00:07So we are in my house in East London. It is a two bedroom house and I love this place

00:14very much. I've been here for five months and I live on my own for the first time ever.
00:20Downstairs is an open plan living room and dining area,
00:24the kitchen and access to the garden and then upstairs is the bathroom and two bedrooms.
00:30I've got lots of different favourite things about this house but I think on the whole it's the
00:34original features that come with it. So the original wood flooring, the beams and the brickwork,
00:39it just feels quite nostalgic and really special. I run a business that works mainly with fashion and
00:45lifestyle brands. Working in the fashion industry, sustainability is a very important topic for me
00:50to be very mindful of. I really wanted to translate that into every part of my life so buying pre
00:55-loved
00:55items, buying pre-loved furniture instead of buying newly produced things. Welcome to my living room.
01:02This is one of my favourite rooms in the house because this is where I do all my chilling out
01:06and I really enjoy being on my sofa because it's so big and I'm so tall that I can fit
01:12on the entire
01:13thing flat. And around here is where I like to work. The front of the house is where I chill
01:21and the
01:21back of the house is where I work but I kind of want to bring the chill into the back
01:24of the house
01:25so I always make sure there's fresh flowers on my desk when I'm working and really nice lovely warm
01:30light as well. One of my favourite things about this house is the exposed shelves here. As much as I
01:36like to be a minimalist, I also like stuff. I just think it's a really lovely way to express my
01:42own
01:42style without having to try too hard. I feel really lucky to have a garden in London and in the
01:49summer
01:49I always have the back door open. I always eat my breakfast, my lunch and my tea out here if
01:53I'm in
01:54and it's just such a lovely space. It's really calm out here. And now I'll take you into the kitchen
02:01where I do no cooking whatsoever. I really love this space because I love all of the original features
02:10that are here with it. The colours and the tiles, the stainless steel against the wood. It feels like
02:14a really lovely vibe in here. Okay let me take you upstairs. So welcome to my bathroom. My favourite
02:24thing to do in here is to have a bath but this bath drains whilst I'm sat in it so
02:28I'm waiting for a plumber
02:29to come and fix it and then it will be perfect. I'm also a really big fan of these reclaimed
02:33wood
02:33shelves. They give such a lovely vintage feel to the house and I love that. Okay so now I'm going
02:38to
02:39take you through to the bedroom. So welcome to the last room in my house which is my bedroom. This
02:47is my
02:48favourite room in the house because it's the most calming. So this is my wardrobe and as you can see
02:53it's all completely exposed. It means I can choose my outfits every day really easily and it also means
02:59that I can keep an eye on my most loved pieces and one of them is this amazing pre-loved
03:05vintage leather
03:06jacket. I also like to think it brings me luck because I met my boyfriend wearing this jacket
03:12so that's a really lovely thing. The way that I dress is really minimal and that's definitely a theme
03:17that is running throughout this house. There are the odd pops of colour but generally quite muted in here.
03:23I like to do all of my washing on a Sunday because it signifies the end of a week and
03:28the start of a
03:29fresh week. There's nothing better than getting into a fresh bed on a Sunday and feeling like you've
03:35accomplished all of your adult tasks. Speaking of which let's go and stick a wash load on.
03:42So I really believe that technology has such a massive part to play in allowing me to care for
03:47my pre-loved items properly and the LG washing machine helps me to do that very well.
03:53So I always wash my clothes on the Turbo Wash 360.
03:59Because it only takes 39 minutes and it saves energy and time and also uses less water.
04:06Even though I've only been here for such a short time it already really feels like home and
04:10I think the more I've lived here the more I've grown in it and it feels lovely now.
