00:08Rockets of Awesome is what we describe the smarter way to shop for kids and it really
00:13is a personal shopping service that does all the shopping for parents and kids and delivers
00:19really incredible high quality high style great value clothes into your home at the beginning of
00:25every season what people are drawn to are the bright colors the clean graphics the extra special details
00:50the glitter that glow in the dark the metallics but at the end of the day what keeps people coming
00:55back is that the fabrics are really really soft so they're the softest stretchiest fabrics that
01:00you'll ever touch and the minute you touch them out of the box the minute you see them in your
01:05drawer everyone's gravitating towards them so much so that the parents keep asking can we make it in
01:10their size
01:30as a parent I was living and breathing the pain point that we're really solving for which is that
01:36my kids outgrow their clothes every season and unlike you and I where we want a new pair of jeans
01:41or a new jacket I'm literally replacing an entire dresser from the underwear to the socks to the
01:46pants to the sweatpants and it's really time consuming it's expensive it's frustrating I always
01:52felt like not only was I three months too late and the pants were up to their knees but I
01:57was always
01:57digging for the cool stuff that wasn't expensive and it was really hard to find and so I love this
02:02idea that we could get to know our customers build trust with them really listen to their preferences
02:07and hear what the parents like and what the kids like because that's not always the same thing and
02:12be able to deliver the product into the home before anyone had to worry about it being summer and nobody
02:17was selling swimsuits anymore I actually think being really naive is in many ways your greatest advantage
02:30because it doesn't it really protects you from worrying about sort of all the information out
02:36in the world if you were to go and say oh my god there's like eight million kids clothing brand
02:41if you
02:41start to think in that manner you will completely psych yourself out but this idea that being a little
02:48naive and being much more focused on the customer and what you know about the customer and the problem
02:53you're trying to solve and your defined point of view of how you can do something special and different
02:58I think it's always given me the confidence and a little bit of the just persistence
