00:00Big shout out to Tom Holman. You got to love that guy, man. And honestly, I don't know how he
00:07sat there with a straight face and answered these silly questions that this far leftist interviewer was asking. Pretty wild,
00:19man. Shout out to Tom, though.
00:22We looked at officialized data, sir, and found that 57 people have died in the agency's custody so far under
00:28this administration. In fact, somebody was just reported to have died in ICE custody today by the agency. 26 could
00:36set a new record high in the number of detainees dying. What is being done to prevent that? And I
00:41know one partial explanation is that more people are being detained, and so tragically more people are dying. But that
00:48can't be the only explanation. Can it be?
00:50How many people died during the Biden administration? How many people died in custody during the Biden administration? Do you
01:00know?
01:00A significant number. Do you know? But this is going to be the highest year in 2026. I'm just asking.
01:06If the pace continues. Do you know how many died during the Biden administration? I don't have the data here,
01:09but. Of course you don't. Again, this is another loaded question against the truck administration. ICE has the highest detention
01:17standards in the industry.
01:20I hope your viewers go to ICE.gov and look at a section called detention standards. We have the highest
01:26detention standards in the industry, higher than any state or federal institution. Our deaths in custody are among the lowest
01:36of any state prison or bureau of prisons.
01:41Our numbers are up because our population has doubled in custody. We got over 70, I think the other day
01:46we had like 74,000 in custody. So we have more people in custody. And we're dealing with people from
01:51third world nations. Some of the first doctors they see are our doctors.
01:57And matter of fact, no one ever talks about how many lives that are saving detention when they found a
02:03serious medical issue that the alien didn't even know about. And we treat. When I was a ICE check, I
02:08think we spent almost a billion dollars on medical care.
02:14Again, it's unfortunate and it's sad when anybody dies. I don't want to see anybody die. But we do everything
02:20we can to give them the best medical care that we can provide. And again, I think if you look
02:27at deaths in custody compared to state prisons or federal penitentiaries, I think we're one of the lowest. At least
02:35last time I looked at the data was probably a couple years ago.
02:38So we're the lowest.
