00:04We've all learned that just having good opinions wasn't enough.
00:08We actually have to turn those opinions into real action now.
00:11I mean, I've had to get off my butt and do stuff which I didn't want to do.
00:16I just wanted to kind of live my life quietly.
00:18And now I'm in the middle of a revolution.
00:20But it's important.
00:30Playing somebody that is fighting for her freedom and rights and sort of at the forefront of a revolution.
00:36It is strange how life started imitating art.
00:40But I think the hosts really represent any group that's ever been oppressed.
00:46I would love if there was more bisexual representation.
00:51Everything that everyone's still getting wrong about bisexuality.
00:54One, that it's real.
00:56Two, we're not half one thing and half another thing.
00:59We're our own thing.
01:00It's not half gay, not half straight.
01:02It's its own sexuality.
01:03And no matter what gender you're with, your sexuality doesn't change.
01:07You know, you're always the same.
01:09Playing Dolores really awakened my mind and reacquainted me with my power.
01:17Dolores is a character that no matter how many times she gets knocked down, she gets back up.
01:21And I can certainly relate to that.
01:23And I think a lot of women can relate to that.
01:25Sharing my experiences with sexual assault and domestic violence has been very healing and freeing.
01:31I've learned that if you can bare your soul and be as honest as possible, it can really move people
01:36and really change people.
01:37And if it can bring even one person some comfort, that's amazing.
01:41And also if it's used as a catalyst to actually change the world and the laws.
01:46And that's absolutely incredible and I think now is the time.
01:51I think men and women just need to come together.
01:53We need to realize this is a men and women's issue.
01:55I think if we stop making it about gender and it just being like something that's just happening to women.
02:01Because it's not, it's also happening to men.
02:03I think that's a good start.
02:06Don't be afraid to ask for help.
02:07Finding a really amazing group of women that you can relate to.
02:12Go to therapy.
02:13Like there's no shame in going to therapy.
02:16I think that's such a sign of strength.
02:17I think a lot of people see it as the stigma or there's something to be embarrassed about or there's
02:22something wrong with you.
02:23But there's nothing wrong with you.
02:25You're just a human.
02:25I'm very hopeful right now.
02:28I'm seeing a lot of people take necessary steps.
02:31Laws are changing.
02:33Guidelines are changing.
02:34Attitudes are changing.
02:36I think we're seeing a real shift in what's normal.
02:42If the past year has taught us anything, it's how much stronger we are.
02:48If we band together and if we do support each other, moving it from a hashtag to action.
02:54Action.
02:56That's going to be the next step.
