00:00Hey guys, what's going on? This is Commodore 64. How are you guys doing today? I'm back with another video.
00:04And for this video right here, I'm going to be talking about the Metal Hero series that we probably could
00:11have gotten, what we almost gotten, what we probably could have gotten.
00:14The Metal Hero series that was originally supposed to be the follow-up to 1996 B-Fighter Kabuto. Now the
00:25Metal Hero series is pretty much the third Tokuzashi series within, well was, was the third Tokuzashi series within Toei,
00:35you know, you know, there was Super Sentai, Commrider, and Metal Hero's basically was considered the third.
00:44In a way. You know, and now, it's like now there's a fourth with Project Red. And now, well, you
00:52know, well Project, and we all thought Project Red was originally going to be, you know, a revival of the
00:58Metal Hero series, but, um, it actually turns out it wasn't the case.
01:03But the main reason why we all thought that was basically because the first series was Super Space Sheriff Gavin
01:12Infinity, and which was basically a series that was basically something connected to, the name itself was basically connected to
01:22Space Sheriff Gavin, the very first Metal Hero series, the first of the Metal Hero series.
01:29So, that led a lot of us believing that, you know, this was probably a revival of the Metal Hero
01:34series, or like, you know, or maybe, closely, at first we thought, ew, we almost thought, you know, Super Sentai
01:43was just going to rebrand itself and call us, like, Universal Hero, Universal Heroes, but, you know, that didn't seem
01:49to be the case.
01:50And Project Red, and Project Red, well, yeah, if it was going to be, uh, would be, uh, Super Space
01:59Sheriff Gavin Infinity was, uh, you know, a name similar to Space Sheriff Gavin, but it wasn't going to be,
02:08like, a direct sequel to Gavin or be connected to Gavin, to any of the Space Sheriff series.
02:12Because, you know, because, you know, all the Metal Hero series, you know, like, you know, they all weren't named
02:16the Metal Hero series, like, you know, after, like, you know, the Metal Hero series at the time, when each
02:22of them were airy.
02:23They became the Metal Hero series, like, almost after, when it ended, it's run, after, you know, like, during the
02:28early 2000s, you know, from Space Sheriff Gavin, all about to B-Fighter Cobb Toe.
02:34So, that is, if you want to count, uh, B-RoboCop Attack and Robo Attack as a part of the
02:41Metal Hero series, if you do or you don't, you know, you know, and so, yeah, so, we've, so, Space
02:50Sheriff Gavin Infinity, you know, was basically going to be a part of a new franchise called Project Red,
02:57and Project Red was going to be, like, a different series where each series is going to feature, like, a
03:02red costume-wearing protagonists, and among other things, you know, stuff like that, you know.
03:10Which I think is pretty cool.
03:12I'm looking forward to see what other future Project Red series are coming out.
03:16We hear that the third one is going to be a rescue-themed series, you know, but not too much
03:22about it.
03:23And definitely 4269.
03:27So, yeah, um, Project Red was basically, was not, not a revivalized version of the Metal series, but it has
03:33something that's different entirely.
03:34So, it's pretty much the 4th Tokusasa series that Toy has.
03:37There might have been more, honestly, you know, but I think those are the main 4 I know of.
03:43Uh, I think Garo was made by a different company.
03:46I know, I know Ultraman's made by Subaya, whatever it is called, whatever, Subaya, well, I think Subaya, yeah, Subaya,
03:55I think.
03:56Like Ultraman's made by Subaya, you know, oh, yeah, and others like Grand Station and such are made by different
04:04people, so.
04:07So, and I know there's many others out there, you know, some from other countries like Armored Herald from, from
04:14China and, um, Armored Source from South Korea and a bunch of many others, you know.
04:25So, Project Red, you know, you know, Project Red, you know, I mean, so, the Metal Horse series, you know,
04:34Metal Horse Heroes series is like, you know, kind of like, you know, what's the 3rd in the Metal Horse
04:42franchise?
04:42Because, you know, the series itself, you know, basically kind of thing that we're all metal suited heroes, basically metal
04:50costume ready heroes, you know.
04:55And, you know, while Super Space Star of Gavin Infinity, or Super Space Star of Gavin Infinity, I'm going to
05:00Space Star of Gavin Infinity, I don't care, you know.
05:03Well, yeah, well, it looks like it could be a direct sequel to the Space Star of Gavin Infinity, it
05:08actually isn't, you know, it's his own thing, you know.
05:10I have Gavin Infinity right here, alright, you guys get, should we see him.
05:17So, yeah, you know, Space Star of Gavin Infinity is part of the Project Red series.
05:22You know, I guess, in a way, they probably could decide to make it a part of the Metal Horse
05:25series if they wanted to, you know.
05:27Or, like, if they want to make Project Red a part of the Metal Horse series or something, I don't
05:31know.
