00:00You're the best.
00:01You're like how like my skin and you're trying to get the eyelash out of my eye.
00:04She's the best!
00:05Hey guys, it's me Anne and this is Beauty With Me.
00:07Ever since I did the enzyme facial, you know, the one where it came out looking like a straight-up
00:12grandma,
00:13I've been wondering if I'd ever find something that would top that.
00:17Turns out, I just might have.
00:20And naturally, I filmed the entire experience for all of you.
00:24The facial in question is called the Ice Infusion Tightening Facial
00:27and it was developed by an esthetician named Renee Rouleau, someone I've admired for years.
00:32Her clients include the likes of Demi Lovato.
00:34Ever heard of her?
00:35Although Renee is based out of Austin, she makes regular trips to LA and New York
00:39and I got a chance to try out the Ice Infusion Facial in the flesh.
00:43The facial itself is designed to heat up and cool the skin,
00:47thus brightening, tightening and smoothing everything out,
00:52AKA all things that I love.
00:54She started off by cleansing my skin using amazing hot stones,
01:00thus beginning the warm-up process.
01:02By increasing the skin's internal temperature,
01:06we're increasing oxygen and blood flow
01:08and the blood brings new nutrients and feeds the skin cells.
01:12Then, once my skin was sufficiently clean,
01:14Renee smoothed on a cranberry peel to loosen up any dead skin cells on the surface of my face.
01:19It smells so good.
01:22Next, she continued with even more exfoliation using a biobrasion device,
01:27which is basically designed to exfoliate the skin through light suction and vibration.
01:32I almost felt like it was gonna hurt.
01:35Right.
01:35It doesn't hurt at all.
01:36Very gentle.
01:37Then, she moved on to a mousse-like bubble mask that helps improve circulation.
01:42Naturally, I made like Bella Thorne and took a few pictures.
01:46I'm gonna get the perfect gram.
01:48Who wore better?
01:49Let me know in the comments below.
01:51I love a good close shave.
01:53Mm-hmm.
01:57It's dual purpose.
01:58It warms the skin, which helps increase blood circulation.
02:02That's what the rosemary and the mintiness will do, right?
02:05Yeah.
02:05But then it also softens the skin, so if somebody does need extraction, it will make it easier.
02:11Once the mask had done its work, she removed it and put on a serum and brought out an ultrasound.
02:17Yup.
02:18You earned that right.
02:19An ultrasound.
02:20But she wasn't gliding that device on my skin in search of a heartbeat.
02:23She was actually using it to improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and help the serum she applied absorb better.
02:29I feel like this would be a really great machine if I was in like middle school and I wanted
02:36to pretend like I had a fever.
02:39Then it was time for phase two, the cool down.
02:44Renee whipped out a tray of what looked like ice cubes, what was actually full of frozen serum popsicles cooled
02:51down to negative two degrees.
02:53And what this does is any time you create cold on the skin, it immediately constricts the capillaries and it
03:01creates a vacuum effect.
03:03It pulls the ingredients deeper into the skin, it creates like a suction.
03:07Not gonna lie, it wasn't the most comfortable.
03:09It kind of felt like a three minute brain freeze.
03:11And if you touch your face, you can feel...
03:14It feels like kind of numb now.
03:16Slippery and delicious.
03:19Oh, it's really smooth.
03:22Renee made a seaweed rubber mask that she put on my skin that felt so good.
03:28It was cooling on contact and had really soothing ingredients like seaweed in it to hydrate my skin.
03:33What it does is it creates an occlusive seal over the skin so that everything underneath has no place else
03:41to go but into the skin.
03:45I'm not even kidding, when I looked in the mirror, there was like no pores.
03:48I just didn't understand.
03:50Like around my nose, I used to have like kind of bigger like clogged pores.
03:54Yeah, because the cold constricts the opening of the pore.
03:56You can also see your breakouts have really settled down.
03:58Yeah, like I had one here that was like painful and it's not even red anymore.
04:02Mm-hmm.
04:03I feel like it's an amazing facial for events because I literally looked at myself and I could see a
04:07difference like immediately.
04:08Right.
04:09How long can I expect to see these results for?
04:12I'd say most people can see a visible difference for about 7 to 10 days.
04:16That's so much longer than I thought would. I'm so excited.
04:18Well, thanks so much for giving me the Renee Rouleau Glow.
04:21Your skin's beautiful. I didn't have to work that hard.
04:24Oh, we did some work.
04:26Full disclosure, Renee's facials cost around $450, which I know is pretty steep.
04:31So the next best thing to getting an actual facial from Renee is to get something from her product line.
04:37She recommended three products that you can use to mimic the effects of her facial at home.
04:42The first item is an exfoliating mask.
04:45Now Renee has one in her line. It's called the Triple Berry Smoothing Peel.
04:49I've actually used this before and I really, really like it.
04:51It smells amazing.
04:54And when you put it on and leave it on for 10 minutes afterward, your skin will be like baby
05:00soft.
05:00I'm not even kidding.
05:00Next up is a toner.
05:03Now Renee actually suggested I pour toner into an ice cube tray, stick it in the freezer and use it
05:09to mimic the effects of her ice facial.
05:11So I actually did that and it worked.
05:13It was pretty cool.
05:14Finally, a soothing mask.
05:16Now Renee recommends this one, which is the Rapid Response Detox Mask.
05:20I actually adore this thing.
05:22I really like her line in general, but this mask is amazing.
05:25It looks like golden honey, golden nectar of some sort.
05:29You put it on, it's not drying even though it's really good for acne.
05:33It has tea tree leaf oil, salicylic acid, manuka leaf oil, all of which are antibacterial, so great for pimples.
05:40But it also has sodium hyaluronate, which is great for hydrating.
05:42So this is amazing to soothe your skin.
05:44It really calms down breakouts.
05:46But you can actually make a bunch of DIY masks that I think would do the job as well.
05:51I actually did an entire video on DIY skincare and made a bunch of masks.
05:56I made an exfoliating mask.
05:57I made a really hydrating honey mask and a cocoa powder and yogurt mask.
06:02All of which you can see the recipes for up here.
06:06All in all, I really love this facial.
06:07But I'm not gonna lie, I don't think one facial is going to completely solve all of your skin concerns.
06:13To me, getting a facial is all about pampering and relaxing.
06:15And honestly, Renee's facial was exactly that.
