00:11Valentine's Day is just around the corner,
00:13and today I have a very fun 12-hour wear test planned for you.
00:17I'm going to wear an entire face of NARS products.
00:20I'm going to test it all day.
00:22I'm going to The Lion King later with Colin, my boyfriend.
00:25It's going to be a nice little pre-Valentine's Day date.
00:28So I'm going to start with foundation naturally,
00:30and I have a very exciting new launch from NARS.
00:33This is the brand new Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation.
00:37It's supposed to last a purported 16 hours.
00:41We shall see.
00:43Pretty pricey, it comes in at $49,
00:45but I tend to really like NARS face products,
00:48so I'm pretty excited to try this one.
00:50In all of NARS foundations, I'm Fiji.
00:54It is catching a little bit on the dry patches on my nose.
00:59On my cheeks and chin and forehead, it looks really great.
01:03Alright, so on the skin, I think it applies really well.
01:06I think it looks really natural in most of the places on my face.
01:09Again, the only place I think it's catching is around my nose,
01:13but I just got over being pretty sick,
01:15so my skin on my nose is still kind of healing.
01:18I think One Pump really did a good job of evening out my skin tone.
01:23Concealer-wise, I have the classic NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer.
01:26This is the little mini version, which is really great for travel.
01:29And I'm just going to put that around my eyes and on top of some blemishes.
01:33So I love this concealer for under the eyes because it just blends so beautifully,
01:37especially when you use a beauty blender with it.
01:39So moving along into bronzer,
01:42and I have this really cute mini of NARS Laguna and Orgasm.
01:47So NARS Laguna over here is NARS' iconic bronzer,
01:52and then Orgasm is the brand's iconic blush.
01:54So I'm going to use Laguna because I do really love this shade as a bronzer
01:59and just very subtle contour.
02:00I'm brushing this in the classic three motion onto my cheekbone,
02:06on my forehead, under my jaw.
02:08Bronzer always patchier on my left side!
02:12I don't understand!
02:13Because I just don't know how to fix it.
02:16Like, this left side's always patchier.
02:19I'm going to go into blush now.
02:21This is my beloved NARS Dual Intensity Blush in the shade Sexual Content.
02:26This was a limited edition shade,
02:28but it is my favorite NARS.
02:30Please bring it back!
02:32It is a well-loved product.
02:33Now this is limited edition, as I said.
02:35There are a few other shades of Dual Intensity Blushes that I think can give you a similar effect,
02:40one of which is Fervor and the second of which is Panic.
02:43The way that I like to use these is swirl the two shades together,
02:47and I usually try to hit the apple of my cheek and then sweep up.
02:51When I think about like a lit from within glow, I think of this blush.
02:55I have a very exciting highlighter here.
02:59This is NARS Albatross.
03:01Right off the bat, I'm seeing it, but it's not super like in your face.
03:07And actually, on the cheek, it looks much more warm.
03:10In the pan, it looks so almost white.
03:13On the cheek, it's like gold.
03:15It's really picking up the light really, really beautifully.
03:19Ooh!
03:21So I'm going to, as per usual, prime one eye and not prime the other eye,
03:26so that we can see how the products wear on their own and how they wear with a primer.
03:30Putting that onto my lid.
03:33Eyeshadow-wise, I have an eyeshadow duo that I really like.
03:38I actually travel with this one a lot if I don't want to bring a full palette.
03:41This is the NARS eyeshadow duo in Hamamette.
03:45And sadly, this is also limited edition.
03:48I don't know why all of my favorite NARS products are limited edition, but it is beautiful.
03:53It has this, on the left side, there's a beautiful kind of rosy bronze.
03:57And then on the right side, there's this really pretty pale peachy brown cream.
04:05It's gorgeous.
04:06These are colors that are actually really similar to NARS Silk Road, so if you want to find that one.
04:11It looks kind of like Bor-Bor in the pan, but I just really love it to build it up
04:16and create a very natural crease.
04:18So you can do this to define your eyes, and then just put a lot of mascara, and sometimes I'll
04:22just do that.
04:23But I'm going to do a little bit more, and I'm going to put this shade on the left all
04:27over my lid.
04:29Eyeliner time.
