00:13beautiful beachy waves. Summer's here. We want to make sure that you can look your
00:16best and look trendy and stylish in a really simple and easy way. Here we have
00:21our beautiful model Lynette. She's gonna show you exactly how she achieved this
00:27beautiful beachy wave.
00:36In order to get really beautiful beachy waves for the summer, even if you're not
00:40in the beach, going to the beach, we really want to show you some great
00:43techniques in order to get there. So the first thing you want to do is take your
00:46hair, even if it's normally naturally quite straight, you want to saturate it a
00:50little bit with water. It doesn't have to be dripping wet but you do want to soften
00:53up that hair so that way it's pliable when you set the product in the
00:57heat in there. And then from there you're gonna take Aveda Pure Abundance Style
01:00Prep and spray that all the way from roots to ends and then take some Aveda Pure
01:05Abundance Potion and put that into your hair as well and these products are
01:09gonna help support the texture you're gonna be creating with your diffuser. So
01:14what you're gonna do is you're gonna take a diffuser, high heat, medium blower and tip
01:18your head upside down so you get a little bit more volume through the
01:21root and then from there you're gonna diffuse your hair a hundred percent
01:25until it's completely dry.
01:34When finished to just define some of your look, you're gonna take your flat iron and
01:39either do two techniques, a figure eight set with your fingers wrapping the hair
01:44around your fingers in the figure eight set and then flat ironing that and then
01:47the other option is to take a pin curl set wrapping the hair around your fingers
01:52and supporting that with the heat.
01:58And then when it's all finished you're gonna take Aveda Light Elements
02:02Texturizing Cream and you're gonna put that through the hair just to define some
02:06of the wave.
02:12And then just to support it to make sure that that hair stays all day you're gonna
02:16use some Aveda control force to help support the style.
02:29So I just gave you a quick instant makeover on how to get a beautiful beachy wave when you
02:34combine two very necessary ingredients, the right products, the right tools, the right
02:38technique and you are all there to create what you need to look for this summer.
