A political showdown is brewing between the Bharatiya Janata Party and the opposition INDIA bloc over voter list irregularities and demands regarding Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to lead a massive Pad Yatra in Hyderabad on 2 November under the slogan 'Loktantra Bachao, Bheedtantra Hatao'. This demonstration follows closely on the heels of the opposition alliance's planned 'Chalo Delhi' rally at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan on 1 November. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge accused the authorities of large-scale vote theft and asserted that the constitutional rights of millions of voters are in jeopardy under the direction of the Central Government. The opposition has demanded the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner and an immediate halt to ongoing First Information Report procedures. In response, Congress general secretary K.C. Venugopal has been mobilising party cadres across neighbouring northern and southern states to organise a massive turnout in the capital.

02:54able to save the country and save the country in this rally, and make it easy to make this
03:03way to Hyderabad, where Abdul Bashir is joining me, it's very interesting, in Selangana,
03:07Prime Minister Amit Shah is going to do a rally in November 2, and a day, this is the day
03:12after, the India bloc, including the Congress leaders, would be in Delhi.
03:15Abdul Bashir is joining me.
03:17Abdul, tell me about this plan, why is it Hyderabad, do you think, is being chosen, what is the
03:22plan, where is the Padhyatra going to be, because most of the Congress leaders are going
03:26to be right here in Rajdhani, Delhi.
03:32Well, absolutely, as you said, the Congress has given a call to take more than 15,000 of
03:37these workers, party workers, and people from Hyderabad to Delhi.
03:41This is the Chalo Delhi program on November 1st, and November 2nd, what we are learning
03:45is that BJP is planning for a massive Padhyatra here.
03:48The venue has not been finalized, but our sources say that Tangbun would be the venue for this
03:54Padhyatra, that is where a massive crowd is expected to gather there on November 2nd, where
04:00Amit Shah will lead this Padhyatra, and the motive behind or the slogan that is used for
04:06this Padhyatra is, Log Tantra Bachao and Bheer Tantra Hatao, is the slogan that is used by
04:13the BJP here.
04:14And with that, now the final plan is being finalized by evening.
04:19The timing and the preparation schedule, everything will be out, is what the BJP sources have to
04:24say.
04:24Right now, the discussions are ongoing.
04:26November 2nd is finalized, the time has been finalized, the venue is almost done, that
04:31is the Tangbun in Hyderabad.
04:32Stay on with me.
04:33And this is a massive showdown that BJP...
04:35Let me take it to the Congress and what their strategy is, because my colleague who closely
04:40tracks the opposition is Rahul Gautam.
04:42Rahul, Malikarjun Khadge's controversial remarks apart, they are set for the November 1st rally.
04:48How do you think the showdown is going to be at a time when Prime Minister Amit Shah is planning
04:52a rally simultaneously in Hyderabad?
04:54What is the strategy of the Congress party with the Chalo Dilli message?
04:59Well, Pooja, the strategy is absolutely simple.
05:03Get as many boots as possible on ground on November 1st here in the national capital.
05:09And that's why a huge mobilization is happening as we speak.
05:13KC bin Gopal is in Punjab.
05:15He has already taken it to three meetings of different states, particularly the adoring
05:21states like Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and now Punjab.
05:26So, kadans are being mobilized, workers are being mobilized from these four states particularly.
05:32And of course, you know, similar targets have been given to other states as well.
05:37For example, Karnataka, Telangana and, you know, the idea is to get, you know, one million
05:43people, you know, for this march.
05:45Obviously, it's something which Congress party is aiming whether they're going to be achieving
05:50this or not.
05:51That's a different question.
05:52But obviously, the idea is to get as many as people as possible on November 1st.
05:59We know that how Rahul Ghan has already tweeted that this whole movement or this whole agitation
06:06can actually stop within 30 seconds if the government is going to take, you know, decision
06:12to remove CEC.
06:13He was speaking.
06:14But Rahul, Rahul, it looks like it will not be the easiest rally for the Congress party
06:19as well.
06:19I want to thank you and Abdul Bashir.