04:30I usually go for a liquid eyeliner, but I was thinking of going with something a little bit softer today,
04:34so I am going to be using the NARS Larger Than Life Longwear Eyeliners.
04:40So I think I'm going to go with a mixture of this matte brown and this bronze.
04:48Alright, and that's as good as it's going to get.
04:50As you can see, I am not using a NARS mascara right now.
04:53This is a Shiseido waterproof mascara.
04:55NARS actually doesn't have a true waterproof mascara in the line.
04:59I'm going to let my lashes dry before I move on to anything else, because I am one of those
05:03people,
05:03I will not let my mascara dry.
05:05I'll close my eyes or something, and there will be mascara all over my face.
05:09So let's dry.
05:10And now onto, in my opinion, the best part, the cap to any makeup look, the lips.
05:17So I have two lipsticks here from NARS.
05:20These are the Velvet Matte Lip Pencils, classic lipsticks from the line.
05:24They are supposed to be very long-wearing.
05:26So let's go with Never Say Never, this lilac-y pink.
05:29So I love these lipsticks.
05:30I have so many of the shades at home, but the one thing that I do think is a little
05:35bit of a hindrance
05:36is the way that it's packaged.
05:38This cap, if you don't secure it very tightly, it can fall off in your bag.
05:44And that's it!
05:49I'm a big fan of the makeup so far.
05:51We'll just see how it wears.
05:52It is noon right now.
05:54I just had my lunch, so we'll see how this goes, how this works throughout the day.
06:00I'm going to go to the show, as you know.
06:01I'm probably going to have a few snacks in between.
06:03I'm going to carry the lipstick with me, just because I have to do any touch-ups.
06:06But everything else, we're going for it with the makeup.

06:20And we are about to enter the theater to watch The Lion King.
06:26Makeup is looking, skin-wise, looking really good.
06:29It was getting a little bit oily toward the end of the day.
06:32It's around 6 o'clock now.
06:33I just left work.
06:34The side with the primer is holding up really well.
06:38Shadow-wise, it's still there.
06:40On the side that I didn't prime, the shadow is creasing a lot.
06:44But the eyeliner actually is holding up on both sides.
06:48So 12-hour wear, pretty good.
06:50I think that the bronzer is fading a little bit.
06:53I think that this foundation is not matte and my skin is very oily.
06:59I think it would benefit from a little bit of powder right after application.
07:03But otherwise, I think the makeup still looks pretty good.

07:07We are back from the show.
07:08My face, you know, foundation-wise, I think that it's covering pretty well still.
07:14It's starting to show a little bit around my jawline.
07:18But otherwise, the coverage held up.
07:21It's starting to look a little bit oily.
07:23Like, I would definitely blot.
07:24If you're not oily, I think you'll love it.
07:25The finish is beautiful.
07:27It gives you a really dewy look.
07:30But personally, for me, toward the end of the day, I did get a little bit too oily.
07:33So I'd give it a little blot.
07:34So as you guys know, I wore primer on the left side and I didn't wear primer on the right
07:38side.
07:38But I think that they both held up pretty much equally as well.
07:42I think that the wing might be a little bit more crisp on the side that I wore primer.
07:45But other than that, it's not creasing the eyeliner.
07:48It still looks very, like, opaque.
07:51It still looks good.
07:52I'm getting a little bit of smudging on the bottom of my lids.
07:55But that's because at the end of The Lion King, I kind of cheered up a little bit when they
07:59did the reprise of Circle of Life.
08:01But anyway, the eyeshadow is pretty nice still on the side that I primed.
08:07It's starting to crease just a touch toward the inner tear duct.
08:10But on the side that I didn't prime, it's creasing quite a bit.
08:14But what can you do?
08:16Not much when you have eyelids as oily as I do.
08:21Lipstick, in love.
08:22I love the color.
08:23I love how it feels.
08:25It doesn't feel dying.
08:26It didn't catch on any, like, dry patches on my lips.
08:29It stains so beautifully.
08:31Like, so nicely that I actually didn't even feel like I had to reapply earlier today.
08:36But I did just to see how it applied over itself, which it did really well, by the way.
08:41The Laguna is still there.
08:43The blush, I think, has diffused quite a bit.
08:46Highlighter, I still think, is pretty poppin'.
08:48But other than that, it was good.
08:51It's a pretty good test, I think.
