00:02Last week, I got my face touched by the same woman that touches Rihanna's face.
00:09The woman in question is Priscilla Ohno.
00:12She is the global makeup artist for Fenty Beauty and a go-to makeup artist for Rihanna,
00:17including her iconic Met Gala look.
00:20And she was gracious enough to show me how to get a Rihanna look from step one to step
00:2950?
00:30I don't know.
00:31There are a lot of steps.
00:31And then I tried it myself to varying degrees of success.
00:38So without further ado, let's go and meet Priscilla.
00:40Hey guys, I'm here with Priscilla Ohno and she is going to bless my face today.
00:45I am so excited.
00:46Super excited.
00:47I know, I have a look plan.
00:49It's actually the look that I did for Rihanna for our Singapore launch event.
00:54Wait, that's awesome.
00:54My family is from Singapore.
00:56Really?
00:56Yeah.
00:58I do it enough by using ProFilter to really ensure that your makeup won't get oily or
01:01greasy throughout the day.
01:03Our ProFilter foundation, and this is in the color 240.
01:06I'm going to shake this a bit, which is really important.
01:08I think a lot of people will forget.
01:09Yeah.
01:10These foundations are-
01:11It suckers a little bit.
01:12A little bit.
01:12And then I'm going to put some on my palette.
01:15Rihanna's obviously very good at makeup as well.
01:17Yes.
01:17Super good.
01:19What is it like having her in the chair?
01:22When I first started doing her makeup, it was a little nerve wracking just because she's
01:26so good herself.
01:27But then after a while, it just made me feel even more comfortable because I feel like she
01:31gets it.
01:32How did you first meet her?
01:33I met her, I want to say it was like seven, eight years ago on the set of one of
01:37her music
01:38videos, S&M.
01:39I was actually doing makeup for the background and when she got on set, I feel like as soon
01:45as I looked at her, she kind of looked at me and like she came up to me and she
01:49started
01:50complimenting me right away like, I love your hair.
01:52It's so cool.
01:53I love your skin.
01:54You have great skin.
01:55Like just being so like down to earth and cool like a girlfriend.
01:59Like the director came up to me and was like, hey, Rihanna wants to know if you want to be
02:02in her music video.
02:03And I was like, yeah, I have like white spiky hair and like I'm wearing like yellow lipstick.
02:08It's really cool.
02:09Did you do your own makeup?
02:10Yeah, I did my own makeup.
02:11It was really cool.
02:12A little bit of suede matchstick and a little bit of amber.
02:14Amber is this really cool, unique, like cool tone.
02:17I like to mix a little bit of the cool tone with the warm tone.
02:20I like to start kind of like where your cheekbone indents, maybe like a little bit above.
02:25And then I like to just kind of run it along the perimeter of your face.
02:29Our new profilter concealer.
02:31I'm so excited to try these.
02:33If you're 240 in foundation, your perfect match would be 240 in concealer.
02:37Oh, I love that they're going to match.
02:38So you're 240 in foundation, but I'm going to use 235.
02:41I'm using the new concealer brush, which is really cute.
02:46Like to kind of like slope it down on the nose.
02:49Maybe do a little bit on the chin, a little on the forehead, just to kind of give your face
02:53a little bit of light.
02:54And then I'll go back in with the precision sponge and kind of blend that in.
02:58So 50 shades is a ton.
03:01Right.
03:01Kind of unprecedented in terms of the concealer category.
03:04Right.
03:05Why 50?
03:06Well, we had to have a shade for every foundation.
03:08And when we have 50 foundations, everyone deserves their perfect concealer shade.
03:12So it's just, it was only right.
03:14We're going to give yourself a little bit of a glow.
03:16This is rum matchstick, and I like putting it on the tops of the cheekbones.
03:20Okay, so now I'm going to do a little bit of blush.
03:22I'm going to take some Yacht Life.
03:24Amazing names.
03:25Right?
03:26They all have amazing names.
03:27Rihanna chooses all the names.
03:29I'm going to take our new Lose Powder.
03:34What is it?
