00:05I don't know about you guys, but I am obsessed with finding out what other people are buying.
00:10I thought it might be fun to find out what the best sellers are at different retailers,
00:15try them out, and see if they're actually worth all the hype.
00:18So we are starting today with Amazon.
00:20I reached out to Amazon earlier this week and got a definitive list of all of their best-selling makeup.
00:26So obviously we're going to start with foundation.
00:28The best-selling foundation is the Maybelline Matte and Poreless Foundation.
00:34It doesn't have a ton of coverage, but the actual application of it feels really nice.
00:41It's interesting because on my cheeks it looks really natural,
00:44and then near my nose it's starting to look a little cakey.
00:49That might have been an application mistake on my part.
00:51Looking at this side by side, it did a very good job of smoothing over my pores.
00:57So I definitely think my pores are much more visible on the side that I'm not wearing foundation.
01:06Moving right along.
01:07The best-selling concealer on Amazon is the LA Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer.
01:12So it comes out in like a brush applicator.
01:15I really like the texture of that.
01:17Good coverage.
01:18I think it like slides onto the skin really nicely.
01:22I like it.
01:23Alright, so to set my face I'm going to use the Dermablend Loose Setting Powder.
01:27I've like never put powder on with a puff before.
01:31I feel so Mary Antoinette.
01:32That's what happens when you use a puff that's so fun.
01:35You just like go on and on and on and you just...
01:37I'm baking it.
01:38I put a lot of powder on my face just now, but it doesn't look cakey.
01:41It actually looks really nice.
01:42Alright, so moving on to blush.
01:45The best-selling blush on Amazon is, drumroll, Milani Baked Blush.
01:52This is a very popular item.
01:54I have the shade Luminoso, which is arguably the most popular shade.
01:59Ooh!
01:59So pigmented.
02:01It has like a really pretty luminous...
02:03Well, it is called Luminoso, but it has like a really pretty iridescence running through it
02:08that I think is actually a very welcome addition to this look,
02:12considering that I just really powdered my face.
02:14Like, it's so matte right now.
02:16So next up is bronzer, and the best-selling bronzer on Amazon
02:19is the Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer, which I dropped and broke.
02:24So you could probably see it.
02:26Ooh!
02:27It'll still work.
02:28It smells like sunscreen.
02:37It smells really good.
02:39There are a few other shades that are in this lineup,
02:41but this one's nice because it's kind of a more cooler-toned bronzer,
02:45so you can kind of sculpt with it, although I will say it's a pretty sheer formula.
02:49Alright, so next up is highlighter, and this Maybelline strobing stick is the shade Light.
02:56And this is a very, very pretty highlighter.
02:58Like, look at it.
02:59It's so almost metallic.
03:02Unlike a lot of cream highlighters that have a very dewy, almost wet look,
03:07this one, it almost feels cream to powder.
03:09Like, it doesn't have that slickness that others have.
03:12So I think a lot of the products that I just used,
03:15I wasn't all that surprised that they were the popular, like, best sellers on Amazon.
03:20This product, the Wonder 2 One-Step Brow Gel, I was a little bit like,
03:25oh, that's surprising.
03:28It's very hard to describe this.
03:28It comes with a separate spoolie, and then the actual applicator is like a weird nubby brush.
03:37I don't think I'm going to apply this straight onto my eyebrows.
03:40I actually have an angled brush here that I'll probably use.
03:43Alright, so it says to fill in sparse areas.
03:46This is actually a lot sheerer than I thought it would be, so it's a little bit more,
03:49it's a little easier to work with because of that.
03:51Like, it's not like you're going to go into your brow and it's going to be a huge hit of
03:54color.
03:55Alright, I'm not going to go too much with this, but I'm going to brush through my brows with a
03:59spoolie.
04:00And I'm going to get the product a little bit more in the sparse spots.
04:06And apparently this stuff is really easy to remove with just like an oil-based makeup remover.
04:12I'm going to let those dry and move along.
04:14Another interesting product is this Shani Shani Eye and Lip Primer.
04:22I think I took a lot of product there.
