00:07So we are in my house in East London. It is a two bedroom house and I love this place
00:14very, very much.
00:15I've been here for five months and I live on my own for the first time ever.
00:20Downstairs is an open plan living room and dining area, the kitchen and access to the garden
00:26and then upstairs is the bathroom and two bedrooms.
00:30I've got lots of different favourite things about this house but I think on the whole it's the original features
00:34that come with it.
00:35So the original wood flooring, the beams and the brickwork. It just feels quite nostalgic and really special.
00:42I run a business that works mainly with fashion and lifestyle brands.
00:46Working in the fashion industry, sustainability is a very important topic for me to be very mindful of.
00:51I really wanted to translate that into every part of my life.
00:53So buying pre-loved items, buying pre-loved furniture instead of buying newly produced things.
01:01Welcome to my living room. This is one of my favourite rooms in the house because this is where I
01:05do all my chilling out.
01:06And I really enjoy being on my sofa because it's so big and I'm so tall that I can fit
01:12on the entire thing flat.
01:15And round here is where I like to work. The front of the house is where I chill and the
01:21back of the house is where I work.
01:22But I kind of want to bring the chill into the back of the house.
01:25So I always make sure there's fresh flowers on my desk when I'm working and really nice lovely warm light
01:30as well.
01:30One of my favourite things about this house is the exposed shelves here.
01:36As much as I like to be a minimalist, I also like stuff.
01:39I just think it's a really lovely way to express my own style without having to try too hard.
01:45I feel really lucky to have a garden in London.
01:48And in the summer, I always have the back door open.
01:50I always eat my breakfast, my lunch and my tea out here if I'm in.
01:54And it's just such a lovely space and it's really calm out here.
01:59And now I'll take you into the kitchen where I do no cooking whatsoever.
02:06I really love this space because I love all of the original features that are here with it.
02:11The colours in the tiles, the stainless steel against the wood.
02:14It feels like a really lovely bag in here.
02:16Okay, let me take you upstairs.
02:21So welcome to my bathroom.
02:23My favourite thing to do in here is to have a bath.
02:25But this bath drains whilst I'm sat in it.
02:28So I'm waiting for a plumber to come and fix it and then it will be perfect.
02:31I'm also a really big fan of these reclaimed wood shelves.
02:34They give such a lovely vintage feel to the house and I love that.
02:38Okay, so now I'm going to take you through to the bedroom.
02:44So welcome to the last room in my house, which is my bedroom.
02:47This is my favourite room in the house because it's the most calming.
02:51So this is my wardrobe and as you can see it's all completely exposed.
02:55So that it means I can choose my outfits every day really easily.
02:58And it also means that I can keep an eye on my most loved pieces.
03:02And one of them is this amazing pre-loved vintage leather jacket.
03:06I also like to think it brings me luck because I met my boyfriend wearing this jacket.
03:11So that's a really lovely thing.
03:13That dress is really minimal and that's definitely a theme that is running throughout this house.
03:19There are the odd pops of colour but generally quite muted in here.
03:23I like to do all of my washing on a Sunday because it signifies the end of a week and
03:28the start of a fresh week.
03:30There's nothing better than getting into a fresh bed on a Sunday and feeling like you've accomplished all your adult
03:36tasks.
03:37Speaking of which, let's go and stick a wash load on.
03:42So I really believe that technology has such a massive part to play in allowing me to care for my
03:47pre-loved items properly.
03:49And the LG washing machine helps me to do that very well.
03:52So I always wash my clothes on the Turbo Wash 360.
03:57It only takes 39 minutes and it saves energy and time and also uses less water.
04:05Even though I've only been here for such a short time, it already really feels like home.
04:09And I think the more I've lived here, the more I've grown in it and it feels lovely now.
