00:00In this video, I will show you how to change your Google phone number.
00:04Now to get started, what you want to do is open up a new internet browser,
00:08come across to google.com and make sure you're logged into your Google account.
00:13Once you've done that, click onto your Google account icon in the top right-hand corner.
00:18And from this window that comes up, you want to click to manage your Google account.
00:22What that's going to do is take you to a screen like this.
00:25From here, you want to come over to the menu on the left-hand side
00:28and click onto personal info.
00:31From here, you can see we've got our phone number here.
00:34So if you actually give that a click, it's going to take you to a screen like this.
00:37Click onto your phone number again.
00:40And this is where you can come to actually change your phone number.
00:42So you're going to see your current phone number at the top.
00:45If you come to the right of this, you can click this little pencil icon
00:48and it's going to ask you to do a quick verification check before you change this.
00:52So you just want to sign in with your Google account.
00:54Once you've done that, it's going to take you back to this screen.
00:57So just click onto the pencil icon again.
00:59And what that's going to do is bring up a window like this,
01:02asking if you want to update your number.
01:04So all you need to do is click down here where it says update number.
01:08And then what you can do is enter the number that you want to update to.
01:12Once you've done that, click next at the bottom.
01:14And what they're going to do is send you a quick verification code to verify that number.
01:19So just click onto get code here.
01:20And then what you want to do is enter your code that you receive into the box here.
01:26Once you've done that, click onto verify.
01:28And if the code is correct, it's going to take a minute or two to update your number.
01:32And that's going to show up straight away, just up here.
