00:00So this is the Pharmacy Honey Potion
00:04Hey guys, it's me Anne and this is Beauty With Me.
00:07We are in the thick of awards season right now guys and you know what that means, more facials.
00:14This time I'm coming at you with one that's very exciting.
00:18Tracey Martin is a spa here in New York City that tends to some of Hollywood's most beautiful faces.
00:24Some names include Julia Roberts, Diane Lane.
00:28They also count Rihanna as a regular and I got to go to the spa this month and get the
00:37Rihanna special.
00:38They call it the Electrofusion Facial.
00:40It retails for $800 and I got to do it.
00:45So without further ado, let's go Tracey Martin.
00:49So when Rihanna goes to Tracey Martin, like most of their celebrity clients,
00:53they are going before a big event like Met Gala Awards season.
00:57So she goes, HAM.
00:59The treatment itself starts with a 15-minute session in their Ruby Ray LED light bed.
01:05Which looks like a tanning bed, but trust me it is not.
01:09This is a really cool device because you sit inside the bed and it just blasts you with red LED
01:16lights.
01:17To help combat anything from lines and wrinkles, inflammation and boost collagen.
01:21So this type of technology is definitely best done repeatedly, but one session does have a very good glow-boosting
01:29effect and I did definitely see a difference when I got out.
01:32Once my 15 minutes was up, I walked into the treatment room to meet my facialist, Irina.
01:37She was such a sweetie and she started with a nice, gentle cleanse and moved on to diamond-tipped micropebration,
01:46which I used to exfoliate my skin and followed up with an enzyme exfoliating mask.
01:53That's pineapple enzyme.
01:55It helps to dissolve the dry skin so you don't have to mechanically rub it and irritate the skin.
02:01Then it was time to bring out the big guns.
02:05Tracy Martin is known for this re-sculptor machine that they created.
02:09And this is a form of microcurrent that is very intense.
02:14It helps drain lymph.
02:15It helps improve circulation.
02:17It helps stimulate muscles to help improve tone and kind of the contours of your face.
02:22It uses a couple of different applications of microcurrent.
02:25So there are forks and there are also electrodes.
02:27There are these weird black sticky things that I got stuck to my face and it kind of like put
02:31the electricity through it.
02:33It looks so weird.
02:35It's so interesting.
02:36Is it on right now?
02:37Yes.
02:38It was really cool.
02:39It didn't hurt at all.
02:40It was actually very relaxing.
02:41After one session of re-sculpting, Irina applied some skin care to my face, the usual toner,
02:47followed up with a nice gel mask that's rich in antioxidants.
02:52This mask isn't just really soothing and cooling on the skin.
02:54It actually acts as a conductor for the microcurrent issue as well.
02:58So we went in for round two of that device.
03:05Once that session was over, Irina applied some eye masks, a neck and body serum.
03:20And then brought out the second of the total of three machines that she would use on my face.
03:25This was the amber LED light machine.
03:27And this one specifically simulates collagen production in the skin.
03:31And you can tell how the pores are much tighter and it's just so glowing.
03:35And the skin tone is more even.
03:37It's very effective.
03:40Next, Irina used a special machine that emits both red LED light and radio frequency.
03:47Radio frequency is a really nice machine.
03:49I've had it done in other facials in the past.
03:50It is a very lovely, very warm machine that's glided all over your face.
03:54That actually uses a specific type of energy to heat the skin's deeper layers
03:59to induce the production of collagen and elastin.
04:09So we're going to use our oxygen peptide mist.
04:12Just brightening, hydrating.
04:15Last but not least, Irina applied some skin care to my face and set me on my way.
04:22All finished for today.
04:24It looks so good.
04:26Look, Emily.
04:27Looks amazing.
04:28So much.
04:29After all that 90 minutes, I did notice a significant de-puffing of my skin.
04:36My skin looked smoother.
04:37My skin looked brighter.
04:38My pores looked smaller.
04:39I mean, if I was a celebrity, I would probably definitely go before an award show.
04:43But $800 is ridiculously high to pay for a facial.
04:48As usual, guys, I am not here to tell you how to spend your money.
04:53I'm not going to tell you to go and blow $800 on something.
04:56If you want to, do it.
04:58Because it was a very, very nice facial.
05:00So Tracy Martin does offer some cheaper options.
05:03But for those of you who don't want to go out and spend a lot of money on a facial,
05:07I do have some at-home products that might be of interest to you.
05:10So starting off with the NuFace, an at-home microcurrent device.
05:14I like to specifically target my jaw area because that's where I get the most puffy.
05:18It is not a cheap machine, but it does, I mean, it's a machine.
05:23You charge it.
05:24It lasts a long time, and in theory, you could be using it forever.
05:26So next up is a mask.
05:28This is the Pharmacy Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask.
05:31And it actually warms on contact as you're rubbing it in.
05:35So you do kind of feel like you're getting this spallic experience because of the mask.
05:39You can actually feel it working.
05:41Honey is antibacterial.
05:42It's also a humectant, so it's quite hydrating.
05:44So this mask is going to brighten.
05:46It's going to really hydrate.
05:47I think it's really great to use before or after the plane.
05:51Or if your skin just needs a little pick-me-up.
05:53All right, so that is it, guys.
05:54I hope you guys enjoyed watching this video, and I will see you guys next week.
05:57Bye!
