04:04the Fro Wrestling Sound Offline, 267-642-1160 and I will address those things in a future episode.
04:10Tonight, I am Dr. Fro. I want to thank you for joining us for tonight's episode. We are jumping
04:15into news all around the wrestling world, starting with one that I find so wildly interesting.
04:20A security guard, Noel Lucas, is suing WWE and Montez Ford. Oddly, because back in July,
04:31on the July 6th episode of Monday Night Raw, if you don't remember, that's the episode where the
04:36Street Profits lost the World Tag Team Championships to the Vision, as Montez Ford was making his way to
04:42the ring, he had a very provocative, suggestive dance that he was doing as he came to the ring and
04:49at one point got very, very close to a security guard, Mr. Lucas. Mr. Lucas was uncomfortable with
04:55the situation. Corey Graves on commentary could be heard saying something like, the guy clearly
05:01doesn't know how to have fun, poking, making light of the situation. Well, Mr. Lucas does not take it
05:06so funny. He is claiming that in his private life, other people recognized him. It's become a source of
05:12issue for him, for his children in schools and things like that. And he is suing WWE and Montez Ford
05:19for assault, battery, emotional distress, and a violation of Illinois' Gender Violence Act.
05:26This is a very serious situation. He's seeking monetary compensation, punitive damages, covering
05:33of his court costs, lawyer fees, and whatnot. And a judge order that WWE can never use his name or
05:41likeness in anything ever again. And here's the thing, right? Like, I understand that there's theatrics
05:46in professional wrestling, and Montez Ford is probably just trying to really get people going
05:50and get a reaction. But the man claims that he made contact with him several times. It made him
05:56very uncomfortable. He got very close to his face with his midsection. And now it's become a source
06:04of real duress for him. And look, we don't get to judge that. That's up to the person who's
06:09experiencing it. He didn't ask for this. So from a legal perspective, I'm not trying to be Mr. Party
06:14Pooper, and oh, he should just be on board and have a good time. I'm not trying to say that
06:17I would
06:19wish he would have had a good time. But if he didn't, we don't have a right to judge him
06:23for
06:23what he was uncomfortable with. You know, it's 2026. People have a personal bubble. You don't
06:29violate their personal space. And I like Montez Ford. He's a really wonderful guy in person. If you ever
06:35get a chance to meet him, very humble, very down to earth, very likable. I don't think there was any
06:40malicious intent on Montez Ford's part. I really genuinely don't. He does not come across as that
06:46kind of guy when you talk to him. It's totally out of his character. However, sometimes unintended
06:53consequences are a real thing. And in this situation, this guy, it sounds like, is very
06:58much emotionally frustrated, scarred. His children are feeling the effects of this situation. I don't
07:04know how the lawsuit might actually intensify those concerns because it's words going to get out.
07:09But obviously, I'm reporting on it, as are many other media outlets. So if that's the case,
07:15I'm sure that his kids' friends are going to hear that their family's suing and whatnot. And what,
07:19is he going to relocate? Like, I don't know. It seems really, really interesting that this case is
07:25probably going to move forward. And frankly, I don't know how Montez Ford and WWE get out of this.
07:31I mean, it's on camera. Now, they've edited it out of the replay of that episode of Raw,
07:36so it's not like he can go back and see it. But word is, and I haven't gone searching for
07:39it,
07:39because I really don't need to see this. But word is, there are copies of it available online.
07:44You can see exactly what happened. And then it's very blaringly obvious. And it just went a little
07:49too far. And, you know, I guess you have to learn from these situations. I hope they can find a
07:56way
07:56to settle, that everybody can go their separate ways amicably. I'm hoping his kids don't have to deal
08:02with this ever again, that he doesn't have to deal with this ever again. But we'll have to wait and
08:05see. And, you know, hopefully it leads to a better judgment and decision-making for some of the
08:10wrestlers. You know, I feel like I'm talking about Max Caster all over again. These situations when
08:16people are coming to the ring can be very, very relevant and pertinent. So from there, let's get
08:21into some interesting news. Roxanne Perez, a lot of people frustrated that she didn't win money in the
08:26bank. But there is a report coming out. And I, and I saw my location where I saw this was
08:31on cage
08:32side seats, where they spoke of how Roxanne Perez is being strategically positioned for her next run.
08:38That the reason Tiffany Stratton gets the briefcase is so that you can get heat on Tiffany Stratton.
