03:06Nice-looking move, this.
03:09And he read it well defensively.
03:18Skipping fast as opponents.
03:28Given away by Ajax.
03:39And just like that, broken up.
03:41I really like that, took control of the situation nicely.
03:51And it fizzles just a bit.
03:55He's in here.
03:58Couldn't grab hold of it.
04:01Not sure promise, but fizzled out completely.
04:09He's showing a real will to win the ball.
04:20It's there for him.
04:24And goes for goal.
04:26Oh, what an astonishing goal.
04:28Almost from a different postal code.
04:31That was as clean as a whistle.
04:34You cannot strike them any better than that.
04:38Well, I could watch this over and over again.
04:41It's a brilliant strike from a long way out.
04:44Catches us all off guard, including the keeper.
04:46That's a brilliant goal.
04:49So, back underway.
04:51Got the scoreline standing at 2-0.
05:03Went in strongly, decisively.
05:11Oh, what an opportunity.
05:15And it goes.
05:16Well, it's one goal after another.
05:19A highly impressive performance.
05:29Well, here's the replay.
05:31You do have to feel for the keeper, though.
05:33He's been completely exposed.
05:35But once he's through, it's a neat finish.
05:37Very cool and collected.
05:41Well, a stylish moment.
05:43And the Seagulls losing the ball.
05:48And he's in.
05:50And there is the goal to make it a hat-trick.
05:54Excellence in finishing.
05:56There for all to see.
06:01Well, here we can see it again.
06:02And this is what he's capable of, given the time and space.
06:05You've got to question the defending.
06:08Could they have got a tackle in earlier?
06:10It's a wonderful solo effort, though.
06:13The ball back with Ajax now.
06:19Good-looking move.
06:22And in with a real chance.
06:24A goal!
06:25From really being spoiled.
06:27This is attacking football at its finest.
06:33Well, here it is again.
06:34And he just makes it look so easy, doesn't he?
06:37Skipped past the defender like he wasn't there.
06:39And he truly slots it home.
06:42So, underway again here.
06:44And they know full well.
06:45This is an uphill flight.
06:58Daly blitz.
07:01Given away by Ajax.
07:06Useful ball.
07:10What a good place to win it back.
07:12And let's see what it leads to.
07:14And a fantastic diving save.
07:18Time for the change now.
07:35Who can they pick out?
07:37Cleared away, effectively.
07:40Let's rip.
07:48Well, the attack carried promise, but petered out.
07:52That's class, that.
07:53Now I'm sure they'll look to build from here.
07:59Oh, that's splendid play.
08:01Chance is on.
08:03Oh, it's off the post!
08:08Well, it did look promising for a bit.
08:11Looking high, pressing.
08:12Work for them here.
08:19So, no more time left.
08:21That concludes the first half here.
08:23And there we have it.
08:25The first...
08:58The second 45 minutes, then, here at Old Trafford.
09:07The second 45 minutes, then, here at Old Trafford.
09:30Time work from Ajax to win it back.
09:36Deflection.
09:37Throw in here.
09:40So, a personnel change, then.
09:45Trying to force a mistake.
09:50And he stopped them in their tracks.
10:01He's in with a chance.
10:04Oh!
10:05Back in the beneath.
10:06Another lance of goals.
10:08No less up here.
10:15Well, here we can see it again.
10:17So easy to change your mind here.
10:20But he doesn't.
10:21He just smashes it past the goalkeeper.
10:23What a great goal.
10:25Well, it's an out-and-out pasting.
10:286-0.
10:31Had the confidence to try it, and then executed it.
10:35And his teammate got him out of trouble.
10:40And he might be through here.
10:42Oh, good heavens.
10:44Miles off target there.
10:45He's properly hit through the ball there,
10:48but he needed to just pass it into the net.
10:57Committed challenge.
11:01Now a decent position.
11:04And the keeper more than equal to it.
11:15Playing it in.
11:17They must clear their lines quickly.
11:24Pressure applied.
11:26Ajax regaining possession here.
11:29Couldn't turn it into an opportunity.
11:35Well, what's the referee going to do now?
11:52Brandt!
11:53All-failing run-of-the-mill in terms of what the keeper had to do.
12:07Reading the game magnificently.
12:11No let-up on the pressing front.
12:13A real opening now.
12:16And a goal!
12:17There he is!
12:19And a double!
12:20They just can't subdue him!
12:31Yeah, he just takes a touch too many there and gets dispossessed, doesn't he?
12:35In your own third, you've got to be sharper than that.
12:38The opposition's punished the mistake quickly, haven't they?
