00:03Hi guys, I'm Allison McNamara. We're going to pin and win dyeing our own eyebrows at home with no supervision.
00:11I've seen a bunch of different ways to dye your eyebrows at home. Some of them end up with orange
00:15brows.
00:15So I wanted to find a way that wasn't going to make me look crazy because I got enough orange
00:20on my head already.
00:21Here's what you'll need. Just for men, mustache and beard dye in the color of your choice.
00:26Spoolies and Q-tips. That's it.
00:29So when trying to select the perfect shade, it can be a little difficult because not going to lie, all
00:33these guys look the exact same on the box.
00:35So I would always suggest going a shade or two darker than your natural hair. If you're a redhead like
00:40me, I just went for a medium dark brown.
00:42The reason why the beard dye works is because it comes with this tiny little tool that's meant for dyeing
00:48men's beards.
00:48But it also works great for eyebrows. So you open up this little package and inside you've got a little
00:54tray.
00:54My lovely little tool. And then we've got the natural color developer and the color base.
01:00You're going to take out the tray and put a line of color on one side and a line of
01:04developer on the other.
01:05Then you're going to use the brush to mix them together. You've got to do this quickly. You've got to
01:08work fast here.
01:09Once the developer and the color have mixed, you have to instantly put it on your brows.
01:14This works great because if you have a lot of light hairs like I do, it dyes all of those
01:18hairs so your brows look thicker.
01:19I'm going to use a Q-tip to wipe off any excess on my skin just so my skin doesn't
01:24turn brown.
01:24I like to use a little spoolie full of the dye just so you wouldn't get any extra little baby
01:28hairs.
01:29Now you don't want to leave this on for more than five minutes, so check your timer.
01:33Oh my god, they're going to be black! They're going to be black! They're going to be black!
01:36Okay, so I've got to go wash my brows with a little bit of shampoo. I'll be right back.
01:44I'm back and I've got brows! A few quick tips. I use minty shampoo to wash off the color.
01:50Wouldn't recommend that. My eyes are kind of burning. Also, if you go outside the lines at all with the
01:54dye,
01:54you might get a few hairs outside of your brow line that you don't particularly want.
01:58You can always tweeze those. I've got two culprits right here.
02:01And there you go! Brows for weeks and they're natural. They're yours. You never knew you had them.