03:34We did eight tones so that you kind of have like that perfect translucent color for your shade range.
03:39And you can use this all over the face too.
03:41So now I'm going to give your eye a little bit of Kumin Get It, which is this really gorgeous
03:45warm brown.
03:46And I'm just warming up the crease with it.
03:48This is the exact color that I used for the Singapore launch event with Rihanna.
03:53And then I'm going to go into the palette and I'm going to pick up on Mirage, which is this
03:57really pretty like skin tone light pink.
04:00And I'm just going to apply this on your eyelid.
04:01The brush is wet so it kind of gives a little sheen to the eye.
04:05And I like to press like the color just always comes out a little bit better.
04:08That looks really pretty.
04:10You know what?
04:10I'm going to take whatever is left over on my brush and I'm going to kind of just coat it
04:13on your brow bone too.
04:15And I'm going to go in now with Hustle Baby.
04:17Rih and I love using this on the brow bone.
04:19And this has like a pop of highlight.
04:25Eyeliner time.
04:26I know we love a supply liner.
04:29And I kind of like to do my wing depending on the eye shape when the eye is open because
04:34that's what it's going to look like.
04:36So now close your eyes.
04:37That's what it's going to look good in.
04:44Lash time.
04:45These are kind of drama, but I'm kind of into it.
04:48Oh no, honey.
04:49These are bomb.
04:50I'm excited.
04:51So good.
04:56Girl, you stunning.
04:58I'm going to take some Stunna lip paint.
05:00I like to do like a heart shape at the top of the lip.
05:08And then personally, I like to go back in with a precise lip brush and do the corner, the inner
05:14corners of the mouth.
05:17Stunning.

05:18It's so good.
05:19Okay, I'm going to do a little bit of that Kumin Get It underneath the bottom lash line.
05:29Just going to do a little liner right at the lash line.
05:31You want some extra glow.
05:33So let's go in with some Girl Next Door, which is gorgeous.
05:36I'm going to mix the two together.
05:37Take the cheek hugging brush and I'm just going to coat it right on top of your cheekbone.
05:41Take it up to your temple area.
05:43Ready?
05:44Are you ready?
05:48I love the eyelashes.
05:49Aren't they gorgeous?
05:50They look so cool.
05:51Oh, I forgot that I wanted to do something on you.
05:53Your beauty mark.
05:54I'm going to enhance it.
05:55I'm going to use a little bit of Hennessy and a little bit of Kumin Get It.
05:58My skin looks so good.

06:10So I tried it and it wasn't too bad actually.
06:15Priscilla gave me a lot of tips on how to apply everything.
06:19The fun new launch of the day was definitely the concealers in 50 shades.
06:25So incredible.
06:26They went on really well.
06:27I think that overall my base lasted super well throughout the day.
06:32I actually didn't have to oil blot at all.
06:36So that's a plus.
06:38She went ham on the bronzer.
06:42Way more than I normally wear.
06:44So I really like piled that on when I did it myself.
06:47And I think that what Priscilla did really did show me that I can probably afford to do a little
06:52bit more.
06:52The eyeshadow look actually was pretty simple.
06:55I really liked it.
06:56Definitely a look that I would wear on the day to day.
06:57The only thing that I think was pretty difficult were the false eyelashes.
07:03False eyelashes are really annoying.
07:05They're not hard to put on per se.
07:09I just felt them constantly on my eyelids.
07:12Like no matter where I looked, I could see the lashes in my periphery.
07:16Like there was just no escaping them.
07:18But they did look really good in photos.
07:25So maybe I'd wear them again.
07:27We'll see.
07:27Jury's still out on that one.
07:28And then we moved on to lips.
07:30This was actually the first time that I'd ever tried the Senna lip paint.
07:34I personally think it did look good on me.
07:37If I do say so myself.
07:39And then on top of that we went in with a little bit more highlighter.
07:42Which I love.
07:43And that was pretty much it.
07:45It was a pretty straightforward look.
07:47But it was really fun to see Priscilla's approach to makeup.
07:50And also learn a bit more about how Rihanna and Priscilla collaborate.