12:40Game penalties for all you guys.
12:48Goal!
12:51Goal!
12:57You're going to need to win at...
13:02Goal!
13:05Goal!
13:08Goal!
13:23Well take a look at this the pace they show on transition it's just so
13:28impressive the defenders can't stay with them and then through on goal he decides
13:32to go for power absolutely smashes it past the keeper and you have to say it
13:37was a good finish
13:39well it looked as though they were on to something
13:49oh he's left as marker for dead and Ajax recovering possession
13:56and he's in
14:00he can't hold on to it
14:03and you cannot argue with a hat-trick simply unstoppable today
14:08well if you look at the replay this is
14:21brought from the goalkeeper he spilled it right into the dangerous area
14:25and there's no way that we're going to miss from there
14:28the coach and staff will be so disappointed watching that again
14:34and striking it
14:39might be a chance to break
14:40and he's through here
14:46oh that is marvellous goalkeeping
14:48that is such a crucial save it shows really quick reactions
14:52it's a really good stop
14:55who can he pick out
14:56and effectively parried away by the keeper
14:59and a confident clearance
15:07given away by Ajax
15:10plenty of support here
15:13he's in behind
15:15oh yes
15:17a goal
15:17exactly what they were looking for
15:19and he's come up with it
15:32well here's the replay
15:33and when through on goal it can be so easy to overthink it
15:37but not in this case
15:38absolutely smashes it past the keeper
15:41and he's barely got any time to react
15:43it's a really good finish
15:47a message delivered from the referee to the fourth official
15:50three minutes on the board
15:53and in with a real chance
15:57and there is the goal
15:59he's found the net
16:00joy and combined
16:14well here it is again
16:15and just look at how quickly they break forward
16:18cause all sorts of problems
16:20and then he's through on goal
16:21no hesitation at all
16:23just puts his foot through it
16:25rifles it past the keeper
16:26it's a
16:27and that is that
16:29the referee blows his whistle for full time
16:31and it's a victory
16:33driving forward with Panache
17:04and it's a
17:04risk for fight
17:04takes care
17:04and there is no one
18:09Well, here's the replay, and he does really well.
18:12He takes his man on with ease, and it's a brilliant finish.
18:15He strikes through the ball.
18:17The keeper has no chance.
18:19It's a superb finish.
18:22And Ajax with the ball again.
18:25This looks more than decent.
18:31Well, that is called helping out your mate.
18:41The game has been turned on its head.
18:44They have never stopped believing, and now they sense victory.
18:55Yeah, he just takes a touch too many there and gets dispossessed, doesn't he?
18:59In your own third, you've got to be sharper than that.
19:02The opposition's punished the mistake quickly, haven't they?
19:06And the ball is moving again.
19:072-0 is how it stands.
19:23Effective challenge.
19:27Chances are...
19:46Can he deliver it with accuracy?
19:47Well, the keeper takes the fall, but the main thing is he held on to it.
19:54Well, it really must come as a massive confidence boost
19:57to know that the manager has faith in you
19:59and has given you a third straight start.
20:02Yeah, and it's all about taking the opportunity when it comes, isn't it?
20:04And that's exactly what he's done.
20:07Please return to your vehicle.
20:15Oh, he looks threatening.
20:17Great defending here.
20:20Well, whatever it takes to keep it out.
20:27Klasen.
20:32And he's through here.
20:36And it's an excellent save.
20:38It's a great save.
20:40Certainly showed his glass there
20:41and prevented an almost certain goal.
20:46Trying to pick out a teammate.
20:48And he won't go to bamboozle the goalkeeper
20:50with a corner like that.
20:52Strong bit of pressing.
20:57Delightfully played.
20:58Menacing.
21:01There's still danger here.
21:03And a confident clearance.
21:06Yeah, sometimes you don't need finesse here.
21:08It's just about getting rid.
21:10That's what you call defending from the front.
21:13Possibilities here.
21:17A lot of pressure applied.
21:19Can they take advantage?
21:20Well, it could be on for him here.
21:23Yeah.
21:38I don't know.
21:55Yeah, he's been caught in possession there.
21:57And it's in a really dangerous part of the pitch.
21:59Once the ball turns over that close to goal,
22:02it's very difficult to recover.
22:06And the action underway once more
22:08with Ajax very much on top.
22:14Well, full marks for getting past him.
22:19And very nicely positioned to win it back.
22:36It's looking promising.
22:38Well, plenty of green space to run into.
22:41And that's the end of that attack.
22:44Counter-attacking chance.
22:49He's in here.
