00:00I would say both Chubb and Kincaid, this is lingering from when they got hurt in the Raiders
00:04game. They also both wore red non-contact jerseys, just like DJ Moore, who we can get to.
00:08And I like to tell everybody, like, it's so funny, you know, I get it. You watch online,
00:13I go to practice, you tweet out a video, you tweet out a picture, you get these guys in
00:18red non-contact. And there's like, oh, here we go, red non-contact. And listen, man,
00:23let me explain again, just so everybody knows. Red non-contact, it's red. It's like a stop sign.
00:29If somebody's dealing with an upper body injury, you're just basically telling everybody around
00:33them, be careful around this guy. Don't hit him when you don't want to hit him and, you know,
00:37get him a little bit more banged up. He's dealing with a shoulder. He's dealing with a chest injury.
00:40Whereas at Oliver, he's got, you know, he's coming back from the knee. He's not wearing red non-contact.
00:46Not that you don't want somebody to run into him, but you know, it's just more of a precaution,
00:50especially when you're dealing with an upper body injury.
00:52Well, for DJ Moore especially, maybe he was the most surprising to see non-contact because
00:57he gives off the idea that he could play through almost anything. They kept him out.
01:01Then they had the bye week. Could he maybe see a red non-contact jersey? I don't want to
01:06speculate the rest of the season, but were you a little bit surprised to see him in that? And
01:10maybe the bills with this coaching staff, with how they're going to work with the training staff,
01:14say, why wouldn't we just do this for every practice for the rest of the year? You're a veteran.
01:18Why do you need contact in a practice like this? Yeah, that's right. And just so everybody's
01:23aware, there was no actual, like, it wasn't a full contact practice yesterday. They wore their helmets
01:26and shoulder pads, but not, not their like padded pants. So you're right, Jeremy. And when you do,
01:32and you have to have, you have limited contact at practice anyway, going on for the rest of the
01:36year. But I agree with you. Maybe, maybe this is something that as the season goes on, you'll see
01:40more and more of this just to kind of maintain. It's kind of like a vet rest day with a
01:43lot of
01:44guys as they get on where, you know, we're just going to back off the guy on a Wednesday.
01:47And instead of that, maybe like, Hey, you know what? Just going to wear red non-contact. But
01:50you know, DJ Moore spoke even after practice about how it hurt him to not play. Like it
01:55hurt like to watch his guys. And he said, he saw posts on X of him standing around watching
02:00practice. And that's like, not something he likes to see. And you know, he takes a lot
02:04of pride in playing. So I wouldn't be surprised if there's some sort of maintenance that happens
02:08throughout the year with him until they really get them fully healthy. And maybe even then
02:12you're like, you know what? Let's just not risk anything.
