know, Bishop brought, wanted to do it,
25:43and Todd was like, dude, no, it's a suicide mission.
25:46We're never going to have time.
25:47And then on the day, we've got the kid who's saying, I can do it, I can do it, I
25:49can do it.
25:50And it gets done.
25:51So, again, all of those efforts of all of us working together really united us in something successful.
25:58So it's not like one person can take the full credit for it all.
26:03It's the fact that we all did it together.
26:05But, again, it united us.
26:09I think it did.
26:10That's what it did.
26:11Every time I see you, I see the dude from Apocalypto.
26:16Not really.
26:17He never wore shades.
26:20So, anyway, what else?
26:23I'm trying to let you answer some of their questions.
26:25I mean, I'm here for them, too.
26:27Was easy shot by a Mayan?
26:31I'm not going to tell you.
26:33Because you didn't pay attention.
26:34You would have seen who it was wearing that vest last night if you'd look closely.
26:39That's the thing with Mayans.
26:40There's a lot.
26:41Like, things are said.
26:43Or you see little things.
26:44Like, there's a book that Mrs. Galindo had, like, in her drawer.
26:50And I remember that this season, when I saw it reappeared in Miguel's hand, I googled it.
26:54And it's about, like, the author lost her parent.
26:57And how then he goes, she goes off and trains, like, these hawks.
27:01And I'm like, it was right there.
27:04Yeah, yeah.
27:05That's the one thing about all these actors, whether it's JD or Danny.
27:11I mean, they make sure that whatever props they have.
27:13I think a lot of us do that, too.
27:15Is we just, we want to make sure that it fits in with our character.
27:18I mean, everything we do.
27:19The look.
27:20I mean, you know, we work really close with wardrobe to make sure.
27:23I mean, I have some of the, like, amazing jewelers from the Navajo Res, you know, native designers who help
27:31make all of Taza's cool stuff, you know.
27:33And so, they just, the book and things like that are just little things that we throw in there as
27:38actors to be able to make sure that these characters come to life in a real way.
27:44You know, more than just one-dimensional, multi-dimensional.
27:47I missed the show yesterday.
27:48I'll keep a lookout today.
27:50Well, you're better, Pixie Cloud.
27:53Well, good thing they missed the earlier part of this conversation, because we've revealed pretty much everything.
27:57Yeah, we really did.
27:59Now, Taza has, like, incredible accessories.
28:03Do you borrow any of his accessories?
28:06Here's a good question from my friend Lisa.
28:08Who would I like to see join the cast in the future?
28:10I would like to see more skins from the res join Taza.
28:15You know, some relatives from the res somewhere.
28:18That's what I'd like to see.
28:20That would be cool.
28:21Yeah.
28:23So, tell us about the new colors on your bike this season.
28:25Hey, so you liked it, right?
28:27It's good.
28:27That took a lot, because I thought, again, this year was the perfect year to, because Taza was going to
28:34venture out on his own, and we were going to spend more time with him.
28:37I just really wasn't comfortable with the bike before.
28:40It just didn't feel like Taza.
28:42So, I worked a lot with the art department to make sure that we painted it, and they hand-tooled
28:47all the leather with images that I gave them and all that.
28:51But I wanted, because I'm a horseman, right?
28:55I actually ride horses and have horses, and I have a motorcycle, but I've always referred to my motorcycle as
29:01my metal war horse.
29:02So, I wanted my motorcycle to be more reflecting of who Taza is, you know, as an indigenous man, and
29:10just not have the East LA or kind of like sort of, you know, cholo look.
29:16I wanted his bike to be a little bit different than that, and they did a good job on the
29:20bike.
29:22To represent kind of more of his identity.
29:25Yeah, more of his identity of the indigenous, you know, behind him as well, as opposed to the Mexican part.
29:31Yeah.
29:33Let's see.
29:34Anybody else got any more questions before we cut them off the hot seat?
29:39I saw you all in the Valley Inn.
29:41You gave the head, and now you're such a...
29:44We try to be as nice as because Taza has the best jewelry and hair.
29:47Although, I had to tell somebody today, they were hating on me.
29:50Somebody actually wrote on a picture.
29:53It was one of the ones that's saying, you know, from yesterday about Tune In Tonight.
29:57And it was, you know, one of the shots that they gave me from the show, from a scene.
30:00And actually, a girl wrote three times on it.
30:03She says, ah, he looks too girly.
