00:07:30The bell sounds and our main event is underway ladies and gentlemen, Gingo Takagi versus Kazuchika Okada.
00:07:53Okada has been a champion on January the 4th, he knows that walk last very very well, coming

00:10:06with those two meeting and Okada getting the victory.
00:10:12And then going on, and I think you can put an asterisk if you want, over Okada's win over Ibushi.
00:10:21With Ibushi suffering that catastrophic shoulder injury.
00:10:26But Okada looked fantastic that night.
00:10:32And definitely deserved to win the G1 Climax tournament.
00:10:35Okada trying to leverage Shingo back to the ropes.
00:10:45Okada with the height and reach advantage.
00:10:46Shingo definitely with the power edge.

00:10:52We know what Shingo will feel right now.

00:12:05the mentality and the pro wrestling mind and the pro wrestling body are finally in sync.
00:12:12You're still athletically extremely capable, but you've got the smarts to take things absolutely further.
00:12:20You know, this is where most wrestlers enter their peak drawing years.
00:12:24And Kazuchika Okada already having drawn so much and already having achieved so much, now seeking to start a new
00:12:31chapter.
00:12:32Whereas on the other hand, here you've got Shingo Takagi, who knows time's not on his side and really needs
00:12:39the victory here to set himself up for, as he said, pro wrestling in his 40s, in his 50s and
00:12:47beyond.
00:12:53You can look at Okada physically, his body composition when he and Shingo met in the first round of the
00:13:02New Japan Cup.
00:13:03And Okada was dealing with serious back issues.
00:13:07Had difficulty even lacing his boots as he slingshots over, but Shingo rolls inward.

00:15:31lot of his career.
00:15:32And he's been determined to show, even while he was a champion in Dragon Gate, even while he wasn't defeated,
00:15:38he still wrestled like he had so much to prove that he was still the best.
