00:20Well, the weather forecaster has promised us an agreeable day for football
00:24and that's exactly what we've got.
00:26My name is Derek Ray and I'm joined for commentary by the former Arsenal and West Ham player Stuart Robson
00:32and we can't wait for this one to start with justifiable cause.
00:37How do you see the match going, Stuart?
00:39Well, both managers will be reminding their players of starting the game quickly,
00:43hitting the opposition back, playing the ball forward and regaining possession as quickly as possible.
00:47Hopefully we get a really good game here.
01:04The initial 11 today for the hosts.
01:07Well, it's great to see a team playing with wingers in a 4-3-3,
01:11but they've got to be effective both with their dribbling and their crosses,
01:14otherwise they'll become bit part players.
01:35And this is the initial 11 for the visitors today.
01:38Well, it's certainly a back four, but I think we'll see a lot of rotation in midfield.
01:43They just need to have a good understanding about when to support the front player
01:47and when to drop that little bit deeper.
01:49It certainly looks like a 4-5-1 to me.
02:02So here we go, an exciting 90 minutes in prospect.
02:11That's a magnificent run, leaving his opponents in his wake.
02:16So, a corner here.
02:24And there's the delivery.
02:26Immediate priority to clear the danger.
02:30It has gone over the touchline for what will be a throw-in.
02:34Cutting his way inside.
02:39Oh, surely, there it is.
02:42The opening guard of this match.
02:44And what a start they've made.
03:00Well, here we can see it again.
03:01And he does so well to skip beyond the defender.
03:04It just buys him that bit of time to get his shot away.
03:06That's a really nice goal.
03:22Oh, the ball is moving once more.
03:25How important will that opening goal prove to be?
03:36And he has options available.
03:41A very alertly winning back possession.
04:07And good work to regain possession.
04:20And showing the importance of weight.
04:24And given free reign to run.
04:27Well, from that position, he really should be doing more to work the goalkeeper.
04:54So, Murodo.
05:02Emphasis on the clearance.
05:03A good one.
05:04Yeah, that's not the area to mess about.
05:06Good clearance.
05:07Well, maybe a good position from which to counter.
05:12Oh, he looks threatening.
05:15And they've done it to square the game once again.
05:19Exhilarating.
05:25Well, here's the replay.
05:27Watch how he goes past his man with such ease.
05:29And it's just a change of pace.
05:30And his movement's so clever.
05:32Once he gets onto it, there's only one thought in his head.
05:34Smash it as hard as possible.
05:36What a good goal.
05:56So, back underway.
05:58They've leveled it at 1-1 here.
06:13Timed it well.
06:15Throw in here.
06:25Perfect challenge.
06:30Oh, breezing past him.
06:34And it goes awry for him.
06:36Yeah, went for power, but made a real mess of that.
06:56Went in strongly to win the ball.
06:59He has teammates around him.
07:09This is starting to come together.
07:14Possession changes hands.
07:17And the counter-attack looks on.
07:25Might be a chance here.
07:28And there is the goal to re-establish their advantage.
07:46Well, here we can see it again.
07:48Look at the way he glides past the defender to create space for himself.
07:51And then through on goal, he just goes for power and smashes it past the keeper.
07:55There's no stopping that.
07:56What a great finish.
08:07And the ball is moving again.
08:09Anyone's guess how this is going to finish?
08:112-1 currently.
08:22He read the situation defensively and did his job.
08:30Might be on to something.
08:32But quit thinking defensively.
08:43Just one minute of stoppage time, say the officials.
08:49This could be the equaliser.
08:51He got a good palm on it.
08:56And so it is.
08:57The first-half story has been rated.
09:03I think most fans would be pretty happy with this man's display so far.
09:08Well, I thought he had a really effective first half.
09:10Not only did he get the goal that gave them the lead,
09:13but his general play was really good.
09:15He was a constant threat,
09:16and I'm sure we'll see more of him in the second half.
09:23So the first half begins.
09:25Let's see what unfolds.