05:32But, yeah, the Metal Horse series, you know, unfortunately, the Metal Horse series ended its run back in 1997.
05:391996 would be for Caputo, or 1998 would Rope Attack, whatever we want to look at it, you know.
05:46You know.
05:48You know, when, you know, Metal Heroes has really made appearances, you know, did make some appearances in 2010s with
05:54a couple movies and appearances.
05:57Make a crossover over, I'm sure it was actually, there's, like, Super Super Night Comrade, like, Super Hero Tyson, Zadie,
06:04from 2013, I believe.
06:07And, um, there was also, um, you know, there was also, um, they also crossed over with Deck Arrangers, sometimes
06:14they're called, a couple movies, in the 2010s.
06:18So, yeah, I guess the 2010s were to the Metal Horse series, like, what the 90s were to Comrade, you
06:23know, the era where that franchise makes appearances in, makes a lot of movies, you know.
06:29But it doesn't have an actual TV series running at the time, you know.
06:35But, but, you know, the Metal Horse series, despite the fact that it ended, it's still, the series has developed
06:41a cult classic, you know.
06:43And some people, some of you guys may not be, may be familiar with the Metal Horse series with, uh,
06:47American adaptations, you know.
06:48So, uh, VR Troopers, uh, Big Bad Beatty Borgs, and also, some of the Power Rangers seasons, the later Power
06:57Rangers seasons, you know, had guest appearances from Metal Heroes characters, you know.
07:01Or, like, uh, like, uh, Space Sheriff Skyfire is Jiraiya, who appeared in Power Rangers Ninja Steel is Jiraiya.
07:09And, um, Space Sheriff Gavin, you know, and, uh, uh, Captain Chaku, uh, from Beast Morphers is Space Sheriff Gavin,
07:20you know.
07:21So, that is kind of interesting, you know.
07:24Um, so, you know, the Metal Horse, so, the Metal Horse series, you know, after, uh, 1996 B-Fighter Cabotau,
07:34you know, you know, we had B-Robo-Cabotac, and B-Robo-Cabotac was actually aimed at a much, a
07:41much younger demographic, you know, much like its predecessor, its successor, you know, its successor, Robo-Tac, you know.
07:50They were geared towards a much younger audience, you know, and they were made to, basically, create, create to, like,
07:56be, you know, similar to that, oh, Jack-Robot, Ro-Robot, Japanese Robot, you know, craze that was going on
08:04in Japan, you know, with the likes of Robo-Con, and, you know, many, many others, a few others, you
08:11know.
08:11I mean, a few others, not many, many others, that's a few others, you know.
08:17So, Toya basically wanted to get into action, and they made contact soon after, like, B-Fighter Cabotac wrapped up.
08:26But, what's interesting enough, after B-Fighter Cabotac, originally, that wasn't going to be the case, originally, after B-Fighter
08:33Cabotac wrapped up,
08:36originally, they actually, they had, they were actually planning to do a different Topazes series, that would be a follow
08:43-up to B-Fighter Cabotac.
08:45Yep, so, basically, kind of similar to how B-Fighter, the B-Fighter series were a follow-up to Blue
08:50Squad, and Blue Squad was similar to a follow-up to Just-Man, Just-Man, or Just-Man, or whatever,
08:56you know, the purple metal hero, you know, you see?
09:03So, follow-up, so, so, basically, the next, originally, the series to follow, B-Fighter Cabotac, so, was, basically, going
09:14to be a, uh, Topazes series that was going to theme the ramen.
09:18Get this, Sea Warriors.
09:22Now, unfortunately, we do not know too much about the details, we do not know too much about what this
09:27metal series was going to be.
09:30Basically, I'm hearing the name, uh, uh, the name, uh, Sea Fighter, Sea Fighter, so, basically, it was going to
09:38be the follow-up to B-Fighter Cabotac, so, I don't know if Sea Fighter was going to be the
09:45traditional name for the series, or if it was going to be something else entirely, we don't know, because, we
09:54don't know too much about this series at all, unfortunately, you know.
09:57Uh, there's no constant art of what, of what the suits were going to look like, you know, these, the
10:03supposed costumes, the supposed suits, suits, that were going to be made for this series.
10:10We don't know. We don't know, unfortunately, we don't. There's no constant art, no storyline, no plot details, or nothing,
10:17you know.
10:19They're pro-, at least it's not my knowledge, at least it's what, at least it's, at least, to what I
10:24know, you know.
10:25They're probably in, you know, it was pro-, it was probably, like, scrapped early on in development, so they, as
10:32they just, they decided they were going to go, do B-RoboCop attack instead.
10:40Cough, sorry.
