00:06who will ride Domain Expansion in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Phillies.
00:15This is perhaps your favorite horse of all time right now, isn't it, Adrian?
00:20Yes, this is a dream come true.
00:23We go to the Breeders' Cup.
00:25She's just an amazing Philly.
00:26She's very professional.
00:28She does everything very smooth, too.
00:30So when you ask her to go, she just, you can feel the power in her.
00:34So I've never felt that before.
00:37So she's just amazing.
00:39Take me back to the beginning on how you actually got the mount on Domain Expansion.
00:45It was crazy.
00:46So I always go to karaoke expecting to get a mount like this.
00:50The first year I...
00:52Hold on.
00:52At Jockey Karaoke, you expect to get a mount?
00:55Every single year.
00:56But this last year I was just, I just went for fun because it's always fun to go there.
01:00And it's for a great cause.
01:02And I happened to see Matt next to my boss.
01:07And I just asked him, hey, do you guys want a drink?
01:10Because I was actually supposed to put him in my list for that day.
01:13And I got there late.
01:15So I was just trying to be polite or just apologize in a way.
01:21So I said if they wanted a drink, they said yes.
01:23So, and I was expecting much of it.
01:25And next thing you know, I see I was riding a Philly for Leonard Powell.
01:28And that's just because of that drink.
01:30Thanks to, thanks to that, that night, Matt remembered.
01:34And I totally forgot about that day.
01:37And that's how I got this mount.
01:39And I was just surprised.
01:40I was like, how am I riding for Leonard Powell?
01:42He's an amazing horseman.
01:44But I normally, I've only rated for him probably once or twice before this.
01:48And just to see that I was going to ride for him was just kind of weird.
01:52So I was just blessed to get that out.
01:54So you rode a great race on this Philly.
01:57It seemed like you had all the confidence in the world.
01:59Oh, yes.
02:01Because you could feel the power under her.
02:04The first time she broke in the air, I don't know if she was just, you know,
02:08got a little spooked when they opened the gates.
02:10But she positioned herself well on the first turn.
02:14And the second turn, I moved her a little early, got into some trouble.
02:17But then I felt, we got second that day.
02:20So the second time, she broke super sharp.
02:23She had a perfect shirt.
02:24So when I moved her, it was just, you know, it was just one move.
02:28She was just, I really knew, she's just very talented, very athletic, you know, so.
02:33So Breeders' Cup, how excited are you, Adrian?
02:36Very excited.
02:37I still can't believe it until I see my name.
02:39But I'm very excited.
02:41It's just, it's just a dream come true.
02:45You know, I've always wanted to run big races.
02:49And this is my first time, my first time going into Breeders' Cup.
02:52Can you sing us a song?
02:54Oh, of course.
02:54People might wonder why you didn't start riding so late.
02:57You were actually a mariachi singer.
02:59Yes, I used to do mariachi in banda for a lot of years.
