Congress MP Deepender Singh Hooda stated that the Opposition's struggle continues for the restoration of democracy and to secure an absolutely neutral Election Commission alongside a level playing field. Speaking outside Rahul Gandhi's residence at Sunheri Bagh in New Delhi ahead of an INDIA bloc high tea meeting and joint press conference, Hooda dismissed claims made by the Bharatiya Janata Party regarding Rahul Gandhi's conduct during recent protest marches as laugh worthy, stating that massive public turnout in Delhi had shaken the government. Addressing queries about whether leaders would march to India Gate or launch surprise protests, Hooda remarked that discussions would take place inside before deciding future steps. Heavy security deployment and barricading were witnessed along Sunheri Bagh lane as Opposition leaders, members of Parliament, and civil society representatives arrived for the scheduled meeting to press demands concerning electoral integrity and voting machines.

00:00So stay tuned ladies and gentlemen because this time the strategy of Rahul Gandhi this afternoon is to have a
00:05high tea with fellow MPs, civil society members, other groups to join in and then go ahead with a joint
00:13press conference.
00:14So every day, each time, Rahul Gandhi initiates a discussion over lunch, ideally, with the fellow members of parliament including
00:22from the India bloc.
00:23Then what does he do next? Immediately launches a flash protest or a scheduled protest even.
00:29But this time, we are told there's going to be a joint press briefing after the high tea but ensuring
00:36that all the fellow MPs and fellow colleagues are well fed and then they launch this protest.
00:44Rahul Gandhi has been all guns blazing against Modi government. He's not backing down.
00:50Three constant demands. Remove the chief election commissioner.
00:54S.I.R. needs to be rolled back.
00:57EVMs need to be stopped. Return to the ballot paper area.
01:00Live visuals on your screens coming in. This is Rahul Gandhi's residence.
01:04This is Sunheri Bagh area where the interaction has been scheduled.
01:11Let's listen in to senior leader MP Pawan Khaira.
01:14What is Deshke Loktantra ko bachayenge?
01:16Rahul Gandhi ji jihas largheimис.
01:21Sin he isärke?
01:22Rahul Gandhi ji arrames 살 conditions na tungst
01:28Sanitizing as well, identity check as well.
01:31Hold reactions are coming in. Let's dip into that as well.
01:34This is from right outside Rahul Gandhi's residence in Central Delhi.
01:42It looks like Priyanka Gandhi-Wadra and KC Venugopal ensuring that they are permitting
01:48some of the fellow workers and supporters.
01:51The stakeholders have been asked to join in.
01:55My colleague Anjali Pandey is on the ground right here on the location.
01:59She's speaking to senior leaders Bhupesh Bagheel.
02:01Let's listen in to that.
02:02Anjali, over to you.
02:07Anjali, over to you.
02:33The message is that the Congress party, especially Rahul Ji, will be able to join in every youth.
02:49They will be able to join in every youth.
03:09You can see how massive security deployment can be seen at the entrance of the lane.
03:15That is where the gate is, the gate of the residents of Rahul Gandhi.
03:21But if we talk about who is being allowed inside this lane.
03:25So, let me tell you, only a handful of leaders are being allowed to enter this lane in their cars.
03:30Rest of the leaders are walking till the entrance, which is approximately 300 to 400 meters away from the entrance
03:37here.
03:38As you can see, there's heavy barricading.
03:40So, not all the leaders are being allowed to enter in their vehicles.
03:45And Dipenthar Udda is here.
03:47There's another protest on the road today also.
03:49We will discuss.
03:54See, our struggle continues.
03:57The struggle is the restoration of democracy in this country.
04:01We want to have a level playing field.
04:02And a absolutely neutral election commission and election process.
04:07So, our struggle continues.
04:09We will see.
04:09Once we are inside, we will have a discussion.
04:11Sir, will you today walk to India Gatman, will you walk to India Gate?
04:15Sir, how do you talk about it?
04:16Look, we will see.
04:18Once we are inside, we will have a discussion.
04:20Our struggle continues.
04:22Our fight continues.
04:23Our fight is to have a neutral election.
04:26To have a level playing field.
04:29And to restore democracy in true sense in this country.
04:33Sir, Zipenderji, what's going on?
05:05foreign
05:35politics happening. BJP is claiming that Rahul Gandhi disrespected his own party workers
05:40and senior party leaders yesterday during the march.
05:43It is absolutely laugh worthy. They have nothing better to talk about. When lakhs of people
05:55came to Delhi and that shook this government, so BJP is resorting to this. So it's just
06:02laugh worthy thing that they are doing. We cannot see any buses today which are parked
06:06over here. So is there no possibility of any protest march after this? We will have a discussion
06:13and we'll let you know. So can there be a surprise protest after this? We'll have a discussion
06:16and we'll let you know. All right. So that was Congress MP Dipender Huda, who we've been seeing
06:23has been very active during all these protests, how he's mounted the buses yesterday and even
06:30in the last week protests. We've seen him and he says that there is a possibility there could
06:35be surprise protests that could happen after this IT meeting. But it's highly unlikely because
06:40my sources tell me that today it might just end with the press conference. And we also see
06:45one thing that's missing today is those three buses that we were seeing in all those lunch
06:51invitations that were parked outside the outside the restaurants.
