00:03okay why did the hipster burn their mouth on the hot coffee because they
00:08totally drank it before it was cool you know when I was growing up a fun game
00:17that we would play we would sort of imagine different companies that we
00:21could start and then we would sort of hash out like how that would actually
00:24work and what we could create I grew up with a family that you know either was
00:29people that were starting their own business or artists or both I think that
00:33that blend of entrepreneurialism and arts is something that just is sort of
00:38ingrained in my DNA you know when we started refinery we started it with
00:41five thousand dollars of our own money and you know just this idea having few
00:46resources can sometimes lead to so much more creativity I'm really inspired by
00:51living in New York and the spontaneity of life in the city you can be walking down
00:55the street and you know my phone is full of pictures that wall art or ice cream
01:01that's fallen on the sidewalk there's constant visual stimuli I find that when
01:05I'm open to these different things that I'm seeing and hearing and doing that
01:10those translate into inspiration and ways that you might not expect obviously
01:15technology is a huge part of what I do and that technology is always evolving and
01:20you have that technology in the palm of your hand you are always moving through
01:25your life with it and it's this portal into this whole world of discovery I'm a
01:31really silly playful person creating a fun work environment and creating a sense of
01:35play and whimsy and joy in the workplace is something that's really important to me
01:40and as a creative director so much of what you do is is helping other people to
01:45come up with good ideas and allowing other people to kind of like shine I think one
01:50thing I really love about my job is the fact that I've been able to create the
01:53environment that I want to work in and you know surrounded myself with all these
01:57amazing creative people who inspire me all the time I created my dream job I'm