10:43So, you know, it is kind of fortunate, because, you know, you know, it's kind of fortunate that we never
10:50got this series, because I'm actually thinking about, you know, thinking about what this series could have been like, you
10:56know.
10:57What, what, what would this series be about, you know, what, what the suit design would have been like.
11:01So, if it was going to be themed around Sea Warriors, you know, then, and if they were going to
11:06be able to wear, like, maybe metal, metal armor, which is what the Metal Horses is known for, wearing metal
11:11armor, you know.
11:12So, I'm kind of thinking that maybe Sea Fighter, basically, this series, and since it was going to be a
11:18fallout to B-Fighter, B-Fighter, Cough, I'm thinking that maybe this series was possibly, possibly maybe going to be,
11:25basically, B-Fighter, but with sea creatures, you know.
11:32So, it was going to be B-Fighter, but instead of being themed around insects, it was going to be
11:38themed around sea creatures, sea animals.
11:41That's the kind of thing that I think, you know.
11:44And I, you know, and I didn't think about maybe doing a video talking about, oh, talking about, you know,
11:51you know, what Sea Fighter probably, you know, maybe talking about what Sea Fighter probably could have been, or how
11:57I wanted to make Sea Fighter, you know.
12:01Or maybe I might just do it here in this video, I don't know.
12:04But, yeah, unfortunately, we don't know too much about this series at all, unfortunately.
12:08We don't know too much about this Sea Fighter, just, the Sea, the Sea Fighter, or, you know, we don't
12:15even know if Sea Fighter was, what, what it was going to be called.
12:18Well, we just know it was going to be a follow-up to B-Fighter, Cough, so I assume that
12:23maybe it was probably going to be similar to B-Fighter, Cough, so, you know, it was going to follow
12:26a similar trend to B-Fighter, that the B-Fighter series did.
12:29You know, I think maybe it was probably going to be around three metal-armored heroes, you know, like the
12:38B-Fighter series, but also the Blue Swat series, metal-armored heroes who fight against evil monsters and such, you
12:48know.
12:48So, I have a feeling that B-Fighter, that the whole Sea Fighter was probably going to be, that Sea
12:55Fighter was basically probably going to be, sorry, you hear that noise outside, I think someone's doing some sawing or
13:02something.
13:03I think B-Fighter, Sea Fighter was probably going to be B-Fighter, but with, uh, it's a different, but
13:11with sea, sea creatures, sea animals, you know, you know.
13:14And hence, you know, if it was, if it was going to be a thing around Sea Warriors, then, you
13:19know, these metal suits that were going to be for these series, were going to have some sea creatures, some
13:25animal motif, you know.
13:27Animal motif motifs, thing around sea animals, sea creatures.
13:31So, you know, because, you know, water, you know, animals in the water, you know, just, you know.
13:38So, like, for example, you know, I do think one of them probably could have been a shark, one of
13:43them probably could have been a whale, or one of them probably could have been a dolphin, or one of
13:47them could have probably been, like, a lobster or something, you know.
13:50I'd have a guess, or a crab, or a shrimp, or some kind of fish, or something, you know.
13:58So, that's just the kind of gist I get from it.
14:01That's just what I think, you know.
14:04If it was going to be a thing around sea animals.
14:07That's just what I, if I had to guess, you know.
14:10Now, is it a bummer we never got this series?
14:14100% I want to say, that's a, yeah, it is a huge bummer we never got this series.
14:20Because, honestly, I would prefer this over B-Fire, B-Roll over Cobb Tech.
14:23You know, B-Roll over Cobb Tech, if you guys like it, or whatever, cool for you.
14:27I guess, it's fine.
14:29It's a fine series, I guess, you know, for, you know, your kids and stuff, but, you know.
14:34You know, but to have that be your follow-up to, like, an already, you know, Metal Heroes series, like,
14:41series, you know.
14:42It just kind of, B-Fire and Cobb Tech doesn't feel like it fits the Metal Heroes mode or standard,
14:48you know.
14:48The same with Roll Attack, you know.
14:50So, I think those, those shows can still exist in a way, but just don't have them a part of
14:55the Metal Heroes series.
14:56Just have them be separate, you know, series, off series that you make, you know.
15:02I mean, you know, I think maybe what we should have gotten in 1997, they still could have gave, they
15:08still could have gave us B-Roll over Cobb Tech.
15:12But still give us C-Fighter, you know, that's what I think, you know.
15:15I don't know if Tire would have the budget to do, to do all three shows, you know, three shows,
15:20because we will have C-Fighter, B-Roll over Cobb Tech, and Denji Sentai Mega Ranger.
15:26Which is what most of us Americans, people in America, were known here as Power Rangers in Space.
15:31You know, that's the Sentai where Power Rangers in Space pulls its full footage from, you know.
15:37Anyway, it was video game themed, not really space themed, but the video game master has some space themes in
15:43it.
