00:10gonna pin, win and debunk baking your makeup. Baking your makeup is a drag
00:17queen technique that has been around for ages and it's just a technique to set
00:22liquid makeup with powder so it lasts all night under the hot lights of the
00:26clubs while all the queens are performing. And here is your ingredient
00:29list. Foundation, concealers, some blending sponges, a big fluffy brush, and of
00:35course the powder. The baking powder. Do you use your baking powder? Absolutely not Allison. I'm gonna kick you out
00:41the kitchen.
00:41There are two major mistakes that people make when they're baking their face.
00:46Number one, using a yellow tinted translucent powder if it doesn't fit your
00:50skin tone. And number two, bringing your foundation up under your eyes and mixing
00:55it in with your concealer. So does your skin actually heat up when baking? Because
00:59we have a thermometer. We're actually gonna test this because I don't believe it. Yes your
01:03skin absolutely does heat up. Alright so first I'm gonna take my temperature to
01:06make sure this actually works. Are you okay with that? Okay let's check it. 99.1.

01:18before we bake. Preheat the oven for me Allison. Oh it's already heating. I'm getting ready.
01:22I'm getting ready. Next up, concealer. So we're just applying the concealer under the
01:26eyes carrying it down just a little bit further. Don't go just under the eyes or
01:30else you'll look like Donald Trump. So again the point of baking your makeup is
01:34to get rid of any fine lines or creases around especially under the eye area. I know.
01:38We are using today an HD powder on your skin. Okay. Now notice I'm just setting it
01:44on. Oh my god. I'm not gonna lie it feels tight. Feeling some tightness. And now we wait.
01:58Alright time's up. Woo! Time to take my temp. Let's take this temperature.
