00:04I took the smart stiletto from shock me. Our nails are already fully prepped,
00:08the manicure is already done. And we start by fitting the upper forms.
00:12We select the size so that it covers the side walls and isn't too tight.
00:16And with the help of a marker I make special marks for myself, little guides,
00:20so that I can place the upper form exactly straight and the nail doesn't tilt to the side.
00:24Before applying the coating we use a dehydrator and an acid-free primer.
00:27For example, let it air dry. And of course, the base coat.
00:33I used a liquid base from Emina Amin. I applied and immediately set it with a handheld curing light.
00:38By the way, this turned out to be a very quick way to work.
00:41Then I finish curing it in the lamp. For the next step I use Milky Veil and
00:45Pink 0.7 from Amin. My milky shade is a little bit translucent, while the pink color is more opaque.
00:52And it's exactly this combination of gel opacities that will give us our pink
00:56ice crystals in a matte finish. I spread the gel inside the form.
01:00Personally, I do it in such a way that when I place the form, the gel mixes gently.
01:05However, I still want it to be clear that there are two distinct shades.
01:09In this case, I don't stretch the gel all the way to the tip, just to make it easier to
01:13hold the form.
01:14And then, after I've partially cured it, I can easily turn the nail over and spread it to the length
01:18I need.
01:19But it's important not to move the brush around too much, so that the colors don't mix.
01:24And here comes that very moment that probably every technician waits for when working on the upper forms.
01:30The moment of removal. And that's when you really see what you've got.
01:35This is how ours stand out.
01:37I think the reference was followed. It really looks like ice with very nice soft streaks.
01:42And all that's left is to slightly adjust the shape with a file.
01:46Then we cover it with top coat.
01:48And at the last moment we decided to use a matte top coat.
