Here are some fun ways to add this sleek foot accessory to your style.

00:00I'm a big fan of tall and over-the-knee boots because they add attitude to any
00:03outfit and recently the designers have agreed with me. Dior, Miu Miu, and Givenchy
00:07have all shown outfits with tall and over-the-knee boots. So today I'm going
00:11to show you three ways to transition yours into spring.
00:25If you're a little hesitant about over-the-knee boots, a great place to start
00:28is a flat shape and a light color. I think they look really cool if you make
00:32them a little bit equestrian by pairing them with a button-down like this and a
00:35blazer. I'd wear these on the weekend and I'd trade in the light denim for a black
00:38pant on a workday.
00:42For the second look, I'm going to use a pair of chunkier boots, a sleek dress, and boxy bag.
00:49The first look was pretty conservative and the second is a little bit more playful.
00:52It's 60s, it's mod, but it has a kind of rocker vibe because of the chunk of the sole
00:56on the boot. I would wear this shopping out on a spring day, or you could wear it with
01:00jeans and a t-shirt.
01:05So I have one more look for over-the-knee boots. I'm going to make an outfit appropriate for
01:08night with a skirt and top set and super tall suede boots.
01:13This last look is obviously the most daring, and it's for someone who's comfortable with
01:16over-the-knee boots and with heels. The idea here is to replace tights and heels entirely for
01:21a cocktail party or dressy occasion, and it works well with a playful outfit. Just make sure that you have
01:26the right
01:26amount of skin. You want a little bit, but not too much.
01:32Now it's time to give myself the boot. See you next time.