09:29Let's see what unfolds.
09:48Let's see what unfolds.
09:53Let's see what unfolds.
09:58Let's see what unfolds.
10:01Let's see what unfolds.
10:03Let's see what unfolds.
10:05Let's see what unfolds.
10:06Let's see what unfolds.
10:07Let's see what unfolds.
10:08Let's see what unfolds.
10:08Let's see what unfolds.
10:09Let's see what unfolds.
10:16Let's see what unfolds.
13:35Oh, that's a clever ball.
13:40It's looking promising.
13:42And a goal!
13:44There he is at the double.
13:46They just can't subdue him.
13:55Well, here it is again.
13:56He goes past his markers so easily with just a drop of the shoulder, and it's a great finish.
14:00He holds off the defender, keeps his composure, and finds the back of the net.
14:04It's a marvellous goal.
14:18And the action continues, and no shortage of goals, 3-1 as things stand.
14:37Well, that's a decent-looking attack, miss.
14:45Could reduce the deficit.
14:47Could reduce the deficit.
14:47Oh, dear.
14:48That moment might come back to haunt them.
14:51A bad miss.
14:52You sense that had to go in, you sense that had to go in, if they're to turn this around.
14:55They simply haven't been at the races today.
15:14Good tackle.
15:21Oh, super piece of play.
15:23Chances on.
15:27And quite simply, a brilliant save.
15:30Well, that's why he's such a good goalkeeper.
15:32He's got his angles absolutely right there.
15:36And over it comes.
15:38Now he must get it out of there.
15:41A smart stop here.
15:52And over it comes.
15:53And over it comes.
15:55And over it comes.
15:57And over it comes.
15:59And over it comes.
16:01And over it comes.
16:01And over it comes.
16:01And over it comes.
16:01And over it comes.
16:02And over it comes.
16:04And over it comes.
16:04And over it comes.
16:10And over it comes.
16:16who can he pick out it might be and firing it towards goal on the volley could have gone in
16:23well that's a big chance yes it's on the volley but i think he should score there
16:51oh big chance
16:54in it goes a three goal cushion this is astonishing stuff
17:11we'll just look at this again he's so hard to knock off the ball once he gets going
17:15of course the defending could be better but that's a great individual goal
17:34not too much defending going on in the grand scheme of things 4-1
17:49fired in there quickly
17:52what a moment well the goalkeeper making a big contribution and denying him another one
17:58well it's another chance for him as you said he looks so hungry for goals today
18:04went in strongly decisively
18:07oh it's fallen for him
18:09and the flag raised left side it is
18:13well a splendid individual performance but the manager elects to make a change
18:42now we're inside the final 10 minutes in this one
18:52schneider
18:53strong but fair tackle
18:56and the flag has gone up offside
18:59and the substitution will occur now
19:21lovely pass could be threatening
19:24oh surely and there it is a goal but will it be purely a consolation at the stage of the
19:31proceedings
19:31they haven't been up the best
19:38well here's the replay and it's a really inviting ball played into the box begging players to attack it
19:43and he makes no mistake with the finish he showed a lot of composure there
20:02so the current scoreline 4-2
20:06well an illegal challenge there
20:18and it has been deemed to be a bookable offence and he'll be walking a tightrope now
20:48and a good challenge to bring that attack to an end
20:56possibility of a counter attack
20:58a move that lost its fizz
21:05chances on
21:07there it is
21:08victory more or less guaranteed now
21:18well as you can see he's a great talent what a run what a goal and what a play he
21:23is
21:45schneider
21:51decent looking pass
21:53chance to shoot
21:56and so the referee blows for full time and it goes down as a victory for the visitors
22:02what a good performance that was they did most things right and their attacking play was inventive
22:07and had a real cutting edge that was a really dominant display from them today
22:13his performance in this particular game will have impressed many people steward
22:18well that was a great performance his understanding of how to find space was brilliant today
22:22and of course he scored two really good goals
22:40might be a chance here
22:41might be a chance here
22:48but
23:12you
23:18You