15:43That's why Jaime Saban and then Prima just mistake it for a space themed Sentai season, when they first saw
15:49it, when it got early drafts and footage and stuff of it, you know.
15:57So, yeah, I don't know if Tire would have the budget to make all three shows at the same time,
16:02honestly.
16:03Who knows, Tire, Tire, they probably would.
16:12You know, at least that's what I think, you know.
16:16But who knows, really, honestly, you know.
16:19You know, C-Fighter, I do think it probably would have been a great series, you know.
16:22It probably would have been a fun series to see.
16:24And if this was created, you know, would Saban adapted this, you know, like, like, adapted this, you know, like,
16:32you know, after Bedeborg's Metallics, you know.
16:37But who really knows, honestly?
16:39You know, we really don't know, honestly, you know.
16:42It is a bummer we never got C-Fighter.
16:44I do think C-Fighter, C-Fighter, C-Fighter would have been fun to see, honestly.
16:49You know.
16:53It is, it's kind of a bummer, you know.
16:55But, you know, you know, I still think, you know, in 1997, we could have had, like, Denji Sentai Mega
17:00Ranger, B-Robo, C-Fighter, B-Robo, Coppichak, and C-Fighter, you know.
17:04Denji Sentai Mega Ranger, C-Fighter, and B-Robo, Coppichak.
17:08But, you know, B-Robo, Coppichak can be, like, you know, a different, like, you know, C-Fighter series, not,
17:13has no connection to Sentai, or even Mountain Rose, just something else done entirely on the side, you know.
17:21And you can have that market towards younger kids, and, like, have that airlock on a different time slot, you
17:25know.
17:26Not the same time slot as Mega Ranger and C-Fighter.
17:29At least, that's what I think.
17:32And, so, yeah.
17:34And, like I said before, C-Fighter, we don't have, we don't have too much information about it.
17:38We don't have, like, a story, plus, or what the story would have been like, you know, what the story
17:42would have been like.
17:43We don't have any constant art of what the suits were probably going to look like.
17:48I mean, there probably are, but this has not been revealed to the public just yet.
17:53We don't know, honestly, and, you know, well, if there are constant art of C-Fighter,
17:59hopefully that is the surface of some day, you know, hopefully.

18:37If there is, I would love to see, because I think it would be cool to see, because, you know.
18:42There are a lot of tokens, actually, franchises that have constant art, you know, that's very different from the finalized.
18:50Some are very different from the finalized design, you know.
18:54Well, you know, if there is constant art, will it leak someday?
18:59Who really knows?
19:02But, you know, anything can happen, you know.
19:05The world is full of surprises, honestly.
19:08That's not the way you see.
19:11A bit, but maybe, you know.
19:12But, yeah, Seafighter, there's not really much to go off of.
19:15We don't really know too much about it, honestly.
19:18It is a shame that this never happened, you know.
19:22And, I do kind of wonder if Seafighter was going to be a defensive name, or was it a placeholder
19:29name, or maybe it was just a fan name that the fans gave.
19:34More of those fans probably gave.
19:37Gave, or maybe it was going to be called Seafighter, but it was going to have, like, some kind of
19:41name before.
19:42Like, you know, something-something Seafighter, you know, how...
19:46B-Fighter, different seasons, he's like, Jukku...
19:49Like, there was Jukku, B-Fighter, and B-Fighter, Carbaccio, you know.
19:55You know, something like that, you know.
19:58So, yeah, Seafighter, you know, it's a bummer that, you know, we never got this, you know.
20:04I would love to see constant art, if it even exists.
20:07Or maybe, us, the fans, we can create, like, maybe some fan-made designs, you know, of what Seafighter probably
20:14could have looked like.
20:15You know.
20:16And I'm assuming that they obviously would have been metal-themed heroes, and, you know, and if they were going
20:20to be Seafighters, their motif would have been of sea animals, you know.
20:28Yeah, you know.
20:29And I didn't think about doing a video talking about what, how I would have done, what, I think, what,
20:35how I would have done Seafighter, what I would have been about, you know.
20:40That's just, but I might do it, but maybe not, you know.

21:06series, and if it was adapted, it could be, like, maybe a Summerfall to B-The-Borgs, or maybe a
21:11spin-off.
21:13Or different focus on that series, like, you know, they probably would have done with that series, like, what they
21:20did with B-The-Borgs, you know.
21:21Not have it be, like, connected to the other metal series that adapted.
21:26Like, you know, B-The-Borgs has no connection with VR Troopers at all.
21:29It's just, like, they just, like, started from scratch and did something new entirely.
21:32That's what I think, if Seafighter were to have Seafighter, that's probably what he would have done, you know.
21:38And right here, I have my B-The-Borgs DVDs out here, because this is melanose-related.
