00:04so we are in the thick of wedding season at the moment and obviously we are dressed for the
00:09occasion how many weddings do you have this summer so I've got another three but I've
00:13already had one oh my goodness so and but that's nothing like one year I had 12 you
00:19have 12 friends in general that's mind blown it was like this crazy crazy summer and by the end
00:25of it I was sleeping in a tent in the car park because I had no more money left for
00:29the hotel
00:30I was going to say don't you have to like buy your outfits of course you have to go and
00:34stay where
00:34they are wedding gifts engagement presents I mean it's mad it's mad the amount of money you know
00:40you do all of that and then you don't get to go on your summer holiday so you have to
00:43really like
00:44your friends you know we do complain about the hassle of spending money and you know getting
00:49there especially when it comes to booking hotels for weddings but you love going to them what is
00:53it about weddings that you love I mean you know I can be in a city anywhere and see a
00:59wedding happen
00:59and it like absolutely touches my heart and I have like a moment of teariness and I don't even know
01:05these people are you one of those people like you know when you're on the bus and you see people
01:09taking wedding photos and it's like a tear you just cry a little tear like my boyfriend has a lot
01:13like a lot of um videos of me at other people's weddings just like that it's like his pet thing
01:20to
01:20do so there's a collection of Catherine tears I feel like you can come to my wedding just so at
01:25least one person cries do you know what I mean because I thought it should be an emotional time
01:28and you are witnessing people bond in love you know you know it's an amazing thing to make that
01:33commitment to each other to stand up in front of all your friends and however much we all say it's
01:37just a party and of course there is that but you know it's a big deal and it's you know
01:43pretty hard
01:43to get out of as well so you know everyone should celebrate that moment and it is a pure moment
01:49I
01:49think I think that when it comes to hindus and weddings there's a certain amount of you have to
01:55have care for people and you know their budgets because I got invited to a hindu which I you know
02:01politely declined because they wanted to go to a spa weekend and when I looked at the brochure
02:04it looked amazing massages hot stones you know rooms with steam yeah but it was it was 600 quid per
02:11buzzer and I thought wow how are you gonna afford a cake well quite I mean it's it's difficult isn't
02:17it because obviously you hope that you're only gonna have one so you do want to make it special
02:23and I just think that really as with all these things it's all about communication and I think
02:28keep the the guest list small for a hindu you know make sure it's real intimate close friends so
02:34everyone can have a say yeah to a certain extent obviously you can't have everyone happy what song
02:41gets you up and dancing at a wedding so I love 80s classics but my number one has to be
02:47Club
02:47Tropicana do you kick it off your shoes and dance in the middle drinks are free fun and sunshine there's
02:53what is it about the music that gets you going it's just it for that song it's the intro so
02:59you
02:59know you may be chatting by the bar and you hear it and you're like
03:08so yeah no I think you know any any song that people know the words to everyone kind of it's
03:15like
03:15the community spirit thing that you're all in it together like that's that's what you're looking
03:19it's all about the vibe isn't it because we've had such a lovely break yeah am I invited to your
03:24wedding it depends how many people are coming if it's 500 you know what at least you're honest
03:28I thought you're gonna say yeah but at least you're honest you know what can we do we love
03:32somebody who tells the truth thank you for joining me Catherine