08:45And that would then open the doorway to Roxanne getting major, major fan support as she feuds with
08:52Tiffany Stratton over the world championship. And that Roxanne Perez is going to have a world
08:59championship program heading into WrestleMania. And that that's why they did everything they did
09:04with money in the bank. Now, I don't know if I buy all that, even if I want to buy
09:08all that. Rumor has
09:09it Rhea Ripley is the main focus of the female division for WrestleMania, assuming she's willing, ready
09:14to go. So I don't know how this would all interplay. Not to mention, we're all still waiting on a
09:19payoff
09:20for Liv Morgan and Roxanne, where we haven't gotten yet. So there's a long time between now
09:24and then, but that is the word out of this report is that Roxanne is going to be in a
09:28world title
09:29program heading into mania. Curious to see how that plays out. Um, let's flip back to the more
09:34frustrating side of things. WWE crown jewel. We know that there are some concerns over the safety
09:40over in Saudi Arabia. And what really has been going on in the last couple of days with all the
09:47bombings and unfortunate loss of life and things like that. There are countless people, apparently
09:53not wrestlers, other employees of WWE that are very, very concerned and are being vocal about
10:00their concerns about going to Saudi Arabia. That the wrestlers aren't saying anything because if you
10:05speak up and you're one of the wrestlers, they feel like there's going to be consequences. You get
10:08pushed down the card, you know, let go or whatever. And I understand that, especially since WWE doesn't
10:14seem to have any trouble letting anybody go. So I understand why wrestlers wouldn't speak up,
10:18but non wrestling capacity individuals speaking to people, even potentially speaking to the media
10:24about this is rubbing people in the higher up positions the wrong way. They want to get that
10:28$50 million for having a show in Saudi. But at the same time, we're not talking about, you know,
10:34somebody might get jumped. We're talking about missiles and bombs and drone attacks,
10:39legitimate loss of life. So you cannot be upset with somebody for having concerns when 17 people
10:47just today lost their life in Saudi Arabia on more attacks. This is a legitimate concern. Now there is
10:53a UFC fight that'll be taking place. I believe it's October 24th. That's before crown jewel. And you know,
10:59it's a little further away, but that too is going to continue to go on. And I find that shocking
11:05as
11:05well, but look, I mean, these people, all they seem to care about is the money. And look, as long
11:10as
11:10we're buying the shows, they're going to keep doing what they're doing because they still want the
11:13money. So, you know, WWE and TKO more specifically, because I don't think this is really a triple H
11:20thing. This is more of a TKO thing. TKO, all they care about is the bottom line. They're a corporate
11:25entity trying to appease shareholders. They don't care about wrestler safety. They don't care about any of
11:30this stuff. Heck, if your wrestlers went there and they got hit with, with some kind of military
11:35operation, they would somehow spin that. And that's terrible. Um, I am on the side of the
11:41people who are speaking up. If you are not comfortable going, you should not have to go
11:44to a company or a country that is embroiled in a very serious military situation. I think it's
11:50ludicrous that WWE would have a problem with that. And really, um, I almost feel like people like the
11:57TSA federal government, there should be somebody who steps in and says, no, we're, we are not
12:01allowing flights to Saudi Arabia for XYZ period of time because of the violence going on there
12:07because of the bombings at the airport. Just seems like simple conversation. Seems like it's
12:12going to be such an easy fix, but I guess we'll have to wait and see how things plan out.
12:16Uh,
12:16there is still talk that they're going to have an alternative location thought up and all this
12:19other stuff. They could still change their mind and move locations. But it is obvious from this
12:23report that they are trying so hard not to move it that, you know, they're, they're under the
12:29assumption they're going to move forward with it in Saudi under pretty much almost any circumstance,
12:33unless something very, very serious happens. So I don't know. I feel for the talent and I'm sure
12:38there are wrestlers who don't want any parts of this. Definitely a touchy situation. And lastly,
12:43this evening, I find it wildly interesting that Dan Housen has been announced as the host of
12:51Halloween Havoc this year. I get it. His character fits the bill. That is not why I find it interesting.
12:58This is a guy from the minute he debuted on the main roster back in, what was it? February has
13:04been over top merch seller. People love his matches, his silly antics, his, his cursing people,
13:12all that stuff, him with the New York Knicks and all that, that was insanity. WWE for the last several
13:18weeks has just dropped the ball. He never should have been in the ring with Gunther. He never should
13:24be off the program at all. Not when you're moving merch like he is. I know people for a while
13:29were
13:29talking about, you know, you don't want to put them out there too much. So it becomes old news,
13:33but he still has to have a presence of some kind. Like there was a time where he was feuding
13:37with
13:37the Miz and Kit Wilson and had them acting like, you know, zombified Frankenstein monsters. And that
13:43just kind of, that program got dropped. And now he's really not doing anything except for getting
13:49slapped around by Gunther last week. So, you know, him doing Halloween Havoc, I almost feel like it's
13:53a demotion. Now I love it for the show because thematically speaking, it makes a lot of sense,
13:58but I hate it for the fact that he works so hard coming from AEW to WWE to get himself
14:03over. He did
14:03it organically. The people love him to be, now be put in a situation where he's just not being taken
14:08seriously in any way, not even in a comedic serious way, if that makes any sense. You know, they're not
14:13even giving him the same platform he had a month or two months ago. So a little frustrating,
14:19but I do think he's a great addition to Halloween Havoc. We'll have to wait and see what his role
14:23is there. He'll probably, I hope he has a match or some kind of appearance at the show beyond just
14:27backstage vignettes and segments and things like that, but we'll have to wait and see.
14:31For now, that's all the time we have for this episode. Check back with us next episode,
