00:18Today I'm here with Dawn Sterling, a manicurist to some of our favorite celebrities.
00:23And today we're going to be talking about our favorite accessory, nails.
00:28Yes.
00:28And we know this season everyone's going to be accessorizing their outfits and we want
00:32to make sure our nails look equally as good.
00:35So Dawn's going to be taking us through three nail trends using these polishes here that
00:40we have available now in Tinseltown.
00:42First we have the NCLA Glitter Glitz Set for Holiday for $39.
00:48Great buy.
00:49And then we have the sixth mini nail polish set.
00:52It's an R29 exclusive because we actually blended the colors ourselves.
00:56Exclusive.
00:57And all these colors are based on the season's trends.
01:00Love it.
01:01We are going to do some ombre, a little accent nail, and some Robin's eggs.
01:07Just for you guys.
01:08It makes simple.
01:09Easy.
01:09Perfect.
01:10Let's get to it.
01:11So achieve the ombre, we are going to apply two thin coats of the shimmer purple from your
01:18Refinery 29 kit that you can purchase at Tinseltown.
01:21So one thin coat first.
01:28So then we are going to grab the purple sparkle.
01:32And we are going to kind of just swirl the brush around the bottle just a little bit.
01:39And we will apply, this is the second step, you are going to apply a medium amount starting
01:49from the middle of the nail.
01:51So the trick is not to paint, not to wipe, you just press the glitter.
01:54You press the glitter halfway through the nail.
01:59One coat is fine, but you can do two if you like a lot more glitter.
02:04And that's it.
02:05You just press it halfway through and you have this beautiful ombre effect.
02:08I love it.
02:10That was so easy.
02:11It's so pretty.
02:11We are going to use this beautiful copper and we are going to pair it with this glitter,
02:16which is kind of like a large leaf glitter, so it is really amazing on top of the nail.
02:20And we are going to just add two coats of this to start.
02:27So we will just add one thin coat.
02:32I love the texture of these polishes.
02:35So this is just two coats of the copper and we will top it off with one coat of this
02:46glitter.
02:46And if you like you can do two coats, but just a little bit more pop.
02:53You only need one coat, which is amazing.
02:57It looks so good.
02:58The copper is really brought out with the pink glitter flakes.
03:02And like you said, the flakes are so big that you only need one coat.
03:06Really.
03:06It's amazing, which is hard because glitters are usually not like thick in consistency.
03:12So one coat of this on top of this is just a sure way to spark a conversation at a
03:17party
03:17at holiday time.
03:20Now we are on to the final trend.
03:22So tell me about what we are doing.
03:24We are going to do the accent now, which is huge and trend.
03:28So we are going to take this vamp, beautiful color here and apply it.
03:34And then we are going to accent on your fingers with this beautiful gold.
03:37Ooh, gold.
03:38I like it.
03:39So we are basically going to just have two thin coats of the vamp color.
03:51And ladies, you can pick any color, any hand, any finger for your accent finger.
03:58I prefer the ring finger or the pointer finger.
04:02Now that we are done with four fingers, we are going to take the gold and apply two coats
04:08to the ring finger.
04:10And there you have it.
04:12I love this because burgundy is such an on trend color for the season.
04:16Yes.
04:16And then we put a little gold bling on the ring finger.
04:20A little gold bling.
04:20So they say put a ring on it, but we put bling on it.
04:23Bling on it.