04:26This is interesting.
04:27I'm very curious to see if this keeps my eyeshadow on.
04:30This is the LA Girl Eyeshadow Collection in the Nudes palette.
04:34I'm going to go into the brown shade, just like sort of smack dab in the middle of the palette.
04:38They're a lot sheerer than I expected them to be.
04:42I actually might use a different brush, something a little bit more dense.
04:47Not a lot of fallout right now, which is nice.
04:50I'm going to use this kind of purple-y shade on the outer corner of that eye just to add
04:57a little bit of fun color.
04:59I'm going to attempt to do this with the brush that comes with the kit actually.
05:04It's a little better.
05:04I actually like these little spongy applicator things.
05:07Sometimes they do the job kind of like a finger would.
05:11Alright, so I've got my bronze on my lid.
05:12I've got my little kind of lilac-y shade.
05:14I'm going to blend.
05:15I'm going to use my good ol' spongy thing to bring the lilac and mix it with this matte shade
05:20under my eye.
05:22I feel like this lilac eye is nice with my hair.
05:26Alright, so that is the eyeshadow done.
05:28I'm going to move on to the other eye now.
05:31Magic!
05:32The next product on the list is this one from CoverGirl.
05:36It is an eyeliner.
05:37It's called the Perfect Point Plus.
05:38I have the black shade.
05:40And because I'm wearing so much eyeshadow,
05:43I think I'm going to stick to wearing this eyeliner just like in my tightline,
05:47maybe a little bit on the like diffuse on my lash line,
05:50but nothing too crazy because I don't want it to be too intense.
05:52Alright, so I'm letting that dry.
05:56In the meantime, I'm going to take what got onto my eyelashes and kind of blend it out.
06:01The eyeliner from my top lash line is already transferring down here.
06:05So, we'll see.
06:06By the end of the day, I might have a very smoky eye.
06:09But, oh my gosh, this blended so well.
06:12Alright, so the best-selling waterproof mascara.
06:15It's the Colossal Volume Express Mascara.
06:17Not going to lie, I'm not surprised by this one.
06:19Maybelline makes amazing mascaras.
06:21I've loved so many over the years.
06:23I like this one.
06:24It has a nice little big brush.
06:30Good mascara.
06:31Good amount of volume.
06:33No complaints.
06:34And eyes done.
06:35And I'm moving on to lips.
06:37So, I have two options.
06:38The ELF Moisturizing Lipstick and the Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink.
06:44This is like kind of orange-y red shade.
06:45I'm going to go with this Ravishing Rose ELF Lipstick.
06:49So, I actually love this ELF Moisturizing Lipstick formula.
06:52They are pigmented.
06:53They feel good.
06:55They're just very, very nice.
06:57So, if you're looking.
06:57And they're $3.
06:58So, you really can't go wrong.
07:05And that's it.
07:06My soft kind of lavender-y, pinky look today.
07:13I think the skin looks great.
07:15The foundation looks really nice.
07:17I think the eyes, I'm hoping, will last.
07:19But, all in all, I'm quite pleased with these Amazon bestsellers.
07:24So, I'm going to wear this for the rest of the day.

07:31So, it is 11 p.m.
07:34I've been wearing this makeup for like over 12 hours.
07:36I got to say that the makeup did hold up for the first, I want to say, eight hours.
07:42And then, it started to take a downhill turn.
07:45As you can see, the eyeshadow is really creasing.
07:48My eyes are very oily, really ate through that.
07:51I got some smudging under my eye.
07:53My skin looks really oily.
07:55I didn't powder again.
07:56But, I will say the highlighter looks great.
07:58The lipstick was beautiful.
07:59It's definitely one you have to keep reapplying.
08:02But, it's lovely.
08:02It's hydrating.
08:03The foundation still looks fine.
08:06It's starting to wear around my nose.
08:08Bronzer is still kind of there.
08:09Highlighter, boom.
08:12Mascara seems alright as well.
08:14So, oh, and the brows.
08:16The brows stayed.
08:18The brows are great.
08:19But, I will catch you guys next week.
