00:41weeks later your favorite football team is five and two they are first place in the afc north and
00:50deshaun watson looks to be at this point in time the most clutch quarterback in the nfl
00:58he has had five game winning drives this season that is two off the pace of the great brian sipe
01:05who holds the franchise record for late game winning comebacks whatever the you know whatever
01:11the phrasing of the stat is you know what i mean there somehow some way we are on par with

01:17cardiac kids the cardiac browns of the 80s and the 90s this has been the most wild time to be

01:32total i thought that this team was going to be hapless todd monkey was going to be in over his

01:38that deshaun watson was going to be benched by week two and shanoor sanders was going to be trying to
01:44get you through a little bit of a zombie season and none of that happened after week one when it
01:52looked like everything was going to hell somehow some way since that point they've gone five and one
02:00and deshaun watson of all people of all quarterbacks with the background the history and the crap that
02:08we have all gone through together he is the guy that is leading you on these game winning drives
02:14week in and week out it is no longer just a one-off it is no longer just a situation
02:20where it's the
02:21nfl and any given week any damn team can win the game and even the worst teams in the nfl
02:27see the
02:28titans see the raiders and the dolphins they even win week to week no no no it's not any of
02:35that anymore
02:36this is a trend if something happens five weeks out of seven weeks to start the season off it is

02:43fact it is something that is real and the realness is starting to set in with browns fans that deshaun
02:49watson he's not going to be the greatest quarterback that's ever suited up for your cleveland browns
02:54he's not only even going to be a top 10 quarterback this year in the nfl although some metrics today
03:01some you know he finishes with over 300 yards today 25 for 36 a lot of plays that extended uh
03:09with his
03:10feet on the ground that would led you to believe that he was playing like a top 10 quarterback in
03:16this league
03:17but all that said aside none of that needs to happen he is the most clutch quarterback in the nfl

04:26this season if you're going to play sloppy football if you win at the end of the day you come

04:31one and oh i'm not really going to harp on anything that badly because again i didn't think that this
04:37team was going to win any more than four games this season and a lot of people that even said

04:41we're on the top end of this uh you know the most optimistic for this browns team we're thinking seven

04:47eight wins guys they might get to the seven or eight win mark in like two or three weeks that's

04:52things are going so far that's how much winning is happening in the city of cleveland but i've come on
04:59week in and week out and just said i'm going to set aside the substantial criticism especially for
05:06players like deshaun watson because i don't feel like he's going to be here next year and if he is
05:11we've got a long cold off season to talk about it and i'm not going to continue to harp on

05:18offensive linemen spencer fauno austin barber uh the young guys in casey concepcion and denzel boston
05:24because i'm more interested in watching them develop as opposed to suddenly perform burst onto
05:30the scene and win you a bunch of games so i'm totally cool and i've set that up with you

05:36week in and week out that if you're going to be ugly on the football field at least win winning

05:42is still winning and there was no more ugly game that they have played this season than today
05:47the turnovers were awful there were missed extra points drop passes terrible uh you know play by
05:55the offensive line by especially by elton jenkins obviously there was the one uh drive that was
06:00basically blown up after you got the interception off of cam ward and you have two holding calls that
06:07basically burn that drive and and make that a moot point so there was a lot that did not look
06:12good
06:12and of course you you let tony pollard run rough shot over you who tony pollard seems to have the
06:18browns number better than any running back in the history of the nfl at least here recently i don't
06:23know a guy that runs better against this team than tony pollard of all running backs in the league it's
06:27crazy that it's him there was so much when you went into halftime thinking okay we've got a 17 to
06:3414 lead
06:34but this is a titans team that's one of the worst in the nfl like they are very very close
06:40to being that
06:41number one overall pick save the la chargers not continuing to lose week in and week out
06:46the browns should not be battling it out in a three-point matchup with this thing and i gotta
06:52give people credit because some way they had this belief that they were going to pull it out at the

07:04when they went down 14 to nothing they're gonna accidentally win this thing 17 14 on the last play
07:09i can post it time stamp it whatever it is and now it wasn't 17 to 14 but i mean

07:44and different things that they can build off of how's five different data points of five different
07:50game-winning drives from your franchise the the guy that you traded to be your franchise quarterback
07:54and deshaun watson that's about as good as it can get for you so despite the fact that you went

08:00halftime thinking we should be way ahead of schedules to where we are and the shooting ourselves in the
08:07foot consistently with turnovers with fumbles with terrible interceptions and i do want to get
08:12to that first quarter interception because there's a little bit of debate going on between is that
08:17denzel boston's fault or is that deshaun watson's fault at the end of the day the belief is still there
08:23and when is the last time that you headed into halftime of a game this far into the season and

08:30well we're down or it's a close game and we aren't really playing all that well but somehow some way

09:50you had been looking at the last six weeks of the year if you thought and you were confident in