22:51Well, not making life difficult for the keeper at all.
22:54A wide attempt.
23:09Oh, could be an opportunity here.
23:11And with that, the attack fizzles out.
23:15He has teammates around him.
23:17And he's in.
23:19And tried to drive at home,
23:21but couldn't do so.
23:22Well, he just needed to show a bit more composure there.
23:25Take a little bit off the shot.
23:31And pressing from the front.
23:35And not quite in the end.
23:37That's exactly the kind of...
23:39Can he score?
23:41Well, still a chance.
23:45And that brings to an end the first half here at Anfield.
23:53Well, he normally delivers.
23:54I think that's fair to say.
23:56But he hasn't delivered in this match.
23:57Yeah, you can see he's struggling today.
23:59Not seeing enough of the ball.
24:01And when he does...
24:16Well...
24:28Well, back on the way.
24:30And Ajax very much on top up to now.
24:33Will there be a response in the second 45?
24:43Oh, managing to beat him.
24:45Oh, breaking at pace is always a possibility.
24:48Stopped them in their tracks.
24:54Oh, good run, miss.
24:56Now, what can he do with it?
24:58Took a really smart piece of defending to stop them.
25:05Plenty of support here.
25:08And there the move stalls.
25:14Oh, the possibility that he might leave the club.
25:17It's rather gathering speed, isn't it?
25:19Yeah, and I think as long as the fee is what they want,
25:22could go through this.
25:24Oh, big chance.
25:26Well, getting in the...
25:27Oh, quality save there.
25:29Yeah, it's such good awareness.
25:31Closed the angle down perfectly.
25:33That's textbook goalkeeping.
25:36Well, it's a brilliant attack in display.
25:39So much quality in the final third.
25:41And the finishes have been really clinical.
25:43The back line just doesn't have the answers.
25:45They need to organise themselves quickly.
25:47Or this could be a heavy defeat for them.
25:50Yes, the chances just keep on coming.
25:53No stopping them, apparently.
25:57Just lost possession when it mattered.
26:01Oh, breezing past him.
26:03Could move quickly through the gears.
26:06In position!
26:08Oh, goodness me, he's hit the post.
26:11Another goal!
26:12The lead grows to four now.
26:14A rumpet display.
26:31Well, here it is again, and look at the reactions here.
26:34As the shot comes in, he's on his toes, waiting for the rebound,
26:37and he gets his reward with the goal.
26:40And this is turning into something of a rout.
26:434-0.
26:49Oh, not a great challenge at all there.
27:03Give it away by Ajax.
27:06Now, who can he play it to?
27:08Well, maybe a good position from which to counter.
27:15Ajax is doing well to regain possession.
27:21Very effective pass.
27:29And a free kick given.
27:41Oh, touched on to the woodwork!
27:50And into the last 15 minutes of action.
27:55Showing good situational awareness.
28:02Useful pass, it could bamboozle them.
28:10Oh, this looks useful.
28:14Well, that's how to beat your opponent.
28:17A very effective challenge put in.
28:22And he's made headway.
28:25Well, he didn't miss by an awful lot in the end.
28:28Just went for power rather than accuracy.
28:30Should have scored.
28:33Well, by the look of this substitution,
28:35they're going to throw everything they can into attack.
28:38Yeah, and I can't see them getting anything from this now.
28:41It's too late, but it'll be open.
28:43He can at least make an impact.
28:45Race ball from Getafe.
28:47And look at this!
28:49Oh, that's a splendid save!
28:51Well, it's the sign of a good goalkeeper
28:53to keep your concentration levels high,
28:55having had nothing to do.
28:57Yeah, but credit where it's due.
28:58It's a fantastic stop.
29:00And that's very confident goalkeeping
29:02in not easy circumstances.
29:06Now in a more than decent position.
29:12He has teammates around him.
29:14Couldn't quite turn it into a chance.
29:22Thoughtful play.
29:28Well, breaking at pace is always a possibility.
29:32And he's broken free.
29:38Oh, burying them beneath another large of goals.
29:41No mess up here.
29:48Well, if we watch this again,
29:50it's all about the run.
29:52You've got to question the defending.
29:53But I don't want to take anything away
29:55from his superb individual goal.
30:05And there it is, the final whistle.
30:08And the fans will be leaving the stadium
30:09with smiles on their faces.
30:12Well, that was really comfortable, wasn't it?
30:14The play going forward was so clinical.
30:17Tuck them apart at times
30:18and produced some top-quality finishes too.
30:27Again!
30:55Tuck it!
31:26I'll see you next time.
