Opposition INDIA bloc members of Parliament intensified their demonstration in the national capital, demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over allegations of voter manipulation. Marking the sixth day of continuous nationwide protests, alliance leaders gathered for a meeting convened by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge before marching toward Jantar Mantar. Protesting lawmakers climbed atop transport buses in a demonstration of unity after being halted by law enforcement. Alliance representatives, backed by several regional parties, reiterated that demonstrations will continue across the country to protect democratic institutions and constitutional rights, asserting that attempts to intimidate elected representatives will not deter their agitation.
