When it comes to fauxhawks, we don't usually think of girls with long curly hair. But, why shouldn't we? After all, if there's one thing we've learned from hairstylist Michael Dueñas, it's that anything is possible. Take Candace, for example. She has some of the most spectacular curls around our office. We didn't think it was possible for her to get all that hair into anything even close to a fauxhawk. Oh, how wrong we were. Watch as Michael shows her how to twist and pin her locks into a super-rad fauxhawk shape. It's wild enough for parties and chic enough for a daytime look. Basically, it's perfect.

00:03You're the man. You got this. I'm gonna take you everywhere. I'm gonna show you how to do a faux
00:12hawk for the curly-haired girl. Gather all your hair very tightly to the top of your head. Begin
00:19rolling your hair towards the front of your head, keeping as much tension as possible. Roll all your
00:25ends into your hair and begin pinning with large hairpins, making sure you're keeping
00:31the sides of your hair as tight as possible. Once you have the top secured, spray your hair
00:37with hairspray and brush down any flyaways. Concentrate on getting it smooth and tight on the side.
00:46This look will rock you into 2014.