30:05And then she says, the hair's got to go.
30:08And then the third time she said, I don't know.
30:10I couldn't understand all the, you know, the lettering.
30:14Like, let me know, LMK.
30:15I mean, I'm so new to that s***.
30:17So, I don't know what it meant.
30:18But it was just, whatever it was, she was hating on me and hating on my hair.
30:21I thought I was too girly.
30:23So, I was like, oh, okay.
30:24Well, all right.
30:25There's plenty of us who love the hair.
30:27Well.
30:27I love the hair.
30:28Yeah.
30:29I mean, it's...
30:29I love the hair, too.
30:31So, I wish I had more of it.
30:32And that's how that matters.
30:33I was starting to get thin.
30:34Oh, please.
30:36Okay.
30:36Well, thank you so much for joining us today.
30:39Is there anything that you could tease from next week's episode before we go?
30:43Little tease.
30:44Oh, okay.
30:45I think you're going to look forward to what you started hinting about earlier in a war brewing.
30:54It's something really heavy going to be starting to go down.
30:57You've got a taste of it right at the very end when Tucson Chapter got back to their place
31:03and Conce was waiting for him.
31:05So, there is more of that to come.
31:08So, stand by and hold your breath.
31:12Listen, grip tight to Taza.
31:14We're not ready to say goodbye to him.
31:15Okay, Rahul?
31:17Hey, I'm good.
31:18I hope so.
31:19I want to stick around for a little bit more.
31:21I think there's more to be told, for sure.
31:24But what a pleasure talking to you, Rosie.
31:26You, too.
31:26Thank you so much for your time.
31:28And, I mean, the last time I was in New Mexico, like, I had to be outside for the sunsets.
31:34The sunsets are the most beautiful breathtaking sunsets I have seen in my life.
31:38I know.
31:39I know.
31:40I don't want to keep you from that.
31:41No, that's okay.
31:42That's when I'm at my knees.
31:43I've got to drive home still.
31:44But that's why when you look on my Instagram, you'll either see Mayan stuff or it's my ranch.
31:49And there's tons of sunsets and my animals because, you know, I love my animals.
31:54So, my alpacas and my horses, that's my life, you know?
31:58You have alpacas?
31:59I'm not Peruvian.
32:00Those are my cousins.
32:01Oh, really?
32:02Yeah.
32:02I raise alpacas and I have horses and peacocks.
32:05I have a whole bloody ranch with all these animals.
32:08That's so cool.
32:09So, yeah.
32:10Well, most of you all follow me anyway.
32:12But, you know, I share all that stuff just so you can see what paradise looks like, you know?
32:18Aw.
32:18Well, I want to remind everybody that every Tuesday night at 10 p.m. on FX, our new episode
32:25of Mayans MC, at least the second half, we're already halfway through the freaking season.
32:31And it's hard to believe.
32:33Pardon?
32:34It's hard to believe that we're halfway through.
32:36I know.
32:38And then the episodes 24 hours later appear on FX on Hulu.
32:43Next week, I'll be joined by Zulem Calderon so that we can dish about Gabby right here.
32:49And all of my exclusive interviews with the cast are at EW.com.
32:54Thank you, Raul.
32:55Thank you, Rosie, for doing this.
32:56This is a great way to, you know, to get everybody up close and personal with us.
33:01And I think it's a really, really good thing that you're doing here.
33:03So, thank you.
33:04I'm just a big fan of the show, to be honest.
33:07I call myself just like a professional fangirl.
33:10Well, maybe we need to get you in one of those bar scenes, hey?
33:14Listen, I would die.
33:15Dress you up as a little sucia.
33:18Listen, I'm from Miami, and the other half is Cuban.
33:21I can play a sucia.
33:23Hey, you know what?
33:24If you can get on the show and the bar scene one of those days, I will dance with you
33:28on that set.
33:29We will make sure they get music on.
33:31It's a party scene.
33:32It's a celebration scene.
33:33And I will dance with you.
33:34Oh, my God.
33:35I'm going to tell.
33:36Elgin the last time said he wants me in the writer's room.
33:38But I like your idea better.
33:40Ah, let's dress you up as a sucia and get a little dance in.
33:43How about that?
33:44I love it.
33:45Thank you.
33:46All right, Rosie.
33:47Bye, guys.
33:48Thanks for joining us.
33:49Thank you, everybody.
33:50Love you all.
33:53Bye, guys.
